Super spammable at 15 magic cost, charge quickly, you can move while charging, and they actually track correctly. I forget the boons but I did have two hammers specifically for the specials.
I think I'm fine with the long "launch" time but yeah the weird upward trajectory that they use makes them clink too much. If they just like popped up then shot straight down like the omega skull attack did they'd probably do a little better
Skill issue lol, my best and fastest runs are with guan yu special builds. I completed like 32heat , thanatos achievement @ 20 heat and my fastest run at 15mins with it 😂😂
My favorite so far is running Flame Strike with aspect of Selene. Once you can get the upgrade for the hex that grants the effects of your basic attacks to it it SHREDS enemies with scorch.
That was my favourite build. But I think the new update kinda nerfed the scorch rate to the point you actually need the boone (increase scorch rate speed) for it to be viable. Idk if it was just me but I think the build was better before the new update. Still love the update though
The Selene aspect feels a little weird to use. You've gotta use up your magic to get the Hex online, but then the Hex only helps you if you use more magic to do Omega moves. That and i am not a big fan of the Omega's on the coat. It can do crazy damage, but it takes a lot of work to get it there
there is an upgrade to the hex (epic level ofc) but that mark one random enermy in the room with the debuff each time you use the omega moves itself, so ti's quite neat. I am to get it up asap for clearing smaller rooms, and it's consistent on bosses as well
@@og2hot the ones that lead inside buildings, I mean. In contrast to the "outside portals", the ones that have an icon of a mountain, and, when used drop you out of the sky with that landing circle.
I did my first Prom kill with Hestia's Legendary. It was quite awesome. All his aoe dot abilites you take only 1 damage from and he chases you all over the arena so the fire trail just eats away at him.
I had a pretty good dash run with this aspect and Poseidon's dash. One cool thing is that the dash charge counts as an omega move so you can boost its damage with chaos boons and the one Charon well item. There's a weird interaction with the omega dash and Poseidon's dash where you can't consistently get both effects to hit at the same time if the omega charge is ready when you first run into an enemy, but you can just bump them with the dash right before the charge is done to work around it.
Using Poseidons dash is amazing with this aspect. It forces you to crush into opponents, requires more mana or a good way to regain it. But you can get up to 350 per smash, before poms.
I did a focused attack run with Aphrodite on it and Apollo on the special and the hammer that gives you a probability of launching specials while punching was SO good
First time winning with Xinth (aspect of Nyx, Underworld run), I basically got the old Fists support fire build with the attack: -Volcanic Strike and Stamp Rush (would work even better with special too) -Support Fire -Launcher Frame hammer (specials trigger from attacks) -Static Shock (+master conductor) It was very fun and a little glass cannony, but still decently strong
Hi man. Yeah, you're crazy :) Romantic Spark had an incorrect description since it was/is a multiplicative +100% multiplier to blitz damage. Looks like they fixed that.
Aspect of Selene is actually pretty good as well, but the issue is it happened in the same update where they removed inherent time slowdown on omega moves *and* added olympus which is significantly harder than most anything else. It makes for a great cast build for example (and activating night also activates moon, so that's nice) and i just did 32 fear underworld with it, but until i got the silver wheel zone 3 i was struggling bad like all DDs lost, and while echo didn't refund the DDs the time slowdown legit carried all the way till the end. I do think the xinth base kit needs some love though, like maybe either 5-10 more power on the attack or faster block initiation, and specials need way more travel speed and perhaps +1 rocket but the damage gets brought down slightly. It's interesting they played it safe with xinth's power level though since the rail was absurd (but since i didn't play early access maybe the rail was a bit underpowered on launch too? Idk)
I've just tried Xinth and went for a full Zeus build for blitz and the daedelus upgrade which throws a special when you attack so it felt like Artemis' old build. I get the feeling Haephestus will work well too
I’ve been using this build with the aspect of Nyx and getting excellent results with it. Heaven Strike -> Glamour Gain -> Smolder Ring These core boons will unlock all the respective duo boons and will pretty much melt everything. Pyro Technic is also must have to increase the scorch damage. The combo goes like: omega boost into enemies to get Nightspawn. Apply blitz with the double strike, dash to activate blitz, blitz activation adds scorch per Zeus Hestia duo and scorch infinitely with Aphro Hestia duo. For the 4th god, Apollo for heartthrob if you want more damage (unnecessary imo) or Hera to get King’s ransom for more giga blitz damage.
I had a great run today using poseidon's sprint combined with dash attacks off aphrodite boons. Got the daedalus hammer that gives you double dash attacks and mostly had aphrodite and zeus boons after that. Poseidon/ aphro duo boon was AMAZING with all the stuff i took from aphrodite. Super fun and satisfying run.
i think they need buff hermes shrine. it offer 0 boons and you get almost 0 boons after area 2 and 3. so whatever your build is after area 1. that all you get the entire run. it feels a bit bad to miss 1 core boon and not be able to roll any boons because of how weak hermes shrine is. missed hermes shrine at 31:20.
It would be really funny if Xinth's special was Mel going into a breakdancing routine for an AoE while EDM/Synth music is playing in the background just for the move.
You have to peel the shells off shrimp I believe because there are certain ways you cook them with the shells on (& then peel them cooked). Or that might just be crawfish 🤣
haven’t unlocked either aspect yet but off reading descriptions nyx definitely appeared better to me but I guess I’m going to have to try Selene out lmao
explosive intetnt is very strong with multi hit omega like the coat omega special and axe omega attack especially than's, probably insanely good with pan too
Honestly I've had the best runs with base Xinth or Selene but I ignore omega moves almost altogether. Try to proc the Hex for the curse and that's it. Nyx feels too clunky for me. Sprinting for this long to get like 5 seconds of, what, 25% more dmg? I'd rather pummel with attack and get similar effect within the time it takes to proc it.
I find it useful to rush into a large crowd, explode in the middle of all of them, and then shred with the extra projectiles. When the buff runs out, dash back out and omega special the survivors.
Gorgon amulet: Athena can appear in any encounter if you have no death defiances her blessing rarity depend on keep sake rank. Fig leaf: Encounters have a 50% to have no enemies, this can occur 1-3 times per run based on keep sake rarity
Athena's keepsake gives you athena encounter if you don't have any DDs, Dio keepsake has a 50% chance to make an encounter be empty (it puts a disco ball on your head for that room too) 3 times per night at max rank.
I can see one more zone after Olympus that's like, pure Cosmos or something. I believe they also said they intend to have a *third* path, which will almost certainly be made out of remixes of the other two paths, but that would probably be post-release content.

