Dunder seems so sweet. Glad this woman has a welcoming committee for foster cats, and he was able to help Mose come out of her shell. Kind of hoping for a foster fail here, as Dunder and Mose seem so connected.
On IG it says Mose is adopted with Dunder forever!
@@pyRoy6Yay 🎉🎊
Same, please don't give her up :( she will revert back to being shy again if she's ripped away from this loving home.
Oh good ♥@@pyRoy6
Like this cat, a lot of introverts get adopted by extroverts without their consent. I am thankful for friends who never gave up being my rock even though I'm shy and socially awkward. I have five calico cats now.
Dunder Is definitely in charge of the cat fostering program!
"It's not about me. It's about saving a life" such wise words, I hope all potential adoptive pet parents remember that. It takes time for a cat to form a bond and its not about you. Awesome video she seems like an awesome mom to her cats
It's not about me. It's about saving a life. Display that on shelter walls. This woman is a special kind of hero.
Everything is on their terms, not ours. Please, give cats as much time as they need. 🙏🙏🙏🐾🧡
Dunder is the MAN! 🤍🤍🤍😻
You know there’s cats all over that’re like, “yeah, I used to live with this one cat…. Dunder, man. Legend.”
Oktober 2022 I took in a cat that had the same level of shyness and today he is the biggest snuggle bug, follows me everywhere and really came out of his shell 😊
It's absolutely worth the work!
I need a human Dunder... In My life!! 😁
@@FuHackers-wx9lqI second that! 🙋🏻♀️
We adopted a shy boy too. I would sit in the room he was hiding in and just talk to him about anything so that he got used to my voice. Over time he began to trust me. He is a big black cat who was mistreated and finally rescued by the Humane Society. Benny is now a big lovable boy who likes to snuggle and be brushed. Patience and trust is key.
Sara gets the award for best foster Mom for troubled kitties on the planet! Bravo Sara!
They’re doing the kitty squish together expressive tail walk! 🥹 They definitely love each other ❤❤
Foster Fail? Oh, I do hope so!! Sweet Dunder and his little love, Mose.
Her excitement over Mose getting comfortable with her is awesome 😂😊
The cat is smart. They don’t trust until you take time to establish trust. It’s a survival mechanism.
She has the tiniest squeaky meow! I hope you keep her as she has really bonded with Dunder ♥it would be super stressful for her to be seperated from him.
I adopted a shy boy who was already a year old, along with a kitten he had bonded with. The kitten was game for anything, but Mr T would only come out at night for the first month we had him. Slowly he started peaking his head out around us. Now, 2 years later, he is the gentlest, cuddliest, sweetest cat I've ever had 😊
What a nice story, I'm so glad that this sweet little cat has found what looks like a great home. I hope for everyone's sake she's a foster fail!
I do too!
It's almost impossible to explain just how you feel once a very shy cat trusts you. All the time and effort makes it worth it
Good job young lady. Please, don't break-up these two cats. You and destiny, brought these two precious souls together. Bravo!
Pssst* FOSTER FAIL, PLEASE!!!
Dunder was a god send for this lovely woman! Animals that have companions in new and uncomfortable environments help them blossom SO much. Feeling like you're not alone can really speed up the process and this was just really lovely to see.
It seems the most SUCCESSFUL foster homes have a resident assistant animal, like Dunder. They can better speak the same language as the new critters and understand their emotional needs. Together with their human partner, they make an effective team.
As a severely shy person this makes me feel hope
When my shy and nervous Malcolm jumped onto my bed and wanted pets for the first time - i thought my heart would explode! So i know just what you mean. Wishing you many years of joy 😻
I love her facial expressions when Mose makes a breakthrough.
It looks like Dunder and Mose are in love 💕 I hope that fabulous lady keeps Mose 🙏😊✨️
Under and moses were made for each other maybe this will be a foster fail❤
That cat is just like meeeeeeee😭😭❤️
I adopted a 2 year old from a shelter. It took 2-3 weeks before she would come out from under the bed and she bonded with my other senior cat well. It took 9 months before I could pet her. I have had her a year and a half and she loves her pets but still runs when I approach her. She is only comfortable receiving pets in certain spots of the house under certain conditions. I shower her with love and toys and one day she will come around. I just love her so much. My friends think I am an angel, but I chose her and she is the perfect companion to my senior boy and that's all I could ask for.
