@arronjones1662 the (1st) 1000 model with the oled screen, hands down! It still holds up to this very day. Fun fact; Samsung made the oled screen for vita so, yeah.
A modded Vita is the GOAT. I never liked the squared sides from the DS Lite and 3DS. Vita is like the Saturn/Dreamcast of handhelds. Catered to hardcore gamers while getting dropped after 2 years like DC did. Here are all my Vita games.. Assassin's Creed Chronicles Bastion Blazblue CP Extend Broken Age CounterSpy Dead Or Alive 5 Plus Dead Or Alive Xtreme 3 Venus Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax Dragon's Crown Final Fantasy X HD God Of War Collection Iconoclasts Metal Gear Solid HD Collection Muramasa Rebirth Plants Vs. Zombies Rayman Legends Rayman Origins Rocketbirds: Hard Broiled Chicken Rocketbirds 2: Evolution Shantae: Half-Genie Hero Sly Cooper Collection Sly Cooper: Thieves Of Time Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed Table Top Racing Tearaway Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 Uncharted: Golden Abyss WipEout 2048 I don't like P4G, Gravity Rush, or LittleBigPlanet. Deleted them. Can always get them back. I liked Guacamelee and SteamWorld Dig 2 but decided to delete them. Assassin's Creed: Liberation is a rough game to look at. Such bad frame rates. Not into 3D platformers like Ratchet & Clank or Jak & Daxter. I also have 13 PSP games including compilations that has Sonic 1 & 2, Shinobi III, Street Fighter II Turbo, and Mortal Kombat 1-3. I have 17 PS1 games using Adrenaline which includes my two all-time favs: Final Fantasy VII and Tekken 3. I also have another 20 games using RetroArch. People really need to check out the Vita. There are tutorials on hacking them all over TH-cam. Takes like no more than 10 minutes. The 3DS is cool but it's just not as powerful. Vita has 28 GFlops. That's more than Dreamcast, PS2, GameCube, OG Xbox, and Wii. The 6th generation is the most beloved and the Vita surpasses all of them in raw power. I also own a Switch Lite which I love too but Vita takes the cake. Lighter, smaller, more versatile like using my DualShock 4 to control it. Vita is the GOAT. My PS Vita slim covers these systems: Game Boy, Game Gear, NES, Genesis, Super NES, PS1, PS2 (a few), PSP, and its own Vita games. Add all the indies that the Switch eventually got and many smartphones already had. My Galaxy Z Flip 3 used to have apps like Lemuroid to cover those older systems from the 80s and 90s but is now used to emulate Dreamcast, PS2, GameCube, and Wii. I gave up on MAME ROMs mainly because I grew tired mapping the controls for specific games. My Switch Lite is used for some 7th/8th gen ports like AC4: Black Flag and The Witcher 3. I play NBA 2K23 a ton on it. For games I missed out from the Wii U which I never bought. For the many awesome indies that the Vita and smartphones excel in like Horizon Chase: Turbo and Oddmar. I bought an iPhone SE 3 for only $150 last Oct. I used that too for indie games. I have Life Is Strange, Forgotton Anne, and GRIS. I'll use my DualShock 4 to control them and my SE 3's case has a kickstand. I have a Sony, Nintendo, Samsung, and Apple to cover my gaming needs. I will eventually get a Steam Deck. Might take 4 years as Valve isn't looking to make a smaller version any time soon. I badly want to play FF7 Remake and Shenmue III. I'm not getting it for emulation since I already have that covered. It's to play newer games like Elden Ring. At 42 growing up from the NES era, I want quick and easy games that doesn't kill a lot of time and doesn't force me to rage quit. Vita, Switch, and a Z Flip are perfect for that as they're a combination of all my favorite consoles from 1985-2006 that I can take anywhere with me.
The thing that makes any system great no matter how good the system is or isn’t, is the game library. Namely 1st party games, which is why the Switch is still kicking butt. The price for a modded vita is ridiculous and my modded psp does has both God of War games and Tekken 6. The vita didn’t have a vita version of Tekken! How did that happen?
I always want to get one, and maybe i will buy myself for this Christmas So, what your recommendations? The 1000 or 2000 series? Which one should i buy?
