I can’t argue much with you at all on this. Couple years ago they released an sig for someone where they had all these crazy specs, except the Floyd was a special and it was 2000 US I think? LOL like why? I actually like Jackson, but sometimes their brains just have a big ole fart. Like Fender in some cases. Also what’s that background tune cause it sounds killer.
Popular belief that I’ve seen is that a lot of the problems with Jackson started when Fender acquired them. I don’t know for sure. All I can say is the decisions they’ve been making the last few years are odd. Like most of the American companies I suspect they’re putting a lot of their legacy into the price rather than making guitars that will compete with their contemporaries.