Dunder is adorable 😊
Animals reflect their environment. Dunder is an awesome foster cat because Sara is an awesome foster mom.
Bravo Mose and Dunder and Mom!!!
What an amazing person for adopting the shy cat and having the patience to see the relationship through. Many thanks!
You poured out your heart and soul and received the same from Mose! With great patience and love! You have stolen a heart that waited a life time for you!! Thank you!!
Kudos to Dunder, and Mom of course.
Dunder and Mose is a true love story.❤️❤️❤️❤️ Thank you for giving MMose a chance. She seemed like a scared sweet girl from the beginning. God bless you🙏🙏.
You are so funny! That's why you are a foster...giving the babies the space they need!
What a wonderful story. Thank you, Dunder, your mom, and city kitties for saving that beautiful sweet soul.
🐈⬛❤🐈⬛
Wonderful. What patience!
What an adorable couple! ❤
Omg…those two are just precious…❤❤❤. I think they are definitely an adorable couple! Thank you, for rescuing her and giving her the time and space to become her authentic self!!!
I rescued a feral cat once. She was terrified of everything. It took me a year to get her in the house. Then I had her for 23; year's. Best cat ever. Adopt or foster us best.
My cat was extremely shy as a kitten with her litter mates. She was usually found hiding under something. When we brought her home she hid for a couple days but then she realized: no other cats in the house meant she was QUEEN CAT. She completely transformed. Suddenly she was in the middle of everything we were doing, patrolling the house several times a day, visiting each of us in turn, and always engaged with the day’s activities. She’s eleven now and still queen cat.
You guys….. That chirp at (2:06)
😻💘
Love this so much ! 😸😸😸❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing your story and adopting a cat that had been passed by. That is amazing. 🐈🐈🐈🐈🐈🐾🐾🐾🐾😺
Simply cute… mother understanding the child’s actions, giving time, being happy at small progress..
God bless u all
Thank you for giving her a chance to shine, and for saving her. They're just like hoomans in so many ways needing time, love, and tenderness❤
❤❤❤❤❤
Such a sweet story! Thank you for saving her!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
My late Larry was even shyer....he stayed in my closet for a month before he finally came out. I only knew he was still alive because he used the cat box and ate, He turned into a cuddly and very sweet cat...but it took some patience. Worth the wait.
Sara's expressions make this video.
This is just so sweet!!! Thank you for your commitment!!!! ❤
My cat hid for an entire year before she started to come out of her shell. It’s been 14 years now, and it’s amazing to see the progress she’s made. She’s such a lover-so much more so than my other two cats. She has the biggest heart. So long as she’s getting love and affection, she happy. I wish I were more more like her. She’s my greatest teacher!
Dunder convinced Mose that this human is trustable.
you never forget the first connection with a cat ❤
So precious ❤
I had a very scared and anxious boy that I adopted, and it took weeks for him to be comfortable with me, and another couple of months for him to sleep on my bed with me. Eventually, he trusted me 100%, and was an absolute sucker for pets at any time. He even loved belly rubs!
However, he was only comfortable with me, and no other humans or animals. After some time, my vet and I decided to try Prozac, not just for his anxiety, but also because he had asthma, and stress and anxiety can trigger asthma attacks. It was a game changer! He started being cool with other animals, and would play and groom my other cat, and would even be around strangers and sniff them! The things we do for animals!
It's an incredible feeling when you finally win them over... ❤ Thank you so much for rescuing her.
💓
Many blessings and thank you for fostering and helping these beautiful fur babies ❤😻❤😻❤😻
Sweet kitty kats!!! 🥰🎶❤️🎶❤️🙏🙏🙏🐈🐈🇨🇦
Such a sweet baby!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
❤❤
Gray tuxedos are very special cats
Dundee and Moses are best companions ❤❤❤
I'm glad you waited for her ❤
Adorable Dunder!❤
Dunder & Mose make a great cute kitty cat couple
That was SO CUTE- the delight on your face! I know just how you feel.
