Looking forward to seeing how this turns out. I have a 66 F100 with a 302 in it that I enjoy driving very much. I think you’ll be quite happy with what you come out with. Stick with it!
@kosanders78 sorry I didn't see this comment earlier, but if you are still interested in the speed gems adapter for the 6r80 I am willing to work things out!
i'm really enjoying these videos. i have a '66 in almost perfect condition with the 352 / 4 speed. i want to swap in a 4.6 32V DOHC with a 6 speed, but i've been considering a 5.0 lately. have you considered doing a crown vic front crossmember swap? disc brakes, rack and pinion, powr steering, sway bar.....it's a perfect swap for these trucks. i'm looking forward to any wiring harness videos that you may be doing, as well as ECU wiring. you've got some nice, low key content. keep it up. it makes your videos enjoyable to watch. subscribed!
Thanks man really appreciate the support. I was tempted to but decided not to in the end. If I was to upgrade the suspension I would get Q1A suspension but you will definitely spend a lot. I actually don't mine the twin I beams so I decided to rock them! Currently saving up for the wirring harness I'll definitely be posting a lot of videos on that when it comes. Money is always an issue. Next up is plumbing and mounting up the exhaust manifolds !
@@felix2210arf yup, i get the money thing. but, i just cant do the twin I beam thing. ok....looking forward to all updates. again, your videos are nice and chill. if you want to make them two or three times longer, i'm sure no one would complain. just sayin'
ok....i just watched this video again. something i didn't catch before. did you use the original driveshaft with carrier bearing, or was it the 2 piece from the donor mustang? i'm asking because my project has taken another direction - i want to swap in a coyote. the drive shaft issue has bothered me because these came stock with a 2 piece, as you know. i just didn't know if a 2 piece had to be used with the swap.
Originally I had the original driveshaft modified to work with the 6R80 since I was planning on keeping the 352FE and bolting a 6r80 to it. Now that driveshaft won't work since the added power and its too short. I'm working on getting another custom one made for this swap!

Appreciate the support, slowly getting things done. I can't wait to smoke these tires down the road.
Nice videos, Any videos on the auto swap?
I'm going to show more on the linkage and cooling lines next video. All in the works!

@ramrodou812 I'll see what I can do to lengthen them. Don't want too much filler and people get bored. Appreciate the feedback!
