Absolutely amazing. The amount of options you have is incredible, especially with the class items exotics. Can’t wait till they add more fragments and aspects to it later down the line.
I really love how powerful I feel with prismatic. But at the same time I really don’t like how powerful I feel with prismatic. I feel like it just power crept every other subclass.
Titan needs help. Its title as the melee class is being taken by Hunters now, due to Prismatic Titans lack luster choice of Aspects not able to keep up. Not to mention, it was by far the least used class in Day 1 Salvation’s Edge.
I have no idea how I'm going to un-teach my brain from using shoot to loot on my primary now. What an insanely helpful perk, especially with restoration, radiant, and eyes up guardian x7 all coming from a single orb.
Khvostov is literally such a good weapon that I refuse to use classes and builds that require using other weapons. On top of that, I feel like I really never even use my energy weapon and really only pull out my heavy weapon against bosses. This gun is an absolute monster and I am so glad that we now have prismatic to free us from having to commit ourselves to using energy weapons that match our class element in order to maximize subclass synergy. Khvostov is superglued to my hands and I couldn’t be happier.
What I need to know is: how nutty is Chromatic Fire with this gun and can we get an ornament that would make the exotic that is not an eyesore? BUNGIE PLS
After only using the Getaway Artist/Bleak Watcher build since launch, I was looking to put together a Transcendence focused build, and Khovostov is one of my new favorite exotic weapons, so this build is just what I was looking for!
Outbreak with nanites. Thorn or osteo with poison damage. Using currently on warlock with freeze turrets build and facet of command. As long as freeze is proc'ing on something you dont need to manually reload. Have way more transcendent than I know what to do with its wild.
Awesomw video. Should also be noted that higher health enemies will indirectly give you more transcendence energy due to you being able to deal more damage to them before they die. Even if enemies are being one-shot, the amount of energy you get is capped by their HP. This means Facet of Grace and similar fragments are necessary in low level activities
If you get the other fragment that gives you bonus energy for light/dark class pickups, it also chunks if you have a good way of generating them. Solar & Void in particular are massive... + destroying tangles work as well. If you have a good way of freezing things is a good pair with facet of command, which gives you Stasis shards -> a lot of dark energy + melee.
Just unlocked my warlock prismatic... now to get the exotic AR lol Honestly was trying to work out the best way to increase the transcendence uptime, cheers Toidi [and Llama] 😁
i’ve only used this gun in trials as a solo player cause shooting 3-6 bullets at spawn (so you’re closer to ricochet) then getting someone half and their teammate behind cover takes damage and is scared to peak-has been amazing
I wonder how transcendent damage is calculated, because if its based on each instance of damage then I feel like Thorn + Necrotics would be unreal with this fragment.
if only kinetics worked with verity’s brow 😭😭😭. i’m trying to a make a gunpowder HOIL-verity build but the easiest combo on hunter is a strand primary since i like running grapple. Maybe they’ll let you choose the catalyst in the future kind of like the old exotic so i can get osmosis or permeability (im coping 😭😭😭)
Does the ricocheting crit? If so, the warlock exotic robes no one uses which makes kinetic crit kills explode would be a cool fit. Might actually try that once I get back to my lock.
Anyone else just a little bit underwhelmed with Transcendence? The only T grenade I like is Warlock (which is fine, I'm a Warlock main) and it just doesn't feel too impressive or important to use.
Same I’m not sure why I’m supposed to use it as a Hunter main. The grenade is worse than my other ones and I can already loop my melee and dodge fine without transcendance. So for me it’s just… a small DR and damage bump I guess?
You get better and more fragments slots. Transcendence refill your nade and melee which might not be the best on hunter but its tremendous on warlock. You get to pick and choose supers/nade/melee which makes it so much more fun. On hunter I prefer the golden gun build though. Its a blast with on the hunt.

It’s a nice way to constantly have abilities at the ready since you get everything back going in as well as out of transcendence if you play around it It’s a free dmg boost and damage resistance even if it’s a small one. (More resistance with the fragment) And I like combining it with song of flame to make my own abilities come back even faster than they already do with it active and just slay out. When I come out of my super I’m usually still transcendent with a full bar and can continue to spam abilities. Also if you want to, the “Facet of Justice” fragment will make your song of flame ability kills cause enemies to explode on death Chain Reaction perk Style when combining your super with transcendence. between my super and transcendence I always seem to be juiced in one form or another on warlock. With khvostov there’s rarely a moment that I’m NOT transcendent ready. Prismatic warlock is just ability/super spam in its final form.
Ive tried it in two different modi and I dont like it that much. The weapon is a bit weak for my taste. The calls is just way better, has unstoppable and does leave the exotic slot open. But maybe Iam missing something. Maybe you can share your whole build.

Khostov is so freaking good i love it, carried me in the day one raid.
This thing is my current workhorse exotic. Great in PVE and also consistent in PVP, this with getaway artist arc soul and stasis turret. Amazing build

Eh different lanes ... Poison damage was outrageous if anything the fragment will get the nerf not the gun
You should try Witherhoard for transcendence. If you do a direct hit it’ll grant more no doubt

The bigest problem with khvostov is that it competes with microcosm for my exotic slot.
I would take the call every day over it. Especially since auto rifles have no perk this season. Its also extremely weak vs yellow bar enemies.
@@dominikb9202 yea been using thrcall a lot,especially in legend lost sectors as it stuns unstoppablr champs with 1 shot.

They can crit but it seems random, or maybe there’s a technique to it that I’m not noticing when it DOES happen.
I normally only run heavy exotics (Don’t know what legendary does good damage 😂) but Khvostov is just too smoooooooth not to use.
