🧑‍🚀 Visiting one of Europe’s biggest science museums and enjoying classic French food for lunch on a Sunday? Sign us up! Last weekend, we spent the day in Paris filling our brains at the Cité des sciences et de l’industrie and our bellies at the Bistrot Botza. For us, it’s hard to think of a better way to unwind from the work week. At the museum, we explored nearly every exhibit, and especially loved Mission spatiale (about space exploration), Précieux déchets (about the trash we produce), and C3RV34U (about our brains). Then we sat down for lunch at the Bistrot Botza where Jalen tried his very first tartare de boeuf (he loved it), and Maria’s croque madame campagnard (version végé) wasn’t too shabby either. We rounded out our day with a little marche digestive in the Parc des Buttes-Chaumont, just around the corner from the restaurant. It was as lovely as ever, even in the gray Parisian weather, and we love getting a glimpse of nature in the middle of the city. Do you like science museums? Have you ever tried tartare de boeuf? Let us know in a comment, and as always, don’t forget to like the video and subscribe to our channel!

Thanks for the new adventure. Wow! You guys are looking great, I don't recall so much self-expression the last few years. Actually, I feel like I'm recalling a lot of rings on Jalen.
You've definitely gone from "people living in France" to "people living in Paris." I could be tripping, I've missed the last few videos. Been busy on my end trying to assemble all the stuff for a 4-year talent.
The 19th kinda looks a little on the out-skirty side, maybe not so heavy on international tourism.
Although as a guy who had the nickname "The Hamburger Kid" that's gonna have to be a "jamais" on the tartare!

Thanks for watching! 🫶🏻🫶🏾 Ever since moving to Palaiseau last year, we’ve loved being in close proximity to Paris for our weekend outings. Best of luck with your residence permit!

@@the_francofile I'll never not be impressed with all you've accomplished as individuals and as a couple. It's really a unique journey. You sharing your lives will no doubt will help people you'll never hear from, but I want to (maybe repeatedly) let you never you've specifically shown me things that altered my path.
And I'll be cool, it seems like they deadlined student visas (weird!) Jan 1 for the ENTIRE year this year, but I convinced them to reactivate the one I was supposed to use a few months ago. My research indicates you're not supposed to be self employed on that one, so if worse comes to worse I'll go that way--but if I can get one, I'll do talent instead.

Love the video. It is always great to explore France through your perspective.
I just saw that there is a Costco in France, would ever consider going to check it out?
I know french apartments are not very big in terms of storage and the fridges aren't big enough either for a large amount of groceries 😅 but I am really intrigued to know what you would think of it in comparison to the ones in the US/Canada 😊

Hi, thank you for watching! We don’t buy our food in bulk, and we think doing a Costco trip when it’s just the two of us might result in some food waste! If we ever end up going, we’ll be sure to document the experience somehow.

Nice to see this..curious, do you guys ever miss Reims? Would you go back for a visit?

@Taldanmus Honestly, not really! If the opportunity to visit Reims came up we wouldn’t say no, but we aren’t exactly planning a trip there any time soon.
