I would also like you to bring out the contentious clauses not what you have sighted those are meaningless and don't change anything at all because the public order act is still there to the detriment of the opposition

Good observation . The current constitution gives the power to create a province but it must be approved by parliament with two thirds majority. This was what took place with muchinga it didn't just take place coz he desired it , parliament had to approve it and this parliament has ruling and opposition MPs. However in this case Bill 10 does not explain the process . It leaves it blank or ‘ as prescribed’.
It then leaves it open to anyone’s interpretation and in this case it would be the interpretation of PF.
Of the examples you have given really how do they affect anything for instance voting for mayor by councillors because it's very expensive to do elections at mayoral level in in to satisfy everyone in the city
But voting for a mayor by councillors is also done in Botswana I see no harm

That’s a system that works well for them as enshrined in their constitution. Our constitution is different and allows citizens to pick their own mayor a thing that gives our people great joy.The genesis of that move was not consulted on . Did the people say they no longer want that right ? So why remove it ?
It’s because they wanted to pack parliament and local government with their own people .

I did compare the difference of the economy of Botswana and that of Zambia . It boils down to the managers of the state .
The economy of Botswana is very stable but the fear the cost of an election what more Zambia. You are saying "their"constitution when has the current constitution been in existence unless you tell me the pf changed the constitution without our knowledge
