  • Forbidden Archaeology: Lost Giants of America | The Smithsonian's Biggest Secret
In 1886, mining engineer John T. Reid was told the Paiute legend
of a giant people defeated by the natives near Lovelock, Nevada. The last of the giants met their fiery end deep within the bowels of a cave.
Reid’s belief in this legend stirred great interest in the secrets held within Lovelock Cave.
Official excavations were undertaken in both 1912 and 1924 by the University of California, with reports telling of thousands of artifacts being recovered. Of these artifacts, the most puzzling were human remains. Well, they were almost human.
Skeletons measuring between eight and ten feet tall were said to be found during the dig. Skeletons belonging to who are now known as “The Lovelock Giants.”
Legends of people of enormous size are told across a myriad of cultures, And despite what we’ve been told by mainstream science, there is evidence to suggest they really existed. The remains of giants have been found all over the United States; and all over the world.
So why aren’t these amazing finds on display in any museum? Or taught in any classes? Or mentioned in any history books?
Because the existence of giants, for some reason, has been covered up.

We desperately NEED an episode just about the Smithsonian. Specifically, all they cover up, and where they get their funding.

    • @Kopie0830
      @Kopie0830 ปีที่แล้ว +95

The Smithsonian has two sources of funding - federal appropriations and income generated from gifts, revenue-generating activities, and investments (referred to as Smithsonian "trust funds"). Basically, it's funded by the government, bankers and private donors (mostly rich people (like the illuminateh, bildeberg group, the skull and bones, the bohemian grove, bill gates, soros, lizzerd people lol).

The Smithsonian being exempt from any of the Native American return actions is ridiculous. Why is that legal? To include every other museum and/or federal agency except the one whos actually going to have them. You don't need to be a hecklefish to spot that conspiracy.

@@cameronschmit6472 Governments have a very well documented, lengthy track record of doing private investigations on archaeology sites and hiding findings from the public. That doesn’t mean giants are real but you also can’t dismiss stories like this. There could be a logical explanation for giant coffins even without bodies to actually fill them. Humans have built and done weirder things to honor their gods.

Doesn't matter if it's religion which claims these things or multiple 35' tall skeletons found in Jordan in 2023, or ancient civilization depicting in stone carvings. People have a hard time accepting anything outside of there pre conditioned environment. I'm not trying to mix in politics but why does it always seem leftoids are always the first to deny and those who are independent or "right" consider the possibility.

One of my co-workers was big into skydiving. About 6 months ago he was parachuting from a very high altitude. Something went wrong with his parachute and it became tangled and failed to open. He reportedly hit the ground at approximately 275 mph. He was killed instantly and almost every bone in his body was shattered. While in the morgue the mortician was preparing him to be embalmed. The Mortician had a TV in the embalming room and was playing Why Files. At the end of the 2nd episode, the man woke up and sat straight up on the embalming table. The mortician stood frozen in wonderment. Within 3 hours the man walked out of the funeral home and was completely healed. 2 days later the man who was thought to be dead competed in a tennis tournament and won it outright. This proves beyond a shadow of a doubt Why Files is the greatest show in the history of mankind.

My dad, a fairly large man at 6’1” & 275 lbs, used to tell me stories about when he was growing up. He particularly loved talking about funeral practices observed by our family back then with my dad being half Czechoslovakian. My Pop-Pop was brought here as a baby by his parents to escape Nazi occupation of their villages. My Pop-Pop was even larger than my dad at around 6’4. Dad said when relatives passed living relatives from the old country would visit to pay respects. Dad said he would marvel at the very size of them! He said especially great uncles were huge beasts of men, so large they were able to pick my Pop-Pop up like a baby and manhandle him!

You know, there were Europeans who did no harm to any of the NA's, but were attacked by them anyway. Many NAs saw Whi tes as a singular unit, that if one group of Whi te people harmed them, then the others that looked like them must intend to as well. This led to even Euros that had no harmful intent, to pick up their weapons and go to war when their families were taken or ki lled too. *This* is something that really isn't talked about enough, and in an academic setting, I don't think it's talked about at all these days. So now, far too many people have this notion that the NA were all peaceful and the Euros were all bloodthirsty

in an age of ever expanding propaganda, deception, coercion, and, for lack of better words, outright bullshit, it is phenomenal to have someone like you present. Thank you for the videos you post, I truly enjoy every minute watching and haven't had that from a channel in literal years. Every video is nothing but quality, fine research, good humor, and love from the creator who made it. Nowadays, that is so far and few to come by it puts me at a loss of words. Regardless, I personally think your videos are up to par with most tv-produced shows, and in all honesty, I think it exceeds them by miles because you are actually telling the truth!!! Thank you for your channel and hard work. It truly shines in your videos and is recognized by your viewers. I look forward to the day where I can pay it back and (if you'd like) turn your TH-cam channel into a full on production show (without any bs censorship of corse). The last bit where it’s explaining Graham Hancock’s theory hits home so hard. I studied archaeology in uni. I had to research a site on S. America that was way older than the accepted dating. Nothing about the dates seemed off. There were plenty of data points, replicated results - sound dating work. So I looked into sea levels and then ocean currents and then sailing technology. I posited, with full references to legit sources, that it was perfectly possible that people travelled to and from the Pacific to S. America. It was a theory and I had the science to back it as being plausible.
My grade, you ask? Well it came back as ungraded. I tried challenging this and got nowhere. It left a seriously bad taste in my mouth that lasts til this day. We should be able to discuss and challenge things. We don’t know everything and a theory is a theory that should change as new evidence comes to light. Zahi Hawass once said “we know everything there is about Egypt. We’ve found everything” or words to that effect and yet new discoveries are happening all the time (they don’t know everything and they certainly haven’t found everything.
Now the really galling part. Flash forward 10 years or so and the theory I put forward in my paper? It’s now being seriously considered as being likely.
I have nothing nice to say about the establishment. Forbidden history and archaeology is a thing. People will ruin others to keep the status quo. Thank you to TWF for bringing the subject up for people to consider.

We don't know what we don't know and the field is changing rapidly. Do they even teach anthropology in high school? Because then, what archaeology can't find, cultural anthro works on. Hence why we Irish 'tip our hat' or say hello to crows.).

Most of these stories are true. The powers that be always spread misinformation to try and give people a reason to doubt the truth. That misinformation is what you hear at the end of these episodes. Most people are afraid to feel foolish so they are looking for a reason not to believe. It is a subconscious defense mechanism. For example, most of the photos used in this video are fake. They are from a photo contest where they asked people to come up with the most convincing photos of giant skeletons. Then they flooded the internet with these photos and now anybody that uses them can be brushed off by the "fact checkers" and people will think giants are fake even though the stories and history are true.

Even here in New Zealand we have legends of red-haired giants and stories of battles between "regular" humans and these giants usually end up with the last of the race cornered in a cave. There is even the familiar element of an alleged coverup by the authorities.
And yes, even sweet potatoes are part of the story! The Maori word for Sweet Potato is Kumara.
Maori language is very close to that of Easter Island and Easter Island has a legend of a battle taking place with "long Ears", the race of Red-heads (who were responsible for the stone statues) who were killed by being herded into a pit that was set on fire. Sound familiar?
I remember Arthur C. Clarke talking about a similar story among natives in Sri Lanka, so its a common theme just like the "Atlantis" flood story.
All these common folklore elements must have a basis in reality and a thread of cultural transmission to connect them.

There is so much of this stuff all over this planet. Its a shame the planet has become so corrupted by a small group who have managed to hijack reality.