The special really needs to get buffed, those missiles take way too much time to hit the target and most of the time hits terrain and stuff.
I think my main issue is that the missiles will often straight up miss enemies or clink on walls and stuff. They need some love no doubt.
For being divine homing missiles, you'd expect them to do a bit more damage than tickles.

Guan Yu special is literally a better exagryph special with the rocket hammer.

Xinth's guard is pretty inconsistent, I think you can't block ground shock waves; which is ironic because you're flying?
The axe had the same issue when it could still block
blocks never seem to woek against explosions/shockwave type things
also you cant seem to block all of eris's shotgun shots if you're too close

I believe Dionysus can only show up when you choose interior doors in Olympus, at least that's how it's been for me, found him two times already.

i found hestias magic gain on aspect of nyx kind of slayed i didnt have to worry about magic at all

Yesterday I went into the shop and Nem ALREADY BOUGHT SOMETHING THERE like girl.......I didnt even have the chance to know what was there lol
The concept is fuckin goofy and great. Does need a little TLC, much like the other weapons previously.
This weapon suffers from sliding effect too much. Just slightly increase the movement speed and you can't seem to brake at will.
Have not tried it much but when I got explosive intent on axe... Each spin did the DMG and it felt good for just upfront cost

The coat spesh can get really good if you get the ricochet hammer and put hera hitch on it, cleared 16 heat underworld for me pretty easily