Currently, the PsVita is a great retro console, if modded supports, GB, GBA, NES, SNES, N64, Sega Genesis, Sega Saturn, PS1, PSP and PsVita games. Even tho I bought my PsVita games when I heard that the shop won't be supported I chose to buy a another one and jailbreak it, currently the support by the community is crazy, with fan made ports, especially impressive is the 30th anniversary port of the street fighter collection, porting all SF games up to SF3 third strike. Other great ports are the quake series, doom android ports like Alto's Odyssey, Mario Maker and a bunch of other stuff. Currently, I mainly use the Vita to read Manga, there is a great Manga reading App where you can even download different chapters. And with the long battery life, you can read a bunch of chapters on the go (bus/train rides) When you jailbreak the console, you can even use mini SD cards that go up to 500gigs. Thanks to modders you can even use both joysticks for PSP games and some PSP games can be run in the native resolution of the VITA. EVEN when you can't run some game smoothly, do not worry. You can OVERCLOCK your vita, so you can play most games smoothly in 30fps + some fan ports like quake1 can run in 60fps + the fat switch 1000 model (first version) has an OLED touch screen with some impressive good-looking colors, the 2000 model has an LCD screen. ALSO: you can mod your vita games, you can dig deep into the files of your console and can discover tht each game has a seperate folder for extra content (or you can just add it) if you look up how to mod your games you can patch them up for example fan-translations for games that never got released outside of Japan or you can even add texture changes to some games. But i would strongly recommend fan translations of games that dont have a english ports. tldr: buy the vita and mod it, especially with its shop not being supported there is a good community keeping it alive behind the scenes EDIT1: you can also USE the vita, if modded, LIKE A SWITCH you can plug it into a pc and record your gameplay or simply show it with OBS and plug the system aux for audio to a speaker, and with other mods you can even use a PS3, PS4 or PS5 controller to play your vita games. EDIT2: if you dont want to mod a Psvita because you are home a lot and want a non-mobile alternative but still want to experience psvita or modded psvita content you can just buy a PSTV which is basically a non mobile psvita which can be plugged to a tv and can also be modded just like the vita
Is it possible to mod physical copies of games with fan translations? Wondering be because I'm thinking of buying a Vita but will most likely buy my games the legal way. I like collecting and having physical copies of my games.
@@Husramash I think so, since mods/ fan translations are more like patch files that "update" the game, they aren't directly in the game file but in the files were patches and dlc are. At least to my understanding. I mean if you have the money you can buy physical but it is really expensive, with some game copies being sold for wayyy over price by private sellers, ofc you can get lucky but still. You still need to mod/jailbreak the vita system to be able to mod your games tho Hope this helps, any more questions and I'll answer them
@@A8EL Thank you for your reply and taking your time explaining! The thing is it's like 5-6 games I'm really interested to play and I really like to own my games in physical format. Have a large collection of PS3/4/5 games and like to expand with a Vita libary. The games I want are like 20-30$ in the used market. Just researched that If I play physical games then I would also need a expensive Sony memory card as SD2Vita wouldn't work because it mounts at the game card slot. In the end I think I just think it will be easier to just download the games and use SD2Vita. Then buy the games just for collecting sake, but then that would also make it kind of useless to buy the games because it will just feel like buying for display.
Do you personally have a video on jail breaking a ps vita? I’d like to do it but need a trusted video I’m nervous to choose one at random and have it mess up my system :/
You should make more of these console type review videos. I enjoyed watching it because of the format of the video. I'd like to see the Wii U next if possible or other consoles is fine.
Great video, appreciate you sharing your thoughts. Sony is to blame for the expensive proprietary memory cards which naturally led the modding community to find the exploit for hacking. I vaguely remember hearing from Colin Moriarty's podcast where he interviewed a developer at Sony stating that the exploit created a big risk for them which was one of the reasons why they stepped away from supporting it. Again, that was one of the reasons, but to them it was the number one reason.
You are correct, but it is very noticeable when you play in darkness. LCD can't turn off pixels entirely and when there are no other lights, dark scenes are far more superior on OLED
@@Nyxson yeah thats true, you can’t get around the pixels turning off. I don’t play in darkness because it’s terrible for your eyes so I guess I’ve never really noticed.
