I use a surge protector connected to an smart plug so I just say Alexa turn on treadmill and “click “ it powers on and when I’m done “click@ it’s turns off. Works get with my studio bike as well. I have a dual smart plug it works great.
My unit is constantly on, the internal fan never stops. Even in sleep mode. Seems like it’ll not last if it never stops. I don’t want to have to power it off every time I use it
The Studio Series treadmills are excellent! If you’re not planning to use the built-in tablets features look at the Studio Series LE as it has a dedicated iPad shelf. (It also has the same 3.6CHP motor as the 2024 2450 but isn’t available in all markets (and as always, double check its other features work for you)) If that’s not available where you are, then any studio series treadmill with wall mounted shelf behind for an iPad (or wall mounted smart TV would also work.) My picks are the 1750 and 2450. Do you think that this would cause a lot of noise for my downstairs neighbor if I live in a condo? I don't hear much noise typically but this is a large machine
Unless the building was really solid, then I would say there could be noise transference to anyone below you. This tread is really well cushioned so that may reduce that. Not a definite answers, but hope it helps.
Hi Steve how are you?can we not using iFit to use the treadmill, i mean can we use the screen to watch a youtube or somthin elss..because we dont want to pay the membership thank you Steve
Im great thanks and hope you are too! The screen is locked to iFit or manual workouts. When I did my 10,000 steps a day challange, I mounted a ipad on the wall behind the Treadmill to watch YT. If I was looking at that permantly, I would put a TV there and go for the Nordictrack 1750 (or 1250) as theres less of a need for the 22 inch screen (Plus the 1750 is essentially the same, just a smaller screen)
Thanks for the videos, I’m really torn between Nordic & Peloton. Curious re your 2450, when I follow your link for the UK it’s quite different to yours - yours look like the 2950, seems like they have changed the names?
Hi! Looks like they’ve sold out of the current 2450’s on the UK site and have the older model there. The new 2950 is really good and has the bigger 27 inch screen. Cannot use my 2450 if Internet is out. Storm came through and knocked it out and it may be several more days before it's restored but in the meantime my machine is completely useless. I instantly regret buying.
A few things you need to know about this treadmill number one you have to turn it on and off manually bend down and hit a button and it takes over 60 seconds before you can start doing anything with it. I would not buy this treadmill again. It never truly goes into a sleep mode. It’s very angular and difficult to move around and cannot leave a room without disassembly.

Ah Steve! We are both slow runners! I love it! Did my entire run today at 4.5! 😅
4.5mph sounds like a very sensible speed! The tortoise always beats the Hare 😂

Brilliant!
Does the screen tilt up? It looks like it does, but I can't seem to get it to move.
Yes, but they can be stiff out of the box.

I only have my machines on when I’m using them. Otherwise they’re powered off.

How easy is it to switch between users for multi user households?
Very, you each have a tab on the Home Screen.
Is there anyway to put an ipad mpount on this machine? I am not going to pay the $450/year for ifit.

it says it has a constant 3.5hp motor so what does this really mean?
it still does not appear if it is a DC or AC motor?

Do you need an accessory for the heart rate monitoring for the workouts? Im assuming you do
I use a Whoop as a HRM and it works really well (as well as being a great health tracker) th-cam.com/video/cYTi4iNswxg/w-d-xo.html

@@SteveJulien ok thanks - yeah that’s the first video of yours I watched. Great to see a UK review!
Did you part ways with peloton ?
