Metal. Coffee. Guitars.
That’s pretty much it. I’ll post my music, the occasional cover, and videos documenting new guitars (fresh out of the box or new to me), pickups I’m trying out, and whatever mod projects I am up to.

There's probably going to be a guitar solo in the final version during the thrashy part after the totally not a rip off of "Raining Blood" section. #heavymetalmusic #thrashmetalmusic #metalmusic

Varkensstad "Sludge" on Epiphone Goth Explorer
I actually have a 1998 wine red i got as my first guitar second hand. I was 16 that was 2003 and its still going strong
Best album in my opinion 🔥🤘🔥
@@cpruitt1000 it’s up there for me, but Kill slightly edges it out.
My favorite Frost album
Instantly started banging my head 🤘
Out of curiosity, does your stock bridge pickup say "lead 70s V"? My neck says "Rhy 70s VExplorer", so im curious if they accidentally put a V pickup in the bridge, or if for this run they were using the same bridge pickup for the explorer and Vs.
@@Crisis_Brew I’d have to dig them out but I think mine said the same thing. I know some 2020 and 2021 models for sure had that and other years it’ll say “rhy 70s” or “lead 70s”. The V and the Explorer use the same 70s tribute pickups though if that helps.
Well damn, I was here to hear about the offset v’s but that red m-1000 looks tempting. Great vid.
Ugh!!!
Goes to my watch later list straight.
norsk arisk black metal!🤘😈
Weird top 5 but Why not 😊
@@baptistemurat2203 I could very easily to a top 5 of just songs from BME, TMTC, Ashes, or The Blackening. Hell I could do one on The Burning Red.
For sure & one of the best album in the decade
The first Cannibal Corpse song i ever heard. Such an incredibly brutal band.
Heaviest shit on earth
Heaviest cc song fite me
@@jamesspencer6433 I don’t disagree
Sorry blowtorch slaughter takes the cake in my book. Yes slow and heavy this wins the metal race yet for what packs the most punch that song wins OR A VERY CLOSE #2 frenzy feeding
The schecter I had was USA made in Sun valley California And I would never pay 300$ For a case. I mean come on man really a case should never run over a hundred dollars
If Hell had a soundtrack😈 LONG LIVE BATHORY!
I have the same guitar first thing I did was got a really good full setup and changed the caps from Malory to orange drop and changed the bridge it’s as great as my two Gibsons
Such an amazing album one of my favorite songs.Trying to figure out what the entites are on the front.
@@StarMercurian I don’t know if it’s anything specific, I thought I read somewhere that the cover artist was just creating a piece that complimented the theme of the album.
@GhostDragon1182 It's based off of H.P Lovecraft's work and there are a couple of entities that look similar but not quite the ones on the front of the record.
@@StarMercurian yeah this one and the Undreamable Abysses are deep in Lovecraft lore. I really like what they’ve been doing and I hope they do at least one more in this “phase” of the band.
Love it!!!
Oh my good luck!
Bought one of these last week because I was looking for a passive Les Paul style guitar and didn't want to over-spend on an Epiphone, and can't justify dropping over a grand on a Gibson. Got mine for way below the RRP, so I wasn't too bothered when I noticed a few tiny marks here and there, and that I'm probably going to have to swap the pups out eventually, but for playing classic rock that my EMG loaded Schecter just doesn't work for, it's perfect for the money.
How's the neck binding on yours? I recently bought the purple burst version and was a bit disappointed by several tooling marks on the neck binding. It's nothing major, and I guess it's to be expected at this price point.
@@SelwynRogers all my guitars with neck binding have tool marks to some degree. This one isn’t any worse than my others. I roll the edges a bit and polish the fret ends though and that does help clean some of those marks up.
I don't care which guitar has pau ferro and how expensive the guitar is. Pau ferro is a more economical alternate to rosewood => it is a cheap wood.
