The best point of the EUC for me: Integration with public transport. There's simply no other vehicle that I can take with me in a train or a bus as easily as the EUC. It's the perfect "Last mile" vehicle. You can even use it as a portable chair when train is full. =D
@@godless9010 I don't need a high speed/long range wheel since the main part of the commute is done by train, my v8 is more than enough. I don't wear any protective gear as well, since I don't need to go over 35km/h. Any how, it would still be easier to commute in train with a V-Sherman and bike gear than with a E-bike or Scooter. I'm looking toward to get a V11 with a seat, It's so tall, would be great to use as a chair in the train =D.
The only problem with euc’s are the significantly higher price point to entry vs a scooter. A nine or max can be had for $800 with a range of 24 miles at max speed, or even a high powered 60v 30ah Samsung powered scooter can be bought off of alibaba for $1400. Eucs start above that price point for the most part and the learning curve is much much higher. You can pass a scooter off to anyone and they will be up and riding in 5 seconds. The mastery of learning to ride an euc is where the risk/reward is at.
I think EUCs are a lot safer than OneWheels also. I love my OneWheel, but the sideways stance makes it much harder to run off falls and the nosedives are a constant threat which can't be completely eliminated by rider skill.
Being a motorcyclist for 60+ years, I wish I could have one, but now can'i afford a fall. I really envy you younger people. Very informative, well presented (as expected) - I particularly like the emphasis on developing your own exoskeleton - even with experience you will part company with the vehicle from time to time and you want to bounce, not crash. I think it helps to know how to fall, and I think you pick that up early or not at all. With me it was sports like skiing and soccer ("football" in EU, but even American football helps). Something like gymnastics or martial arts would be excellent. You seldom have the time to think or plan your landing, so it has to become instinct.

Knees though. How about them? They work all the time in absorbing all the bumps and dips in the surface. They are the suspension (and the tires) since not every model has one.
Way to much sag. He bottoms out multiple times. Sag should be no more than the first ~20% of travel and you should never bottom out except under very extreme situations. From an optimal standpoint, this suspension is very badly dialed in.
At least my V10F is still running like new after many rainy days and riding though puddles and along with a whole lot of sand. Just make sure to buy one with a proper ingress protection rating and you're fine.
Another quality presentation Adam, but please visit the dentist after riding down all those steps, some fillings maybe loose 🤣 looking forward to the next video mate.
Here in Sweden. You can not go over 20km/h on eBikes, eScooters etc. has there is no road insurance for them. Fast then that you need a moped AM liecnce and insurance and must have a number plate. I have seen police take away eScooters at the roadside and make the rider walk has they are going to fast. But we do have great sidewalks when riding all over Sweden.
1-2 hours basic instincts, only if I know that if I lean forward/back i go forward/back because it took me like 9 hours to actually ride around the kids playground 😂
I would say the main benefit of a scooter in terms of safety is in the event of an electrical fire you don’t immediately get a lot closer with the pavement

Millions of years climbing down into the savanna, yet'it's been what 40 years since Marty rode the first conceptual 'hover board'. Now we can quit using them except, perhaps, as suspension elements.
I've watched a lot of your videos and as much fun as my Mantis Pro is, you have convinced me to try an EUC. Do you think a Gotway RS High Speed would be a good first EUC? Anyway, it'll be a few weeks before my RS arrives.
Speaking of protective gears, what kind of shin guard provide more-than-the-front protection? I saw a picture in a forum showing a laceration at the calf. Is there such a thing as "360 degree full wrapping shin guard" to prevent that? :-)
since you fall more than learning to ride bikes or motorcycles, are there helmets that can actually survive multiple impacts? I know bike and motorcycle helmets have a crushable lining that is intended to be one-and-done. You're not supposed to crash often in them.

