It seems like you haven’t been back to US in a while… we’ve got a woman on the Supreme Court now that can’t define the word “woman.” Shits gone wild while you were away.

All law enforcement and many inner city private citizens recognize specific tattoos and their affiliations. These generally aren’t subtle or subjective

El Salvador. That's where all the gang members I worked with in California came from. Eventually, I got replaced by one who would do my $35 an hour job for $19.

I am an Attorney. I have worked in the Criminal Justice System for 25 years, we also have to be competent on American Immigration Law. I love your channel, think you have a great legal mind. I also think that the Thai's listen to you. I don't know if it is a coincidence that issues change after your videos but with Marijuana, Covid and some Immigration issues the needle seems to move. But, your rant on the Supremes, measured and wieghed the law without any ideology bent is ridiculous. At least 3 Justices have been proven to be bought and paid for and in cases where Justices they are truly in conflict with, no reclusion at all...LOL I lived 25 years listening to conservatives say the Supremes had a Liberal Ideology and and you know what, they were right too. Any other opinion is just head in the sand time.

So it's ok if certain judges get gifts and others don't. That's no proof of any wrong doing. Sotomayor gets trips all the time. Your point falls flat on its face.

@@chillichokerpepperbelly900 These Justices perjured themselves to Congress on questions involving Roe and I want you to do your taxes and not put down valuable gifts and see how you are treated by the IRS and the Courts...LOL. The question is not the gifts, its the reporting. But, my answer was more about ideology, than Gifts, even though your argument is ridiculous because there is nothing but proof of wrong doing, what is missing is a remedy for wrong doing, which is provable in a court of law, that you know nothing about.

I thoroughly enjoy most of your posts as being informative and spot on explaining legal issues facing expats here in Thailand. However, I’m this particular case I believe you are totally wrong in calling out the press for pointing out that the decision was made along “ideological lines”. The fact of the matter is that the Supreme Court in the US has been thoroughly corrupted. The far right justices currently sitting on the Supreme Court were selected far outside the normal process of Senate vetting and oversight done by a third-party outside the constitutional process. That third-party is the thoroughly corrupt and well funded Leonard Leo of the Heritage Foundation. These right wing candidates on the court were thoroughly vetted and trained in their replies by Leo and his organization before coming before the Senate for approval of their nomination to the court. Leonard Leo has a $1.5 BILLION DOLLAR+ war chest to put against trying to overturn legal precedent in the United States through his own pre-vetting, then submitting the candidates to, in this case the convicted felon, Donald Trump. He is an extreme right wing Catholic, who has put forth his pre-vetted candidates who are also extreme right wing Catholics, to not only the Supreme Court, but other federal courts, thus thoroughly corrupting the US legal system. This is why we are seeing the utter insanity of the rulings regarding women’s healthcare, that is the government stepping inbetween a woman and her doctor preventing an abortion during a life-threatening pregnancy of the mother, even in cases where the fetus has no heartbeat and can cause life threatening sepsis if not removed. This also applies to the insane rulings against the attempted control of the proliferation of guns in the wrong hands, and regulating the types of guns and armament such as assault weapons, large capacity magazines and bump stocks which convert assault rifles into machine guns. These are true ideologues. They should never have even been allowed to walk through the doors of these courtrooms.
Now to a different point. The US is still a racist country when it comes to the government immigration process. As a US citizen, I married my Chinese wife in China so her family and friends could attend the wedding since I was taking her back to live in the US. It took me over 1 year to get her into the US because of the thoroughly broken immigration process. And racist, yes. If she were European she would have been granted entry to the US immediately. This is the same thing we are seeing for Latin American immigrants. What mostly ignorant Americans fail to realize is that it is actually historical American government and corporate corruption and policies going back over 100 years that have created so many problems in these regions. Why is that they are called “banana republics”. It’s because they were controlled in large part by American companies who exploited them.
I’ll end it here with one last note. MS-13 was actually founded in the US and was helped to spread by the massive US prison system, as well as the socioeconomic structure immigrants find themselves in, be the immigrants illegal or not.

US Civics 101 . the executive branch is granted the ability to dictate, implement, operate, and regulate laws. These laws, which have been crafted and passed into law by the legislative branch are open to interpretation by the executive branch and will of the people. if the law or how its implemented are felt to be unconstitutional by any party or citizen, it is challenged, pushed up through the courts, sent to the supreme court on passing/ implementation and/or challenge and subject to judicial review. the implementation or regulation is then upheld or struck down.

without a clear cut reason for denial, the defendant has little options to proceed. It's basically denying due process/Illegally denying basic rights. It's a criminal act in my book. I say string em up :) Next case. Roy Bean vs Roy Bean

Of course you didn't hear a word he said did you? You have the right to get married but not the right to enter the country for foreign Nationals. People forget criminals exist in the world. And have tattoos identified by crimes. 🤷
