I know this is straightforward stuff for any machinist, but I still find it very impressive. The great chips, the deep cuts, the full & proper use of the machine's feed, etc. Sweet!
Great video, thanks for sharing! I have a Hendey that is a bit older than the one you're using in the video. Other than the brute force and rigidity of the old girl, my favorite thing is that there's no need for a threading dial. Second favorite feature would be setting a stop on the feed bar which disengages the feed automatically. Great for boring or threading deep into a hole.