Animals are amazing.
Adorable! 😻
❤️❤️❤️
I love this especially dunder. I always adopt the older cats that are shy too. They get abandoned and abused so that's usually where the shyness comes from
Please tell me that this Dunder gets to keep “his” Mose?! 😍🥰
They are adorable
What a great story! Thank you for saving this beautiful cat❤
It's about all 3 of you the two cats and you not all people are as good as you
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Thank you all for Not giving up on cats ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Shyness is a terrible excuse as to why someone doesn't want to adopt a pet. I had me a black cat named Simba, and he was a real fraidy cat. He, along with his brother Jeffrey, were in an animal shelter, and both of them were sharing the same cage. When me and my mother saw both cats for the first time, we noticed that Jeffrey was a very active and social cat, while Simba was hiding in the dark crevasse of the cage. Despite this, we both instantly knew that were had the adopt them. And we were able to make it work, despite the fact that Simba was timid and easily startled cat.
Awe I love shy animals the most.. 😍😍😍
As a shy human, me and those cats connect 😂
I love these people! 🤗❤
It just takes a little patience and love for them to be able to trust us. 💗
Had the same thing with my boy. His sister took right to me. So I talked to him but didn’t touch and he got used to me being with me and the first time he makes me after the first two months I knew I was finally his. He still acts like he doesn’t need me until he wants cuddles or a game of fetch. He’s still not the most social after three years but he knows I love him and when he wants affection I give it. And he knows my lap is always open for business if he wants a rub or a nice place to nap.
Ur amazing people ❤❤❤ love your hearts 🥰
What a nice story. I have 3- rescues at the present time, and have always had rescues throughout my life. I miss the ones I've lost dearly, though.
I had a bookshop in Ohio wherein shelter cats were fostered and then adopted by customers. More than 50 were adopted from my shop over the years. I then wrote a series of novels about the experience (Shelve Under C: A Tale of Used Books and Cats is the first) to encourage other shops to look into fostering dogs, cats, rabbits, etc. The business that took over my location continued to foster, thankfully.
Beautiful
Oh my gosh, these two 🥰
💖💖💖
❤😊❤😊❤😊Aweee....they are adorable
I think other than cases of exceptionally feral cats (and there are degrees of wild behavior), I think it’s just a matter of time before shy or frightened cats come around… It may take three days, three weeks or even three months (or longer!) for them to begin to trust. And it can even change and improve over a period of years as they become more and more bonded! So to anyone in that situation, please be very, very patient! You will be rewarded in ways that you cannot imagine! 🐈🐈⬛🐈
It’s was the little things, at a slow pace, that give me hope, that encourage me, when I was help my Mum rehabilitate baby birds, raccoons , ducks, rabbits, a praying mantis and more. We would grab on to any hopeful sign of progress when raising our wildlife gifts. We were lucky. We saved many animals and returned them to nature. Those that could not survive in the wilderness became our much loved pets. Just like with this kitty… watch for the signs of improvement and acceptance. It was wonderful.
Our son lost his ginger soulmate about 2 months ago. My wife saw a ginger female with her sibling, a gray and white who was super shy. The vet only wanted to adopt them together and was having a hard time placing them because the gray kitten was so, so shy and afraid. My wife adopted them both and now they both follow around our son and sit with him whenever he is in the house. Both of them have become love bugs. Don't give up and give them love. They will come around with some time. Great video.
Mose is so cute!
No better feeling than when stray kitty warms up to you.
Good job, Dunder and family. You guys are amazing!!
That was so adorable and rewarding to see her make progress. And of course Dunder for being so cool and saving the day!!💙🌞
Wonderful story! Thanks for your patience. They look perfect together.
The foster mom is so cute
This reminds me of when we got our cat, Tango. He was pretty shy for the first couple of days, but eventually he warmed up to the family and now is a total cuddlebug…
