I've seen/heard so many remixes of this. This actually retains the "hardness" of the original.
Agreed. I always love listening to covers of my absolute favorites and feeling them out. I mean that literally. When you mentioned hardness, I don't think you realized how true that was literally. I have a form of synesthesia that causes me to experience everything as touch and motion, and the best way I can describe this cover's literal feel and texture is a hard slab of dark steel covered in crushed blue diamonds: gritty, cold, electric, and solid.
I think this is the best metal cover I’ve ever heard of this song. It’s distinct in it’s own way with the riffs while also maintaining the that synth hook with, a bagpipe??

Been a person who allways missed Berzerk and Guts in any form. Seen so many sad comments about the series unfortunate end, but all thoose bad feelings were washed away seeing you singing this gem.

I'm late to the party but wanted to share a story;
My best friend of 8 years got me into anime with the original Berserk. We actually met through the game Dark Souls 3, which for those who might not know yet, is part of a great series inspired BY berserk! anime she's honestly the most important person in my life right now and has been for a very long time. I forget if Forces was in the original anime or a later version, but we would laugh at the lyrics because of a youtube comment that said "Honey and 4 cents", which was so funny to us as English speakers because of how well it ryhmes with the lyrics. honestly though we've always loved the song for being awesome for being in Berserk. I actually learned a lot about writing from Berserk and the psychology behind anti-hero characters, and it opened the door for other works I got to experience down the line, such as Claymore, Vampire Hunter-D and others that imo are classics.
We were both kinda sad when we heard the author died. Mad respect for Miura!
Anyway, this cover and the song in general give me a lot of nostalgia and more importantly, energy. idk how to explain it but im in a dark place and this song reminds me of what im fighting for so to speak. what i want to hold onto and maybe memories i want to make more of. I don't usually smile just by hearing a song, but this one really does it for me
