Creating the Ultimate Triple Foam Car Wash

- In building this car wash basically from the ground up there are a number of upgrades and modifications I have really been looking forward to adding to my car wash. I finally found a used triple foam unit that was within my budget. I jumped at the opportunity to add this into one of the features I provide.
This video will talk about the equipment the soaps and also the mechanics behind car wash equipment. I walk through the modifications I made to the unit upon receiving it and then go over how this type of unit is installed into an existing car wash. The chemicals I used to get the vibrant pastel colors are products sold on kleen-ritecorp.com.
The end result was an amazing foam cannon fan of colorful foam that is really going to be a hit with the customer base.

My OCD is so jealous of how you have your equipment room set up... I would gut mine and completely redo it if I had the time and money haha
Mines still a work in progress. I need to clean up my loft and figure out some shelving options. I try to do a little bit of cleanup/organization every time I am there.
@@therevestor It's definitely a marathon and not a sprint. And I have to keep telling myself to focus on the things the customer cares about and not just the stuff that drives me nuts.

Yo that looks cool! Most of the time if a car wash has this option it sucks making it worthless. To bad I'm in Houston I would love to go and use that carwash. Also I noticed around my area at least most self serve are gone. Now I have to use a touchless car wash. Smh
I agree. I have seen a lot of car washes with this function and it rarely is adjusted correctly. Most common problem I see is spitting.

Go ahead and get a Klein 3005CR ratcheting crimper. They sell them at Home Depot. Your old crimper will collect dust. I can't believe I used those terrible crimpers for 30 years before discovering the ratcheting type.

Love the detail on the wiring. What wire did you run to each bay? Is that like a 25 pair 18 gauge? I am looking at buying my first and your videos are very informative thank you. I also own rental properties and do renovation. I would love to make all this work seems that’s the fun part!
The wire I bought I believe is 15 conductor 18 gauge
What is your background on? I am assuming plumbing, electrical?

Man you did an awesome job, I have triple foam at my wash. I have a similar set up but I'm not getting such a wide fan. Could you take a second and tell me which nozzle tip you installed on the gun? Thanks in advance.
The tip I am using in the video is a 5040. It needs a lot of volume to fill the fan so if I messed around with mine I would probably go a little more narrow.

How many car washes do you have now?

Is the mix ratio correct? What tip color do you use on hydrominders? Mine seems to be less colorful than that but sprays really well…
I was using yellow tips but the red specifically wasnt colorful enough. It seemed to be more of a white/pink foam so I moved up a couple sizes.
can you explain how you choose which orifice to use so you don't just blow thru a whole bucket of chemical in a single wash cycle.
can you give me some idea if possible to have a very basic triple foam or foam wax gun set up at home? THANKS!!!
Where did you get the foam dampeners?
Do they make that gun with a trigger or shut off? Looks like you could waste product. If the customer can spray their entire car faster than the allotted time for the triple foam then you would save product when they let go of the trigger and just let the time run out? If that makes sense.
No trigger the cost of the chemical is pennies so if the timer is running I am making a profit.
Where do you get the clips for keeping your hoses organized?
