I removed the entire console on my 2450 -- its huge -- and placed just the monitor part on my wall. I have an older model though. Love the look of the new monitor. Wonder if I can swap them? Great job as always.
Steve - thanks for posting this. About to get started unpacking and great tips from you - really appreciated. Enjoyed the struggles with your wife. No doubt I will have a similar situation in a couple of hours 😉
I thought I would like a more flexible belt but my body didn’t like it though I didn’t have a Nordictrack. I ended up getting the Horizon T101 as a temporary item because my Tread + was recalled exactly 2 weeks before my delivery date. I thought my body needed that type of deck the Horizon provided. Knowing the price of the tread and the opportunity for all current users to return the Tread+ I knew it would be out of my price range if it got released (I expect at least 6K), so I just got the Tread and my legs feel a lot better on the Tread vs the Horizon.
I just had it professionally installed, but the screen only rotated side to side, won’t seem to tilt. How does the tilt feature work? Is there a chance they installed it wrong?
It was a 3 man delivery. It’s fairly easy to move on it’s wheels but would be very difficult to move between floors IMO. NordicTrack may be able to give you the exact weight for the deck.
How bizarre we took the inspiration for our garage conversion from your Peloton studio but after a lot of research we opted for the Nordic Track 2450 instead of the Peloton tread. I just loved the idea of being able to map my own run on Google earth and then run or walk it on Google street view. Also the fact that it inclines or declines automatically even when using the Google map function. Great piece of kit but as you described massive fiddle with the plastic bits on the hand rails and nothing really lined up mm perfect. Still well pleased with it though. Hope you enjoy yours.
@@SteveJulien Same 3 delivery guys as well. Not sure if you are aware but if any of your family work for the NHS just ring the customer service line or drop them an email and they extend your IFIT membership from 1 to 12 months free. Also the 'ECHO' app works seamlessly with your I Watch for heart rate monitoring and active pulse which slows down or speeds up depending on your heart rate.
@@SteveJulien I’ll def be tuned in. Sn I am going back in forth between getting 2450 or the med grade nordictrack. Would love to hear in your view what made you ditch the peloton and get the nordictrack

Very helpful, and likeable presenter
I have an older Nordictrack. I love it. I can’t run anymore but I walk on it everyday.
I really enjoy the hikes!
@@SteveJulien 👍
It's 0839 in Queensland, Australia, and I am just about to embark on assembling this machine. God help me.

Thank you for the video. Purchased and set up. Can the screen tilt up?
Glad it helped! Yes, it should tilt up and down as well as left and right. Sometimes they are stiff though when new.
I snapped the blue wire @7:35, any ideas how to repair ? It’s doesn’t look like it was meant to be removed once locked into place which is odd
Sorry to hear this, reach out to NT and see what they say.

The piston is what I needed to see lol
I figured it out thanks brother. God bless
Were you able to connect your iPhone to the treadmill’s speakers?
I feel your pain building the treadmill. Between unboxing, dragging it upstairs and assembly, my husband and I wanted to kill each other.
Quick question, how heavy is the deck? Putting mine together but it's going in the basement. Thanks in advance.

What a coincidence! I'm loving for the same reasons as well as the outdoor content. Its much easier on my body as well with the softer deck.

Thanks Liz!
Do you have any squeaking when walking or running on it? I get some and can be a little bit annoying
I haven’t had that but might be worth sending a video to NordicTrack 👍🏽
What happened to your Peloton tread?
That’s a good question
Was hoping to get that video out this week but I don’t think I’ll have time. It’s written, I just need to film it. 😬

Did you have to adjust the belt at all? I just got mine today and the belt slows or stops when I step on it especially at low speeds

@@SteveJulien thanks. If it stops or slows down noticeably that does mean it’s to loose correct?
Have 20 miles on my 2022 model and black screen. Won’t turn on.
Chek the power lead is all the way in. If its not, it can work its way out when in use.
