I had this problem, was trying to solve in the parking lot by watching videos but what helped was - A jump start!!! All the warnings go away and car just started.

Thanks Shan I have been having this issue ever since I got my battery changed. I thought I would have to take it in to the dealership to get this fixed but thanks a lot saved me time
@@peterbarahona yes, it was a faulty battery, I had to jumpstart my car and took it to dealership, they ran test on battery and it was bad, they replaced the battery as it was still under warranty.
@@devangbhavsar8248 good for you , cause I had the problem and it’s not my battery or alternator .. it’s my brake system problem or parking brake problem .
@@peterbarahona I am sorry, but in that case I would have it checked at dealership or a trusted local car repair shop. I wouldn’t mess with the electronic system of the car, it’s better to have it checked by professionals, I am sure that will fix your problem.
do i need to use electric parking brake?I dont park in slope areas. I notice when i put my car gear in parking the car rolls back a little. is that normal? will it damage anything in the longrun?
Jimmy Son the car rolling back means your transmission is stopping the vehicle, as opposed to the brakes. This causes damage to your transmission over time which is expensive maintenance

Hey Sean. I'm in need of advice. Did the rear brakes on 2017 crv. Engage brake maintenance mode. Completed brakes and put back into normal mode, but now the yellow parking brake light is on and the parking brake won't engage. What could I do?
when you stop on a slope/ hill, keep your foot on the brake, put the car into neutral, engage your parking brake, then take your foot off the brake, then move it into park. There is no load on the transmission if you do it in that sequence.

When I put to R, and step on the gas, the electronic hand brake just turns off by itself and the car just went down. I don't want to step on the gas too hard, I may hit the car in the back. How may I drive this car like a manual hand brake so I know it won't go forward downhill and when I am in reverse.

U FIXED MY CAR!! This was causing my car to glitch out horribly. The dealer would have charged me 1000 dollars in fake labor for that. God bless you.

Great information. Honda batteries are dying because of the electronic brake so it is good to disconnect it instead of having to pull the fuse

S is sport mode. That makes the car hold revs and us a bit more sporty. L is low. For going up and down hills. You can also see on the owner’s manual.

I have a 2016 and mine doesn't have a hand brake. It has an old fashioned foot pedal.
Everyone should be parking their car with the parking brake not the transmission brake, it is a safety issue to leave it off and is downright lazy
