@@CDOES Even so, it's surprisingly difficult to find good optic reviews that convey what its like to look through the optic. I bought one of these and absolutely love it. My only gripe, while minor, is I wish Sig would have put off clicks in between the reticle brightness settings. That way you don't have to turn the knob all the way to off instead of just turning the knob one click. Think Viper PST 2
This guy is the best by far on scope reviews. Thank you for all your hard work. Helped me get a Vortex Razor 1-6. Didn't need a whole lot of help but you certainly helped. LOL
@@CDOES Unfortunately, it seems like the price is creeping up as word gets out. When I first heard of this thing a couple months ago, you could find it under $250 all day. As long as it stays under $300, this thing should eat the Strike Eagle’s lunch for the foreseeable future.
They're releasing scope ring mount adapter's for RMR sized red dots soon! The ALPHA2 mount, installs in place of the top scope ring half. Thank you for the time you put into these!
So I am not an LPVO fan but I picked up a Nightforce ATACR 1-8x and Spuhr mount for my 77 year old mother. She loved it but said it was overkill for her. So I traded it in for this optic and she loves the reticle on this more. For what she does and she shoots often to stay active, this does rival 500-1000 price LPVOs. This was just as clear at my Nightforce and I liked the reticle better. Warranty is solid as well. You can’t go wrong with it. I use a 4000+ elcan on my shtf SBR.
C_DOES, your reviews are some of the best on the web. Well done Brother, thank you! Picked up one of these for $260 for a cheap build. For this price, can't go wrong. Thanks again!
Great review man! I love how you demonstrate the eye box and the fisheye effect which is something I feel most people don’t fully understand if they never own one. After your Whiskey5 1-5 recommendation for my 11.5, I expect this to be great as well. Perhaps not like Japanese glass, but a big bang for buck is always good, especially for a non super gucci build. Nice review! I watched this after watching your comparison of the Primary Arms ACSS Nova to a few other LPVO's in its price range. For me this SIG comes in second behind the PST. I tend to focus primarily on image clarity when comparing optics and this one is really good. I'd really like to see a comparison of the SIG to the newer Venom 1-6X24 because at this point, they are the 2 LPVO's I'm considering the most.
Wow, that 1x looks sooooooo much better than the 1x on my primary arms 1-6x sfp. Mine warps like crazy which messes with my depth perception so I have to dial it at 1.25... Might just pick this up if I can find it on sale.

Funny that everyone loves that the torque values for the mount are printed on the mount itself, yet I’ve heard so many people complain about vortex being tacky for doing the same thing on some of their rings. And vortex used a much smaller, less noticeable font than the one sig used. I do think the sig font should be smaller, especially on the body of the mount. To each his own, I guess.

Hi C, thanks for these videos! Just a heads up. I purchased this and the mount broke during my first indoor range session. I did torque to recommend specs and the picatinny rail section just broke during normal firing. Showing the scope off to my wife and it fell off the gun while she was shooting. Needless to say she was not impressed. Worked out for me though because I got the green light to buy quality. Scalar works mount and razor hd 1-6. Just thought I would share my experience.

Got it, but going to send it back. For me the fish eye is a little too much and the eyebox seems to be about the same as the Swampfox line of scopes 1-8 and under, but the Swampfox scopes have a very flat image. Still a good optic for the price though.
@@CDOES i think the best overall combination in the Arrowhead line is the 1-8 and the tomahawk 1-8 is nipping at it's heels. 1-4 tomahawk is a little wanting and the 1-6's in tomahawk and Arrowhead are roughly on par with the 1-8's but don't do anything better and lose 2x power. The field of view for both the 1-8's is pretty good at around I believe 125 feet at 1x. Love your content! Keep it up! Oddly a really good 1-4 to consider looking at is the truglo omnia 4.
I think ill make a video to answer that soon. Sub $300 its this. Sub $500 im still a fan of the RT6. But there are So many others I havent used yet. Sub $1k its the Stryker HD/Credo HX. $1500 - razor E
I just bought one instead of the vortex scopes for my coyote AR I hope I didn’t waste my money it seems like a very good scope for the price in this video
Love this lpvo. It's just so heavy. Lol but fantastic. If you're running suppressed at any lenghth barrel 556 or 300 and your talking like 11 12lb set up.
I'm torn between this, the RT-6, and the Arrowhead 1-6. Ignoring price which one would you pick? I prefer the reticle of the Arrowhead but have heard the eye box is more finicky on it.
The feeling of the 1-10 was Ok. If its of the same breed then the overall feel and finish goes to the RT6 followed by this then the Arrowhead. But if the arrrowhead has the reticle you want. Go for it! I dont think there are any bad options between those 3.
@@CDOES one other question which one has the brightest reticle? Those are the three I’m torn between. Also I saw cabellas has the Burris btr with prepr mount for 350. But swamp fox has 1x8 if I want. Thanks for a great Channel.
I just bought one of these scopes and I found the eye relief and image quality to be worse than my Primary Arms and Vortex scopes. I’m wondering if I got kind of a bad one or something. I’m debating sending it back but if it’s about normal I may keep until I get something better and sale it.
If you need a mount, this is too good to pass up for the combo. I'd get this if you weren't too sure of how lpvos work for you. And if they do. Save up to get something really nice and keep this for a plinker
I got one for $439.99 a week ago so, Ive learned a lesson on shopping around and really like this and thinking I may get the BDC8 reticle and am considering the Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8x24 FFP Rifle Scope. Any suggestions? Its for my Diamondback 300 blackout. Thanks for sharing!

