I'm late to the party but wanted to share a story; My best friend of 8 years got me into anime with the original Berserk. We actually met through the game Dark Souls 3, which for those who might not know yet, is part of a great series inspired BY berserk! anime she's honestly the most important person in my life right now and has been for a very long time. I forget if Forces was in the original anime or a later version, but we would laugh at the lyrics because of a youtube comment that said "Honey and 4 cents", which was so funny to us as English speakers because of how well it ryhmes with the lyrics. honestly though we've always loved the song for being awesome for being in Berserk. I actually learned a lot about writing from Berserk and the psychology behind anti-hero characters, and it opened the door for other works I got to experience down the line, such as Claymore, Vampire Hunter-D and others that imo are classics. We were both kinda sad when we heard the author died. Mad respect for Miura! Anyway, this cover and the song in general give me a lot of nostalgia and more importantly, energy. idk how to explain it but im in a dark place and this song reminds me of what im fighting for so to speak. what i want to hold onto and maybe memories i want to make more of. I don't usually smile just by hearing a song, but this one really does it for me
