Nice to see the rod action. Tip, try mackerel head with guts on a two hook running ledger. Cast to your left close to the shore. Set the drag and keep your rod down low. Good sized bass where you are!
Thanks bait digger. I try to find different venues to fish, but I do like it down there. I want to have a go off the little beach in Yarmouth, right next to the harbour. Have you fished there before👍👍
I didn't even know you had a channel. Seen you comment in a lot of live streams, but I don't recall you promoting your channel. This video popped up in my recommended today, so I spent the morning watching some of your recent content. Liked, subscribed and turned on notifications for when you go live again. Can never have too many fishing channels to watch 👍👍
Hey buddy, yeah I don't really do the shout about it, if the mods or whoever live want to drop the link then obviously I appreciate it, I don't think half the people I watch in the lives even realise😂😂😂, thanks for subbing dude, I'm no pro fisherman, total novice, just really enjoy it, and wanted to share the process of hopefully some progress. Had so much help from people, with advice and tips, the support and feedback has been great. Hope you enjoy👍👍🙏😁
I don't know about that kev, bit of beginners luck I think😂😂. I'll come last next time round, it's hounds, and my biggest to date is about 1lb. Thanks for your comments buddy, I do appreciate it🙏
Hi Robin, that's good to hear, if you want to ping me an email, I'll be more than happy to let you know some of the marks local to me. My experience is limited, but I'll help out anyway I can👍👍
Thanks bass man, first of the year, hopefully not the last. Was really nice to see something different come out. I know it was only 41, but can't wait for one a little bigger👍
@@FrugalOutdoors You certainly deserve a big one for putting the time and effort in the Bass are showing allong the Sussex Coast now late but lookin good
Good video mate love the enthusiasm at catching dogfish can tell you've not been doing it long.lol.nice to see you're catching a few keep up the good work i look forward to the next one.👍👍
Hey Chris, is it that obvious🤣🤣🤣. Can't help it mate, I'm just happy to catch anything, it's only now I can start to tell when it's not a dogfish from the bite and fight. I'll get there. Thanks for watching dude 😁👍
@@FrugalOutdoors haha no worries mate i've been fishing just over 40yrs and still get a buzz when i see that rod tip twitch. whether its boat, shore or carp fishing it never gets old i guess thats what gets us hooked.pardon the pun.lol.tight lines mate.
Hey Dave, thanks mate. Yeah it's really easy launch there, Colwell even more so. We had a 12ft dinghy with a 10hp on it for a little while, we used to put it in the van, and launch from colwell🤣🤣🤣
Thanks Gary, been pretty fortunate last few sessions now, nothing outrageously special catch wise, but I'll keep chucking bait out in the hope for that special fish. Cheers dude👍👍
Great video Dylan , see you are doing it right !!! It’s been tuff fishing most places this time of year as the winter species leave and summer species arrive, so good on ya for still pulling out the fish mate 👍🏼🎣🎣
Hey mate, yeah a few have said that, I think on the next trip I'm going to try and keep one close in. Went out again the other night, got massively hounded by the crabs. Seem to be a few hounds around, so want to target them, in the thinking possibly pick up a bass at the same time. Cheers buddy👍
@@lawrencebail3284 hey buddy, unfortunately mate, im not getting out again til next weekend, might get a sneaky one in next week. I've got some hardbacks in the freezer, but couldn't find any peelers. Will be up for a session though buddy. 👍👍👍
Me and my mates when there on Wednesday we got 5 dogs 2 smut's and 1 eel and about 20 spider crabs on 4/0 hook's using squid mate hope to get a bit of spinning in this week keep up the good work mate 👍
Jon dude👍👍, I went again on Monday, only managed a keeper spider. Lost so many hooks, thinking of going southside at the weekend. Chilton maybe to try and get away from the crabs. We're the hounds of any size. They are picking up pretty good ones over Portsmouth way. Cheers buddy👍👍👍🙏
The smut's were about 1/2 lb been getting them up Ryde pier but only about 5lb to 6lb on crab this weekend not looking to good For the weather hope to get next week do a bit of spinning and got a boat trip booked for next weekend with the lads hope the spider crab was good eating mate lol
If you want to cast 20per cent Further, simple just keep looking up 60 degrees when you cast and aim the lead up at 60 degrees and you will cast further, honest 🐟🐟🇫🇷
Thanks Howard, I'd be lucky to get the same angle everytime🤣🤣hopefully in time I'll get better. Thanks though buddy, I'll definitely give it a go next time👍👍
Hi bud u know you say your never happy with first cast do u not pre cast first..b4 I add a rig I always connect just a plain weight out as far as I can and then reel it in then do the normal of adding a rig and weight as it loosens the line on the reel and wets the line to pass through the eyes easier..just a idea..give a try and let me know if better..👍🏻