Everything is pretty on point here. It had a ton of potential that was squandered and the proprietary memory didn't help at all. It's telling that once you were able to run micro SDs on it, everyone now talks about how amazing it is. The fact that it plays PS1/PSP games natively would have been huge in this day and age compared to how Sony's Backward compatibility works on the PS5 Also, Persona 4 Golden is considered by many to have been the Vita's killer app.
Exactly said. Not much exclusive game that is for vita only. I remember buying vita in 2012 I was very exited but vanished as soon as I bought it due to lack of games at that time my parents even asked me to choose weather a laptop or the vita and I pick the vita for a present and I regret that I should have waited if there are worthy games before buying it. I enjoyed Gravity Rush, Uncharted and Soul Sacrifice as soon as I finished it there is nothing much to do. Everytime I go to game store I always waited for new release games and nothing aside from what I said appeal to me as soon as PS4 was release not much games was released in vita and it became boring to me that I sell my vita because of lack of games. I sold my vita in 2015 waited for 3 yrs for a good AAA a games to release exclusively and but got me disappointed. I was expecting vita to release an exclusive big name games vita version like Monster hunter, God of War, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts and other more known games but nothing was release that made me give up my vita in 2015. Most new games released in vita was indie games which don't appeal me.
How would I be able to put 1tb on my vita ? I’m doing this project and I want to add every game I played as a child (it’s a lot of games) and I would like to have 1tb
I am currently enjoying Monster Hunter Frontier Z, on a private server. With all the homebrew android ports and streaming options, this system is the best you can get for the price, imo.
I still have my PS Vita in 2023, and it makes more sense than ever, especially when they fixed the online store, and you can now buy games from PS1. I had the opportunity to play in Silent Hill from PS1, Driver, Dino Crisis and more. The OLED display still works so well after so many years, the console was released ahead of it's time. :)
I remember trading most of games to GameStop to get a PS Vita, but I honestly didn’t like it and donated it to a kid who’s house burnt down within a month or two.
I thought, when the Switch came out boasting about switching from TV to handheld, "what about Remote Play?". I still think that if the Vita got some updates and Sony put their shoulder into it, it would give the Switch some serious competition.
I love the Vita and if Sony would have stayed focused on it then it would still be going today. What killed it imo was the overwhelming amount of indie games that compared to games on a phone , which most of them just sucked. The lack of established game developers, games like Killzone proved how nice and fun a game could be on the Vita. Then the lack of streaming your PS3 and PS4 games didn't help either , I mean just look how they released the PS Portal now. The Vita was awesome and I still play it today
I am thinking about getting the ps vita only to play Minecraft ps vita edition. I am a sucker for big games on old consoles with lower quality for some reason.
You don't need anything else. You can buy games directly from Vita but I think you can do it with only by topping up an account balance. And you can also use PKGj.... Google it
Sony simply need to re-birth the vita with a new model with updated specs, updated OLED screen and camera’s, support for standard SD cards, and continue and update the online store where you can buy the whole catalogue of games from PS1, PS2 and PSP and older Vita games. The ability to download other useful apps for streaming video content would also be great (Netflix, Disney plus etc). Could easily rival the switch. The old vita design and even the psp still look really modern to this day!
They have gone for the playstation portal.... (sure you seen it) but even that's a half arsed attempt at doing it properly..... but its a good nice console..... but no outside streaming capabilities :(
I need help with a conundrum, I have multiple hundreds of hours on a Vita game that has an improved switch and pc port. Of course, I can't transfer my save. Should I just accept the sunk costs and continue playing on the vita, or should I bite the bullet and regain my progress on a newer console?
Sony is the best. They are the best at engineering and ingenuity. They suck at economics and business. If they put a little more into the planning of everything they truly would be number one all around. Nintendo holds a special place in my heart, and the thing that helped or made the switch outdo the vita was simply planning. Nintendo didn’t just come up with the switch a month or two before it’s release they probably have had it or atleast the idea for years and just sat on it…. Carefully sculpted and crafted it into what we have today until the “timing was right”. They saw and they executed. I love Sony so much and I hope they bring back support for the vita- rerelease something.
They should not have listened to all those people and other greedy companies saying cellphone games were the way of the future and that console games were dead. They wanted cheaply made games with as much microtransactions and loot boxes that can be made as quick as possible.
