I think the hidden aspect for Xinth is probably the aspect of Valkyrie, where it is giant pair of wings. Or the aspect of Evangelion, where it is just a giant mech that gives you depression.
Calling it now, prometheus saw the future and discovered that the best way to help defeat chronos is to join his side. He's secretly sabotaging plans while appearing as if he's fighting for chronos.
Hecate does mention that while Prometheus is holding the line for people to get up Olympus, but he isn't advancing past that point. Could be that him being there is convincing Chronos that he doesn't need to send a real threat up there
i think at may also be the only way to challenge the way gods think. we clearly see that they ignore mortals and their desires, while Prometheus and Chronos highlight gods' selfishness. i reckon that in the ending gods will change their line of thoughts regarding mortals (also the whole Arachne storyline supports the "gods are in the wrong")
@elmedreyn9941 and hey if he gets a little revenge as a bonus while potentially making things good for the mortals.....That's always nice! (Seriously I love how pretty much all the gods I've seen, don't own just watch cause Money, are all "yeah no him being on the other side makes sense.")
I do think it is kind of a bummer that we now have 4 "event" gods. I get that accessing Hades as a full god would not make sense when he is literally imprisioned, but Athena, Dionysos AND Artemis being event gods does bum me out a bit
Love the hexes, some like wolf howl can become pure cheese by the end when you get guaranteed crits and massive i-frame windows but I like it's a thing where if you don't want to invest in it most of em still do something, and if you do i think all hexes have a nice use-case 27:17 so this is a thing with the aspect where i think (not sure) the shield actually puts up a shield instead of making your front half invincible, so if any attack clips through due to being too close, you get hit. Feels bad, always move opposite to whatever you're blocking imo
what I've found to be particularly powerful with the coat is to hold attack to get your shield, and then before the full charge auto-fires press the dash button while holding charge. Mel will instantly dash attack without spending magick on an omega move the way she normally would after holding block, so you can abuse the block combined with dash i-frames for a really REALLY elusive and defensive strategy without sacrificing DPS because of how many dash attacks you're continuing to put out I've yet to get this with the hammer that auto fires your special on block, but I HAVE had it with the multi-hit dash attack hammer and the 25% chance to autofire special per attack hit, so those two combined gave a similar experience to special on block in terms of rockets output and it was very strong, that build carried my first Prometheus kill edit: haha they actually got that combo in this video, they didn't utilize it in that way tho since this was an omega attack run
In my experience, muenster cheese is really good on hot sandwiches. It melts nicely and it's got a good savory taste. For cold sandwiches, gouda is my go to. I love gouda, i used to get a whole block of the stuff to eat for lunch at school.
My take on plot speculation: Whatever big showdown is after Prometheus, is the "big thing" Chronos is cooking up that the rest of the cast keeps talking about. Prometheus is deeply connected with it, and Dora will be the key to victory - the unassuming little ghost retains key memories of Prometheus, and will save the day at one point. As of the Fates, I bet they are connected to Hypnos. In fact, I predict they are hidden right under our noses - in his dream. Hecate managed to save him for a reason, and I assume he's the Chekhov's gun that will turn out to hold the Fates imprisoned without even knowing about it, or at least not being able to do anything.
I love how when you pick the Athena dash, Athena says something along the lines of "Yes, your brother loved that one". I wonder which other gods we can meat the closer we get to the peak
The song from the Dio's room reminded me a lot of David Bowie's Blackstar! Don't know why, maybe de chord progression or something like that. The Polyphemus battle song also reminds me a lot of Blackstar too!
I already got the best Nyx build. On my first run I got the heroic Chaos boon that turns off your arcana in exchange for channel speed. What I didn't know is that when you use that chaos boon it keeps your DDs and activates Judgement so I got 6 other arcanas and was channeling the omega boost near instantly
Found a sprint build with Xinth that I've been having a lot of fun with: Aspect of Nyx Breaker Sprint Beach Ball Born Gain (can play into Golden Rule; Chaos can decrease the cost of the nightspawn explosion, so you might get a gold increase boon while looking for that) (Nitro sprint highly recommended) Although it's not as satisfying as Boated's Thunder Sprint build, it's definitely easier to get Happy sprinting :)
Also athena's keepsake is really really strong. Getting a guaranteed epic boon from her, where almost all of her boons are really good even as commons is amazing. I've had a broken AF build with her cast boon on Charon's axe; You're practically immortal with these 2.
It's so fun, and it also makes Chronos' instant kill attacks so stressful. Sure I've dodged them countless times, but knowing that messing up positioning just once ends the run is exhilarating

it is super strong but the problem is that engraving pin is ULTRA busted. it is almost not talked about how busted this keepsake is. because 10 seconds mint condition +stacked mint condition means that your almost invul for entire room especially when your good enough to tell how long each room is by experience. you can basically tank hits on purpose. yes they nerfed mint condition but at the end of the day, it's synergy still exists.
Don't sleep on Hestia's new "Hot Pot" boon, though. The amount of dodge that you can get against targets with scorch is pretty hilarious! I'm going to try a max dodge build with that + Wispy Wiles, see how it goes.

Olympus is so tanky that it feels like i need the armor hammer on Xinth, the Medea curse that cuts armor in half, and Hephaestus's armor buff just to deal enough damage
I'm really enjoying the new patch, but haven't found either new familiar. I'm also interested in a discussion of the new keepsakes, I thought I could use Athena's to force her into the underworld, but that didn't work.
i feel like death defiances are kinda weird now. Strength is stronger then death defiances but engraving pin is now only keepsake that makes death defiance still worth using.

So i feel like while it is different to see an olympian as an encounter/event room, i think for these 3 (Athena, Dio, Artemis), it was kind of expected? Because i think the gods don't lend themselves too well to new kits, for example what would Athena's attack look like that doesn't resemble the old version? Same with Dio/dots and Artemis/crits. Even in their current form they still kept the same attributes and even some boons(pp, divine dash, trippy shot). I think it's better like this because while you don't see them as often at least it doesn't feel lame having similar boons to the first game, and even if the boons still have the same elements, they feel more novel
And i feel like Ares could be a full run god, since the theme of war isn't as restrictive as defense, but could also be an event type somewhere on the down path

I adore Xinth, but I feel like the attack charge-damage ratio is super jank. Either the damage needs to be doubled and it's outright OHKOing enemies, or the charge is faster. It's a cool move, but the commitment to charging isn't working. And you can't dash with it to extend the range at ALL.
I like this new weapon so far. People say its too broken but i find it balanced cuz you gotta get really close with enemy and attack feels clunky. Special is a good support tool but you probably cant do an optimal build based on special alone. Charon Axe and Artemis Daggers are still on top for me. Chaos black coath is my third favorite tho

It’s definitely strong, but they added a lot of synergy for having DDs, so I think it’s fine. It’s nice having an alternative to eternity for once

Build suggestion: Any torches (preferably Moros), Weed Killer, Born Gain, pick up Cinerary Circle from Hades, and fill the House of Hades with urns.
I have not noticed the Selene curse working for Origination, maybe I'm just not observant enough, but I don't think it counts.

I'm assuming they will adding boons to the single serve gods, perhaps transitioning to the god pool when they fill out.
Based on Athena's keepsake unless they completely rework it I doubt they change how she works, though they might give her more boons.

the damage output on this new weapon is like 2x or 3x compare to every other weapon.