Something being scare, which makes it more expensive, does not mean it's necessarily superior. Pau Ferro is cheaper because it's more readily available than rosewood. If rosewood was suddenly as abundant as Pau Ferro and they were the same price would you hold the same opinion? Pau Ferro was reserved for high end guitars until CITES regs clamped down on rosewood and they switched to Pau Ferro on less expensive guitars, had they still used it exclusively on $5k guitars, nobody would be calling it a cheap alternative.
Been considering one , theyre well built and all parts are customisable ( jazz pickups )- strings , sound good
@@joekelly9369 they’re fine in their own right but as a mod platform they’re great.
I put Dimarzio Super Distortions in mine. Now it sounds exactly like Tom Scholtz's. Couldn'ask for better, and the're still available with 2- conductor wire! 4-conductor (for phase tapping) ruins the pickup!
Admittedly not my cleanest edit but I wasn’t going to spend a whole day looking for stems from an obscure 1990 house song.
Proud to be loud 🤘😎🤘🇮🇹👍
Agree that this is how it should be seen, an homage to thrash metal essentially which sparked everything else. I may not be a fan of this album or really the genre in general, outside of a few obvious names, but its obvious to me what this is.
The Cavaleras already took the music back, just not the name. That is why Sep folded.
My band❤
No Cavalera, No Sepultura.
This is fire!, i can use it for a vocal cover? :O
Ride my rocket was an awesome song
At this point pretty much everybody knows about the 80s albums, the entities in control of the brand should just reissue them.
Congrats bro how much was it???
It was pretty reasonable, about $24 USD.
@@GhostDragon1182 oh dang that is reasonable gotta get mine for sure.
Brutal
Poor guitars here, no Andreas no Schizofrenia
Gonna have to disagree with you there.
Do you hear any difference with the guitars?
@@patrickbertlein4626 I've been playing guitar since 1994 and I remember when Sepultura released ChaosAD I bought it at the time (vinyl). And Andreas Kisser's footprint is missing.
Sepultura sin Max nunca fue nada
100% agree CAVALERA or nothin🤘🏻
Sounds cool
well balance of groove and brutality! sik
Thank you👊 had a terrible stretch of writer’s block so this and the other one I uploaded were the first things I wrote in awhile.
massive guitar tone yet every note cuts right in there man sounds gnarly
Rectifier sim and a Mesa oversized cab IR, studied a lot of Erik Rutan behind the scenes stuff with various bands to see how he was handling low tuned guitars.
Cavalera's made the ultimate power move with this re-recording trilogy. Legendary 🔥
I’ve stayed out of the Sepultura/Cavalera stuff for a long time but this whole Sepultura ending and 40 year celebration really rubbed me the wrong way. Kisser can’t even acknowledge the Cavalera’s starting that band before he was even a member. I enjoy the re-recording for what they are but I’m glad they also have that “remember where it started” vibe to them.
Deftones will always be my first love.
Tank Abbott! I didn’t know he plays guitar.
That’s a nice break from Kerry King jokes
@@GhostDragon1182 You are the king… just not Kerry.
@@th3gr81 you haven’t heard me solo yet🤣
Good shit man
I own this guitar and I dropped in some Bare-Knuckle War Pigs alnico. Dark and brutal AF. Do you have neck dive on yours?
I haven’t experienced any neck dive. About to overhaul this though with a tonepros bridge and tail piece, hip shot locking tuners and I think I’m going with Seymour Duncan Black Winter pickups. I kinda like the sound it has for what I used it for but I want something a little more robust so it’s useable for anything I do.
Kult🤘
Still sounds like it could come out in 2025 and be relevant
It still blows my mind he’s using a Marshall to get that guitar sound. Even if it is modded.
I heard they stumbled across that sound by accident
@@TCM215 it was Dino’s amp but I’m sure there was some good mic placement involved, and Colin Richardson always gets sick guitar tones.
@GhostDragon1182 l saw an interview with them where they were asked if they could make an album as good as demanufacture again and they basically said, of course not, we don't even know how we made that album
@@TCM215 probably a lot of it is because they changed the arrangements so many times during recording that Dino played the bass because it was easier than having Christian learn the new arrangement each time.
🤘🤘🤘🤘
Hell yeah brother❤