I agree with you seems like PlayStation always has their head up there but.... so much lost potential for us the players but also revenue for them😂... but yeah I have Nintendo switch but I might get a Vita just because I heard you can download like everything and a bunch of emulators or something... Got to run, I'll come back later to finish the vid
Still very happy with mine wich I bought and had imported from our friends in Japan in December 2011..... And its better today than its ever been..... battery is still good for 5/6 hours..... Not bad for a 12yr old bit of kit...... Shame it was put on the back shelf of Sony's closet and forgotten about 😢....
I’ve had 3 Vitas in my lifetime and 1 from around launch. I will never forget the taste of disappointment scrolling through the PSN store on that thing for years waiting for the next big game that would never come.
i remember buying one years into its lifespan, scrolling through the store and returning it back to gamestop. i owned a psp during its prime years so seeing such limited software support for the vita was a huge letdown for me
The thing is that today we have cellphones capable of many things like running game. I feel like the market for mobiles consoles is not the same or as strong as before. The PSVITA could have been a different thing and a better to entertain then an iPhone 4 with an early version of social media with weak algorithms. It’s another story today
@@NyxsonThe Nintendo switch is not exactly the same concept, it has a plus value compared to a cellphone. The Steam Deck sold around 1,62 millions units in 2022. Compare that to the PSP that sold 80 millions back in the day. The point ? It has become too niche, mobile consoles don’t sell as much as before and my theory is because of cellphones and other entertainment sources like social media. It would be too risky or not profitable to a big company like Sony to invest in a market that is in decline.
Amazing console though would be better without the touch screen it constantly spazzes out and most games don't need touch controls yet use it anyway like god of war or metal gear solid.
One big flaw in this video... you put the audio in some auto setting that makes it go high when you don't speak and go low when you speak... please change it manually because in the small breaks when you talk it changes it and it's so annoying to watch thanks! Also funny how the proprietary card killed ps vita! Maybe that's why xbox series consoles have been loosing to Sony even if the Series S is the most affordable next gen game!
I am pretty sure it's a problem with your Audio Playback EQ, because it's certainly not an issue with my video. I set audio ducking settings manually and it doesn't have issues. It's probably an issue with low frequencies on your device

On top of many developers didn’t make software for the vita it launched at a horrible time if it would have waited a few years it would have been different
I never personally had PS Vita myself ,, but my friend used to have and let me try it out n play some games on it ,,, and i was having fun asf , the controlls were confusing to get used to at first but after that i was having a blast. IF i could buy , i def would even full price .
Vita/PSTV has brough me nothing but countless hours of joy for many years and I still play to this very moment. I own all models, rare finds and even PSTVs. My Vita physical library is just bonkers which will last me a lifetime.
Which vita model would you recommend?
@arronjones1662 the (1st) 1000 model with the oled screen, hands down! It still holds up to this very day. Fun fact; Samsung made the oled screen for vita so, yeah.
A modded Vita is the GOAT. I never liked the squared sides from the DS Lite and 3DS. Vita is like the Saturn/Dreamcast of handhelds. Catered to hardcore gamers while getting dropped after 2 years like DC did.
Here are all my Vita games..
Assassin's Creed Chronicles
Bastion
Blazblue CP Extend
Broken Age
CounterSpy
Dead Or Alive 5 Plus
Dead Or Alive Xtreme 3 Venus
Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax
Dragon's Crown
Final Fantasy X HD
God Of War Collection
Iconoclasts
Metal Gear Solid HD Collection
Muramasa Rebirth
Plants Vs. Zombies
Rayman Legends
Rayman Origins
Rocketbirds: Hard Broiled Chicken
Rocketbirds 2: Evolution
Shantae: Half-Genie Hero
Sly Cooper Collection
Sly Cooper: Thieves Of Time
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed
Table Top Racing
Tearaway
Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3
Uncharted: Golden Abyss
WipEout 2048
I don't like P4G, Gravity Rush, or LittleBigPlanet.
Nah you really flexed all of your devices😭
I still own psvita till this date,i really want new gen sony portable offline gaming console
I always want to get one, and maybe i will buy myself for this Christmas
So, what your recommendations? The 1000 or 2000 series? Which one should i buy?
Definitely 1000, it's an Oled version
And with the long battery life, you can read a bunch of chapters on the go (bus/train rides)
When you jailbreak the console, you can even use mini SD cards that go up to 500gigs.
