There are lovely train stations in Poland. Krakow station is amazing and so is Wroclaw's one. It really puts our main station in Prague to shame - a modernized station but so filthy outside and overcrowded inside.
@@swissclimber1 No, not at all, the station is alright, it's just the park outside that serves as a traditional gathering place for Prague's homeless community. By the same community, most benches are occupied. Metro is integrated inside the building but if one wants to take a tram, a walk through the park is necessary. This will be solved though by 2023 with a new tram tracks that will go through the park all the way to the main entrance of the station.
Hi. Very nice clip! I live in Poland and have few informations about trains in the movie. 1. In 4:36 it's original livery of polish PKP Intercity company, further the car was probably green and it's probably produced in middle or late '80s in FPS Cegielski in Poznan. 2. In 6:55 information is incorrect, the Alstom Pendolino trains are in service since december 2014 and vmax is unfortunatly 200km/h, but the set is ready to ride 250km/h. And it's not Intercity (IC), it's Express Intercity Premium (EIP). 3. In 7:02 it's not Pesa Elf, but Pesa Acatus II, a little bit "economy" version. And in 7:16 it's not Elf - it's Newag Impuls, and inside is also Impuls. But it's far better than Elf or Acatus interior. Thanks's for good work. Maybe you will visit tricity, northen Poland next time and nice Gdynia Główna station?
Thanks. Ugh, I wish I had you to review my video before uploading. Are you familiar with Polish Trams? I'm going to upload a Krakow Tram video next. Question - how was the Polish translation? Did Google do a good job translating?
@@swissclimber1 Quite well, only few words looks funny ;). But it' s easy to understand, even when one or two words are wrong. I'm not from Cracow, but i know a lot about polish trams.
I love Krakow on winter afternoons. Drinking coffee in Massolit bookshop
and walking in snowy streets . Paradise!
I'd like to experience that. But it doesn't snow much in Krakow does it?
Great station. Nice vid

I enjoyed the Prague Tram system though. Unfortunately I did not have time to visit the train station. Is it filthy inside too?

Nice video! Greetings from Kraków!
Great - did you see my Krakow Tram Experience video?
swissclimber1 not yet, added to “watch later” list ;)
It's nice and clean but I prefer the beautiful old station. I hope they don't demolish it.
Yes, they should rehabilitate it.
I think the one in Wroclaw is the best one. Also the one in Lodz is a great modern station.
I will check them out! Are they integrated with tram, train, bus too? For me the underground tram system made Krakow one of the world's best stations.
Beautiful 🌹
Thank you! Cheers! Yes, I'm sure you love train stations, too