12:03 omg now I want a unicycle 😱 the road where I live is almost like 😱 never thought it has that capacity
Why did I laugh hard time when you went down those stairs
That suspension is dialed in perfectly for you!
Yeah around 100-110psi for my 75kg weight. Flypads help a lot too!
Way to much sag. He bottoms out multiple times. Sag should be no more than the first ~20% of travel and you should never bottom out except under very extreme situations. From an optimal standpoint, this suspension is very badly dialed in.
@@JS-wt8vf I don't know about that one, chief.
@@JS-wt8vf KING of all EUC knowledge: THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR KNOWLEDGE WITH US PEONS.
@@marcsirkin8398 Your welcome! Don't sell yourself short though. We can all learn new things if we put our minds to it.
So how waterproof are they? Doesn't sand kill your bearings?
i admit i'm curious about sand and Bearing combo
At least my V10F is still running like new after many rainy days and riding though puddles and along with a whole lot of sand. Just make sure to buy one with a proper ingress protection rating and you're fine.
@@4nlimited3dition_4n3d yeah my V10F is holding up really well as well!
Sand has never been a friend of any metal on metal components.
@@SwitchUpYt I just ordered one 2 days ago? First time getting one. Is it worth it?
Another quality presentation Adam, but please visit the dentist after riding down all those steps, some fillings maybe loose 🤣 looking forward to the next video mate.
He's riding a V11 - the built in suspension dampens the bumps significantly.
Great video. Thanks
Your comfort level is wonderful. At 78 I don't see a EUC in my future. Ah! To be 50 again. Cheers
Euc plus public transit would be the way to go .. so green 💚.
Love Your videos.
Espechaly wacth out for roots, doing.🤣🤣
also drunk unicycle driving is very safe. after all you dont need to worry about balancing, its being done for you!
You talked me into it, now where can I buy a like new used EUC ?
electric train's tracks too. I had to slow down for those.
what is the recommend cruise speed for best milages? for bike party marathon.
Awesome vid, excellent ENGLISH 🇬🇧 🇵🇱
You’re killin it brotha!!!! ☺️👍
My left arm won't be the same it was after wiping out on a segway. But I felt like a ghost going up driveways and down sidewalks by houses
Man u handle the stair like a champ
It would be interesting to know the Range and distance between charges
1-2 hours basic instincts, only if I know that if I lean forward/back i go forward/back because it took me like 9 hours to actually ride around the kids playground 😂
I would say the main benefit of a scooter in terms of safety is in the event of an electrical fire you don’t immediately get a lot closer with the pavement
Ok a one wheel scooter is called a EUC. So what is a two side by side wheel called? I’m talking about the original self-balancing Segway style scooter.
What kind/model are you riding in this video?? Looks cool
I'm 51 and if I was 20 years younger and I would have one of these for sure, and a good one.
Im 48 and just bought one 😊 ninebot one A1.
And Just finished 4 km.
You are not old bro. Go ahead buy one. Its awesome !
Millions of years climbing down into the savanna, yet'it's been what 40 years since Marty rode the first conceptual 'hover board'. Now we can quit using them except, perhaps, as suspension elements.
This was an Amazing video 👍🏼
OH. MY. GOD. you have a clip of The Room lmao
Amazing
I am a man of culture too ;p
I've watched a lot of your videos and as much fun as my Mantis Pro is, you have convinced me to try an EUC. Do you think a Gotway RS High Speed would be a good first EUC?
Anyway, it'll be a few weeks before my RS arrives.
Nice! Yeah i think it'll be great ;)
Gotway rs high speed
Great video, appreciate your input on the EUC life! I've got a similar video on my channel and love hearing other riders takes on riding. Cheers!!
Hi can you tell me a Good EUC to buy.. Brand Please Thanks nice video....
I am planing on geting one, but I am not sure which brand/model to get. I will appreciate it if u recommend me some. Urs look immaculate.
Theres a video on my channel best EUC’s for beginners you might want to check it out :)
Epic infinite stairs intro !
Do you get tired standing up? How long do you think it would take before you do get tired?
Thank you, very informative, be safe
great video man.
Speaking of protective gears, what kind of shin guard provide more-than-the-front protection? I saw a picture in a forum showing a laceration at the calf. Is there such a thing as "360 degree full wrapping shin guard" to prevent that? :-)
Try to find some Kevlar material! ':)))....Get real.... you don''t need that!
Used euc means old battery , old battery means brittle effect the performance, right?
Sweet! Woohoo!.. it’s a good time to be alive. What an awesome video. Superb skills. I am hooked 😳
What's your helmet brand and goggles? thanks
Solders of the future will use these on battlefields.
Lol it wil be left at the first fence
since you fall more than learning to ride bikes or motorcycles, are there helmets that can actually survive multiple impacts? I know bike and motorcycle helmets have a crushable lining that is intended to be one-and-done. You're not supposed to crash often in them.
Glad you're on the mend mate.👍
E scooter or EUC? I owned a cheap E scooter and interest to get an EUC. Problem is my balancing sucks. I have no skate board/ rollerblades experienced.
I would say in general an euc is illegal if it’s outside the allowed specs of a scooter for example in my county you can’t ride a scooter faster than 15 mph and an euc would be the same