But i would strongly recommend fan translations of games that dont have a english ports.
tldr: buy the vita and mod it, especially with its shop not being supported there is a good community keeping it alive behind the scenes
EDIT1: you can also USE the vita, if modded, LIKE A SWITCH you can plug it into a pc and record your gameplay or simply show it with OBS and plug the system aux for audio to a speaker, and with other mods you can even use a PS3, PS4 or PS5 controller to play your vita games.
EDIT2: if you dont want to mod a Psvita because you are home a lot and want a non-mobile alternative but still want to experience psvita or modded psvita content you can just buy a PSTV which is basically a non mobile psvita which can be plugged to a tv and can also be modded just like the vita
Whats the name of the app u use for reading manga on the vita ?

Is it possible to mod physical copies of games with fan translations? Wondering be because I'm thinking of buying a Vita but will most likely buy my games the legal way. I like collecting and having physical copies of my games.
@@Husramash I think so, since mods/ fan translations are more like patch files that "update" the game, they aren't directly in the game file but in the files were patches and dlc are. At least to my understanding.
I mean if you have the money you can buy physical but it is really expensive, with some game copies being sold for wayyy over price by private sellers, ofc you can get lucky but still.
You still need to mod/jailbreak the vita system to be able to mod your games tho
Hope this helps, any more questions and I'll answer them
@@A8EL Thank you for your reply and taking your time explaining!
I would, but I have only Vita 😂
Great video, appreciate you sharing your thoughts. Sony is to blame for the expensive proprietary memory cards which naturally led the modding community to find the exploit for hacking. I vaguely remember hearing from Colin Moriarty's podcast where he interviewed a developer at Sony stating that the exploit created a big risk for them which was one of the reasons why they stepped away from supporting it. Again, that was one of the reasons, but to them it was the number one reason.
What is the name of the 1st game.? S
Icing & jumping (on 6:16). Thanks

@@Nyxson thanks
my favorite handheld of all time ❤ love my oled vita
The vita 2000 modded gets the lcd saturation vpk, it really makes the screen difference between the 1000 and 2000 barely noticeable
The fact that it plays PS1/PSP games natively would have been huge in this day and age compared to how Sony's Backward compatibility works on the PS5
Also, Persona 4 Golden is considered by many to have been the Vita's killer app.
I've got a Vita!! I'm able to connect remotely with my PS4 console and continue gaming away from the TV!! It's amazing!!!
How would I be able to put 1tb on my vita ? I’m doing this project and I want to add every game I played as a child (it’s a lot of games) and I would like to have 1tb
Find 1Tb micro Sd card, get sd2vita adapter, enjoy every game ever...
@@Nyxson Thank You So Much
I am currently enjoying Monster Hunter Frontier Z, on a private server. With all the homebrew android ports and streaming options, this system is the best you can get for the price, imo.
I'm Playing Monster Hunter Freedom Unite . I was Also Playing frontier But Unistalled ..I Had the English patch But Idk Man The Japanese To Confusing
Yes I have ps Vita right now I played and enjoy all day ❤️
Modded mine today. Super easy to do. And you do not need Sony sd card anymore
Great video, Very helpful !!!
Recently I bought xCom, and had a blast with the game on the little console, so comfortable to play on the way.
I own a lot of vita😊. I even completed the playstation handheld evolution from the pocket station to the ps vita slim
Not first but I like seen the audio issues been fix :)
Yeah, it's happened twice already. Gotta check my settings more carefully
@@Nyxson I read that comment, this would be the 3th time. Happens to everyone, even on the most simple of videos like music channels.
I remember trading most of games to GameStop to get a PS Vita, but I honestly didn’t like it and donated it to a kid who’s house burnt down within a month or two.
Poor taste
@@HollowRick Cope
I feel so bad for the Vita. It honestly was ahead of its time. If it came out today as it is, it would be on par with the switch
This would have been so good if they continued it
I am thinking about getting the ps vita only to play Minecraft ps vita edition. I am a sucker for big games on old consoles with lower quality for some reason.
Can you play metal gear solid 4?
Do you need a playstation console to use the psvita or can you just buy the psvita and buy games for it?
You don't need anything else. You can buy games directly from Vita but I think you can do it with only by topping up an account balance.
