Forcesを初めてCM番宣で聴いたとき総鳥肌立ったの今でも覚えてる。CD化されるのが待ち遠しかった。

This might be my favorite version of Forces 1.5. Those synthesized strings add a powerful, sinister tone to the song, and really help to sell the darkness of Guts's journey.

そんな中、平沢さんの追悼メッセージを読んで、ようやく軽い気持ちになれました。平沢さんありがとうございます。
今敏監督も、三浦先生も亡くなってしまって寂しいですが、平沢さんの音楽と共に彼らの作品も語り継がれていくと思います。

暗く汚くて泥泥した感じのあのアニメを
ちょっとわかる。内容が血泥臭いだけに、絵が奇麗になるとなんか魅力が半減しちゃう感じがするのよ。新しくて美麗な映像は決して悪いことではないんだけど、それが最善とは限らないのよね。あの年代のあの画だからこそ映えるってモノもあるもんだ。
