    I can't tell you how happy I am you guys finally made a Digital Mixer as good as RME's, now all you need to make something as awesome as their DigiCheck.

    This was so helpful! Thank you! I have been using the Lynx Mixer for years but not using all of the features. I'm especially excited about using the direct monitoring for the first time. I've always just turned on "low latency mode" in Logic. This works, but there is definitely still latency that you can hear. And if the project is already big, you have to disable so many plugins that it becomes an uninspiring mix to play or sing to.

    Looks very impressive! I think I understand this scenarios, but I'll ask the question anyway: If the DAW has 24 tracks completed and you want to mix them down, can you get all 24 tracks shoehorned into two outputs in order to go the a monitoring mixer like Dangerous D-Box or Presonus Central Station?

    Is the attenuation only available in half db steps? How can I fine trim it to a tenth of a db? Sorry, can't find this info anywhere in the manual!

    Paul, How would I go about setting up my Lynx Aurora 16 TB into a presonus HP60 for the most flexibility? I am having trouble grasping the routing concept and it seems like I would need to come out of the
    Aurora with 2 balanced signals say outputs 3/4 and then convert that into a stereo non balanced 1/4 plug to go into a channel of the HP60. Are there special cables for that or what?
    Right now I am getting separate headphone mixes by coming out of channel 5 , 7, 9 and taking them into the HP60 in 3 separate headphone inputs. Seems like I am missing something important. It has been working and I have had control over the mixes but they are mono of course except for the main playback mix coming out of 1 and 2.
    Any help would be great.

    How do you make a particular scene the default upon booting up your system?

      fore real? how so annoying its gonna blast out my monitors

      Jesse Sheehan I’m not quite sure what you’re trying to say, but it sounds like you’re worried about blowing your monitors? If that’s what you mean, you should know your power amp/powered monitors should always be the last thing you power on and the first thing you power off.

    What would the benefit be of adding an AES16e PCIe card to an an Aurora 16 LT-TB setup?

    • @LynxStudioTech
      @LynxStudioTech  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The AES16e allow you to get up to 16 channels of AES in and out of a PCIe equipped computer. So among other things it would allow an AES equipped Aurora (either classic 'Silver' or Aurora(n) + LM-DIG) to have up to 16 channels of Thunderbolt equivalent performance in an otherwise non-Thunderbolt equipped computer. You just have to have the AES16e and an available PCI express port.

    I have the Aurora 16 LT-TB and am trying to figure out how to be able to control headphone mixes for multiple players. With my previous setup Focusrite Saffire 40 , I could send any type of mix I wanted to 5 different individual headphone mixers ( cheap ROLLS headphone amps ) for 5 diff players.
    Does this software mixer give me the same capability?

    • @paulerlandson5777

      Sure, you can do the same. You could organize your playback groups into Stems, then control the level of the stems by adjusting the level for playback pairs to each of the outputs. You can do the same with input signals. About 11 minutes into the video it describes that scenario

    Hey, I have the Clarity M Stereo meter from TC Electronic, and I want to route it with my Lynx Aurora 8 via the ADAT card. How can I set that up?

    • @LynxStudioTech
      @LynxStudioTech  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You should be able to connect digitally via AES. The Aurora AES out has a Yamaha pin out standard. You might want to check TC to get the correct cable.

      @@LynxStudioTech Do I have to do something on the lynx mixer app on my computer to make this work?

    can you substitute the analog outs for the digital ones?

    • @paulerlandson5777
      @paulerlandson5777 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They are completely independent, you just need to set the Aurora to 24 or 32 channel mode.

    Why isn't this available for other Aurora interfaces? The remote control mixer for LT-USB is awful. This looks wonderful!

    • @paulerlandson5777
      @paulerlandson5777 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      It has to do with DSP resources. I'm afraid its not possible to use this mixing paradigm with the LT-USB card.

      I agree, and that s why i hesitate buying an old Aurora LT USB. Do you confirm this nice mixer is not usable ? Also i have an RME ucx with totalmix soft, could you tell me if the aurora USB could be managed with totalmix ? Thx !
