When I was little my late aunt would dress up in her clown attire and volunteer at events that happened in our local park. All the kids loved her and she would always have those little strawberry candies that she would pass out to the kids, it was a great time

Quick correction note of love from NC/TN: Appalachia/Appalachian is pronounced with a hard "ch." You can remember it this way, "If you mispronounce Appalachia, I'll throw an apple at cha." The entomology of the name is bizarre and a fun rabbit hole to go down.

I remember when witchy and magical items were so hard to find and we mult ipurposed items in our circles. Now witchy and magical items are tendy, available and at a good price or better yet thrifted, my Witch heart flutters
I think the good thing about not having a lot of storage space is that you can more easily figure out what is really important to you to keep! I LOVE your Happy Halloween banner! That is such a great find.
And learn how to get creative with furniture, shelving, things that double as storage like ottomans, etc

My boyfriend and I are going as psychedelic Alice and the mad hatter. Thrifted everything and all I have to do now is tie-dye my apron and his vest!
My thrift store organizes Halloween/autumnal things together near the front and jack(-o-lantern)s up price this time of year. But there was a pumpkin-esc basket in their bountiful basket area. You may not notice it at first glance but it is. The bands of thin wood strips layer vertically give a slight hint of the thick ridges and recessed grooves, and it tapers in ever so slightly at the top. I snatches it for $2 (its a big basket) and have my small live pumpkins nestled in it/overflowing out of the top.

My favorite decoration is I thrifted a small cake stand with a wooden base and I put a skull underneath it instead of a cupcake. 10/10 recommend. This year I’m going as a pirate! 🏴☠️

I was going to do Morticia Monday and Pageant Winner Barbie on Tuesday in the office.
My favorite costume so far was Mother Nature. I got an ivory colored dress from the Halloween section on clearance. I clipped on birds and sewed on leaves an flowers (all from the days I worked at a craft store) and made a circlet of leaves for my head. I'm still gearing up to be the Headless Horseman one of these days.
Our 5yo is making us all dress up as Toy Story characters. I have to be bo peep 😢
