Me too. I am always moved to tears when i witness such kindness, compassion and eagerness to help our fur friends displayed by humans... God bless those people, every single one of them!!!!
I am so glad your vet gave you affordable options for fixing her swimmer's legs! Usually you see thousands of dollars worth of therapy on the Dodo videos.
I’m so glad there are rescuers like this woman that help kittens find good homes and even patiently give them physical therapy! The Dodo taught me what Swimmer’s Syndrome is and has done a lot to bring about more awareness of the condition. Inspiring video!
My parents adopted a stray my cousin found, he has short little legs and had swimmers syndrome the first couple days as he was very young. Thankfully he mostly seemed to get over it on his own, we wouldn’t have known how to help the poor thing if he hadn’t 😢
Thank you for your kind replies! I was blessed with many years of independence but in my midlife now have progressive issues and surgeries with most time in a wheelchair. But I keep fighting just the same to retain any mobility possible! So thankful for the good people who support me. Best to you both! ❤️🙏💞🌈
@ Lami Bless your poor little heart. Bet your family just loves when you pop in... tell ME... do they hide the TV, money and expensive items when you show up?
"We are just not good at this". Said by every animal lover trying to do the right thing to help and persevering because it means everything in the world to the recipient.
I love when they're little floof balls and just a few weeks old. When my cat had her kittens they would all fit in my coat pockets when I would go for walks, with the mama cat walking along with me. Then I'd take them out and they'd play on a log or a big pile of sand, then I'd gather them all up and put them back in my pockets and head back home again.
Kitten Lady also did a video on curing a kitten with swimmers syndrome and I've seen a few others with kittens and puppies. I'm really glad that this condition - and it's treatment - is becoming well known. As long as it's dealt with early on, there's no reason these critters can't live perfectly normal lives...
So awesome that the momma and her kittens were able to find their furever homes. The dedication to get Jitterbug's legs straight and etc... is so awesome.
Seeing the little cat able to overcome her disability and recover, I honestly wonder if I with over 13 years of depression - will one day be able to be free of it and live a happy life. Kudos to the kitten’s patient foster parents and siblings for helping them.
Maybe a kitten can help with that(if you are able)? A baby animal's playful antics & unconditional love make life so much better for people with depression and anxiety. A cat's purring has been proven to lower blood pressure!🙂
I used to have moderate depression issues until I got a kitten and never had issues again. Having something else to focus on instead of my thoughts all the time definitely helped to keep from obsessing over negative thoughts. Plus receiving and giving affection was like getting a regular source of a vitamin you had been badly deficient in. Hope you get over it one day as well.
@@2babobcat761 @ghoster311 @MochiJiminie Thank you for the suggestions. I already have a 12 year old Doggo, got her after I was diagnosed with depression. She's not good with other animals sadly so that's likely not possible. I do pat the stray cats in my area though.
Thank you for taking such wonderful care of Jitterbug. You met a problem took it on and handled it. My grandmother always said...When allelse fails prevail. Ya'll did an amazing job. Thank you.
Good job keeping the sisters together because I know it isn't easy to keep bonded pairs together. It just goes to show that with a little work that swimmers syndrome can be dealt with without major surgery and other expensive procedures. I know it is a good bit of work but it isn't the end of the world. Nicely done all the way around.
These amazing people who show unconditonal love towards special needs animals, still make me believe that there are some kind people left in the world. Im so glad that jitterbug will have a better quality of life and be a normal kitten.
The job of a physical therapist is being supremely patient and innovative. You did such a great job with Jitterbug! With large credit to you, Jitterbug will have a normal life.
This woman is such a beautiful, loving, kind and compassionate soul and is such an inspiration to anyone who may have ever doubted for even a moment that God has chosen special people here on earth to love, nurture and care for his precious, sweet innocent furry children....God Bless you all 🙏🙏🙏
Its great she noticed so early because the sooner you can tape the legs the better. They are so supple at that age that its the best time to do it when they are still developing.
Thank you for helping her. Thank you for helping the rest of family find their forever families thank you for not giving up and I think it's adorable how you give them little gift bags when they leave so they always remember that they were loved by their Foster Mommy before they got there forever family's you are wonderful thank you
She found it hard in the beginning, but Jitterbug persevered and adjusted to her strange tape legs and eventually managed to work with it on her own, with her siblings, and use it to help out herself. Well done. What an Amazing kitty with an amazing family.
What a wonderful breakthrough for swimmers syndrome! I have seen other videos that have used water therapy only for strengthening the animal’s back legs, but this is a smart combination of different therapy methods that were used for this precious kitten’s rehabilitation. God bless the foster family and everyone else involved in finding momma and her babies wonderful furever homes. Great video and thank you for sharing this amazing story!💕😊🐱👏💯💕
I hadn't heard of this swimmers problem until Dr Pol's show, but it's fairly common, and easily remedied! Thank you for taking the time! The exercise pool was genius!
Precious baby to a wonderful cat mom. They are both blessed. And the new cat parents who adopted them look just right for them and so glad Jitterbug and Cha Cha were adopted together.
This is Bagels mom who is the best person and will go out of her way for animals. She deserves an award!!! Thank you so much for all the work you do. God bless ❤️
A really great story. I love the way it was documented so we could see the progress. A special thanks to the wonderful lady whose patience, persistence, and caring made this happy ending possible.
The love and patience you had to have to give this beautiful kitten the ability to use her back legs is wonderful. Sometimes I could barely see the video because of the happy tears in my eyes. If ever someone were looking to describe the word "Love" you and this kitten would explain it.
I remember that day when I adopted out the cats I was not keeping from the litter my cat had. It was such a bittersweet moment. Two of them got to stay together so I was happy about that.
What phenomenal, beautiful people you are! Your devotion to helping baby Jitterbug live a full, active life free from lifelong disability has succeeded wonderfully, and to see the transformation is magical.

The most important is the rescuer refuse to give up on medical condition the kitten has.
Well said.