And you can also use PKGj.... Google it
Whats the game hes playing on 3:16 ? Looks like fun😭
It's Geometry Wars 3
I love the slim model of the vita just seems like the better model for hacking
I have a 512gb in mine and it works fine. Brought it on a trip last week and was playing Amiga games raising a few eyebrows of onlookers.
I want to buy a psp because i dont understand how to play games on psvita. How can i play fifa and gta on psvita?
No console selling games? My man, it has p4 golden, enough said
Love it have the first version 16 g card that I play full 50 year franchise of madden 13 I updated the roster to 2024 yea neat right love it
what the name of the first game? ty
The first game? The first game appearing in the video is Grand Theft Auto San Andreas
@Nyxson 3:18. What name of the game?
It's Geometry Wars 3
They should not have listened to all those people and other greedy companies saying cellphone games were the way of the future and that console games were dead. They wanted cheaply made games with as much microtransactions and loot boxes that can be made as quick as possible.
I never got a ps vita due to financial limits now I'm grown up should i buy it? In 2023?
Just got mine today for 100 bucks came with a carying case a plastic vita cover and 2 games and a charger all for 100 bucks on fb
Well said I hope someone at Sony watch this video.
Not enough multiplayer games either and when it was the lobbies be dead so biggest let down
Here goes, hope the battery doesn't explode after not charging it for 7 years...
Well, it didn't do it for me when I picked it back around a year ago
I agree with you seems like PlayStation always has their head up there but.... so much lost potential for us the players but also revenue for them😂... but yeah I have Nintendo switch but I might get a Vita just because I heard you can download like everything and a bunch of emulators or something... Got to run, I'll come back later to finish the vid
Are there voice overs or just text?
What do you mean?
@@Nyxson The games. Are there voice overs or just text dialog?
Depends on the game of course, some have some don't, just like on every other platforms
Good. Thank you.@@Nyxson
Good vid
There was actually a monster hunter game for vita is the frontier, big hit in asia, and it had cross saves with ps3
Literally thinking of buying one
I got a new one imported from playasia a couple of years ago, no regrets
One word… rather two… Steam Deck.
Here's another two… Nintendo Switch…
@@NyxsonThe Nintendo switch is not exactly the same concept, it has a plus value compared to a cellphone. The Steam Deck sold around 1,62 millions units in 2022. Compare that to the PSP that sold 80 millions back in the day. The point ? It has become too niche, mobile consoles don’t sell as much as before and my theory is because of cellphones and other entertainment sources like social media. It would be too risky or not profitable to a big company like Sony to invest in a market that is in decline.
i wish i have a ps vita it look very cool as psp 3000
Hold up. Is the Vita DLC or a Disk reader(UMD) or both?
It has card reader and digital games. UMD is for PSP
The Vita had no disk reader
Great video still play my oled bita every day 👌👌
Amazing console though would be better without the touch screen it constantly spazzes out and most games don't need touch controls yet use it anyway like god of war or metal gear solid.
Buy second yesterday
Is there a easy way to mod?
Yes! You literally can do it with browser on Vita itself. It is extremely simple, just google it or look on TH-cam
th-cam.com/users/shortsXdhG4oO4qPM?feature=share i followed the steps in this video super easy
uh ok that took me by surprise, the fact you straight up gave an answer i mean i'll watch the rest but thank you for the straight up answer
How can I get Mario NES without pc
Without PC? I doubt you can. You need to record ROM somehow.
Wish i kept my oled, i have a brand new slim still though

Does the PlayStation Store still work on the Vita? If not, then I'm not buying one.
It does work... but why?! You will jailbreak it anyway...

True… and now they are doing it to their PC market and will blame it on the PC Players
I think I would buy it just so I can play the game I want to play and my wife can still hold onto the tv lol
If the games you, are on vita, or you are a retro gamer, then this is a must for you
PSP amd PS VITA are consoles waaay ahead of their time.
how did you get gta on it
I modded vita and installed homebrew (in case of GTA it uses Android roms)
It only failed because Sony did not want it even from the beginning of handhelds years it was a burden to them
The more i play my vita the more appreciate it. I dunno why hahhah i love it 😅
I got the ps vita 2000 but i don't mind as long as i enjoy the games i like on it, its good enough for me