Got it, but going to send it back. For me the fish eye is a little too much and the eyebox seems to be about the same as the Swampfox line of scopes 1-8 and under, but the Swampfox scopes have a very flat image. Still a good optic for the price though.
I'm trying to get my hands on more SF optics to compare against the 1-10
@@CDOES i think the best overall combination in the Arrowhead line is the 1-8 and the tomahawk 1-8 is nipping at it's heels.
Hey C_DOES. Love your videos! What are your top 3 LPVOs regardless of budget. Thanks in advance!
I think ill make a video to answer that soon. Sub $300 its this. Sub $500 im still a fan of the RT6. But there are So many others I havent used yet. Sub $1k its the Stryker HD/Credo HX. $1500 - razor E
@@CDOES This sig at $300 or the RT- at $350? I'm looking at picking up either as a budget option. Thanks!
Yes we need a review of the sig sauer 1-10x tango msr maybe compared to the swampfox arrowhead 1-10x
Its on the agenda. There is so much coming
I just bought one instead of the vortex scopes for my coyote AR I hope I didn’t waste my money it seems like a very good scope for the price in this video
So how did you like it?
@@georgelomas2894 I still have it on my gun and I have hit a steel gong with it out to 600 yards
That door open sound from Counter Strike (?) is definitely brilliant.
Slowly building up a soundtrack of all the good half life sounds. Along with my favorite mod
Love this lpvo. It's just so heavy. Lol but fantastic. If you're running suppressed at any lenghth barrel 556 or 300 and your talking like 11 12lb set up.
Which has the better eyebox? The burris rt6, or this sig tango msr, and which would you use based on track record?
did you ever find out? the Burris RT6 has a great eye box, but I havent got my hands on a Sig yet
Wow what a channel I stumbled upon. Holy shit excellent reviews!
Would u rather have this or the primary arms 1-6 that’s 300 bucks
Are you going to Test the 1-10 Version aswell?
I'm going to have to now. But I think it's pushing the limits of the optic with that much mag.
Mine came with a sig mount. For $340. Shall see how the mount stands up
The mount is excellent
Solid review. Thanks.
I just bought one of these scopes and I found the eye relief and image quality to be worse than my Primary Arms and Vortex scopes. I’m wondering if I got kind of a bad one or something. I’m debating sending it back but if it’s about normal I may keep until I get something better and sale it.
With a 400-500 budget which would you recommend? Sig Tango, Swampfox Arrowhead, or Vortex Strike Eagle
Tango by far. Especially because the tango msr ships with a mount included for usually less than $250
If you need a mount, this is too good to pass up for the combo. I'd get this if you weren't too sure of how lpvos work for you. And if they do. Save up to get something really nice and keep this for a plinker
Swampfox 1-10 or Vortex pst gen II 1-6 in that price range
Think im going to get it , was gonna get a vortex but they dont come with a mount . So Sig it is 👍
Your link goes to primary arms where they have it listed for $579.. europtic has it for $370.. how did you pay 250?
Love to see a review on the 1-10 and see what ya think about it
I got one for $439.99 a week ago so, Ive learned a lesson on shopping around and really like this and thinking I may get the BDC8 reticle and am considering the Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8x24 FFP Rifle Scope. Any suggestions? Its for my Diamondback 300 blackout. Thanks for sharing!
