Painting the car wash bays!! Will it be worth it? You be the judge.

  • I am starting to make some upgrades to my wash and one of the things I wanted to do was paint the bays to make them cleaner and brighter for the customers. I really hope this is worth the effort! What do you think?

    Wow, look really clean bay, the question is…is the painting holding good? I easy to clean stains? I painted mine since walls were printer before and now cant keep walls clean 👎🏽

      It's holding up pretty well. The high gloss paint I think is the trick. Nothing is sticking to it, at least so far. Plus, it's such an improvement over the un-painted brick, that I don't think anyone would even notice if it was dirty honestly.

      @@normalcarwash can you share what type of primer and paint did you use?

      @@ruiz4774 The primer is "Block Filler" by Dutch Boy. Specifically designed to stop paint from soaking into brick like a sponge. Once that's dry, we put a layer of Dutch "Porch and Floor" high gloss over the top. Both of them can be tinted colors, but we just went straight white for now.
