We are so excited to share our first honeymoon vlog in the Dominican Republic with all of you! Stay tuned for the other honeymoon vlogs. Day one was great but it keeps on getting better!😏
The editing, the music, but above all the LOVE between you guys shining through the screen was PRICELESS. THX for sharing such a special moment with us🤎🤎🤎🤎
Thank you so much, Kenisha, always for your thoughtful and sweet comments! We were just so happy to be in the DR finally for our honeymoon. It was so fun to edit this vlog and reminisce ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi, you can adjust the temperature in the indoor jacuzzi to be cold, warm, or hot, but the pool upstairs outside was not heated. It was the same temperature of the other pools on the resort. We didn't swim in it though because it was dirty and they never came to clean it when we called.
Aww thank you! But no, you don’t have to make any reservations for any of the restaurants on the resort except if you want hibachi at the Japanese restaurant Spice.
@@humanfairy Hey again and no worries! In our opinion the food wasn't bad. The food just tasted different from what we were used to tasting in the U.S. so for example, pad Thai at the Asian restaurant, tasted nothing like pad Thai that we get at home in NYC but it tasted good. There are so many restaurants though and it is all inclusive so you can honestly try all the items on the menu and I'm sure you will find something you like.
Hello and Congratulations!!! My husband and I are looking at this resort and room for our anniversary next year, what are your overall thoughts about the room? I am assuming that you will give your thoughts about the resort in your future vlogs but I would like to know your general opinion about that as well.
Hi Malorie, we highly recommend this resort. Every staff member we encountered was super friendly and helpful! The vibe was very relaxing and we got to meet several amazing couples there. The food was different compared to what we are used to but it was still good. It just tasted nothing like the dish if you ate it in the states if that makes sense. Drinks were also good. In terms of the room, we liked it but honestly, only chilled up there together once and that was the night before we were leaving to go home. It was nice having the rooftop for pictures and the ocassion (i.e. our honeymoon), but we personally wouldn't get that room again if we were to return since we didn't actually use the space. One of the swim up suites would probably be our choice. And we do plan to return as we did have a great experience and felt like we made friends with some of the bartenders and waiters. Overall, the resort lives up to its name--excellence!
Yes, we would say it is worth the money. We just did not use the rooftop that much and did not swim in the upstairs pool at all but views and vibes were worth it. if you feel like you and your spouse would use that pool or chill up on the rooftop a lot then it is worth it but otherwise, for us, if we were to go there again, we would choose the swim-up room.
We think July is a great time! We went in late August and it wasn’t overly hot or humid in our opinion. It was just right if that makes sense. Our room/this resort is right by the beach so it was very breezy so even if it is hot, there is always a nice cool breezy to complement it 🤗
We definitely recommend for a honeymoon! You and your spouse will love it. Unfortunately, we only left the resort once to go on an excursion so we didn't get to experience the city life or nightlife. On the resort, however, they do have different night time entertainment options (e.g. silent disco, Dominican band, karaoke, etc.). You can see clips of these events on other honeymoon vlogs here: th-cam.com/play/PL4fqh77D-JuNlaTsB5n7nV9GCOEjLEXb0.html
No. We went at the end of August/early September 2021 so not sure if it has changed now but you did not need a vaccine then. You just have to get a PCR test to return to the US and they offer it free at the resort. 😊

We’re either of your private pools/jacuzzi heated like the one on the roof or the one outside the bedroom?

amazing . What building are you guys in ?
We were in building 9. It was right across from the ocean and specifically the excellence club beach area.
Looking into booking this room for our honeymoon as well! Would you say it was worth the money?

We are thinking about going for our anniversary in July. Was it really hot and humid?? Do you recommend not going in the summer months?

How was the food and resort from 1-10
My hubby and I would give them a solid 8/8.5! The food was good. We had no real complaints. The flavors were different but not bad! 😊
@@lifewithtrenel Thanks For the insight👍
