    Sudguru- from a white woman.
I have admired you and followed your teachings and have had great affection for you in my heart😢I am shocked at this. I have always loved Hindus. Many nations throughout history have enslaved and oppressed others. Sometimes tribes from the same race have enslaved others. How can we ever move on into a world of peace love and unity for all when people cannot move on from the past into the present. It was always the rich and powerful that enslaved others not the ordinary person. White women and children worked down the mines from dawn to dusk often not seeing the light of day in those days, often being buried alive in cave-ins.
My own father 90 years ago was orphaned as a boy and was starving and had to steal turnips from a farmers field to survive. Little boys were shot if they did not go to war in the first world war. We had it bad too. I am deeply hurt you feel this was about white British people as we love our Hindu brothers and sisters.
Also Hindus believe in reincarnation as do I. So is it not possible that an Indian could have been a white man in those times and a white man and Indian. That is the way it works isn't it?

      I admire your comment Julie
All that you say is so true. I was born in India to parents of European decent ( Portuguese , Irish and South Indian as well)
My education was by the Irish Christian brothers in North India, a school that my Father had also attended.
Never would I want anything else.
At the age of 51 my life is well settled, married to a sweet girl from Punjab with a wonderful Son.
My education gave me so much knowledge and wisdom. Not many Indians have been as fortunate as I have. My work as a physical therapist brings me in touch with so many lesser ones here in Mumbai.
The Western world has given me so much to be proud of and I am constantly bombarded with anti western behaviour. Eastern nations have such a long way to go and love to talk and talk but inside many know that they have a rocky road ahead trying to play catchup with Western society.
God bless you and keep you happy always

The problem with saying this is that logic means that India is due a lot of bad karma as well, like how much child abuse goes on there and they aren't exactly the cleanest hands in the world in history either, does this mean Germany is in trouble for the crimes against the world in WW2? There has to be a point where you can't blame people who weren't there for the doings of their great great great grandparents. So saying the UK is due bad Karma for something that happened many years ago is mad.

People from the East want the same as the West, I often don’t understand why someone would want to be part of the material world which is evil and greedy. People come to the U.K. and are welcomed but a small minority of Islamist Extremists who have no respect for females and want Sharia law are making the West a deadly place. The protests you are showing in your footage are the people of the U.K. showing solidarity with all immigrants. The riots were from a small minority of underprivileged U.K. citizens protesting against two tier policing, 3 little girls were knifed to death and someone spread a rumour they were killed by an illegal immigrant, people got fearful of another spate of terrorism from the Islamic extreme. Sadly a few Brits behaved disgracefully. Please do not discuss things without getting your facts straight. And as far as my forefathers committing horrific crimes against India is concerned, I would reject this and would say not in my name, I would say that your deep spiritual love for the world and peace needs to be carried as your lamp, please be careful that is never compromised by your social media influence.

The problem of the world has been ignorance and violence. Nationalism can create hatred and racism towards other human beings. Colonisation happened, also to my ancestors.
I was born in the UK and educated there. In a nation that became so cosmopolitan because of colonisation. Its this beauty of cultural diversity that encouraged me to explore our beautiful world.
Find the live and peace within, with an open heart to embrace the beauty of all of humanity. It's so beautiful.
Extreme nationalism is not a good thing. An open heart is valuable.
Violence, agression, invadion, possession, war, ignorance are the issues.
And this is why I value and respect India. My spirityal home. India has never conquered by force but united with love. The whole of planet earth. Hers where never weapons of violence but the wisdom of inner and outer peace.
India has never possessed with weapons but liberated and continues to liverate countless people with the greatest gift she could give to humanity, the wisdom of yoga through inner harmony, joy, love understanding and peace.
I'm proud to come to know this greatests of truths.
India be proud of your cultural heritage. And thank you for bringing harmony and peace to the world with your profound gift of spiritual wisdom. A wisdom has united the world.
Thank you for not following the crowd.
    You should be very proud.

Quite right. As Sadhguru points out in this discourse that Inidians do not have a written history - except of course the carvings on the temples and caves. Why didn't India conquer other nations? One simple answer would be that the 200 odd kingdoms (India) were too busy fighting each other trying to take over the territory of their neighbor. Isnt it similar to what the invaders did when they conqured India? Why are we trying to pin our weaknesses and stupidity on someone else. The simple rule has always been the victor takes the spoils and that has always been there and with all other nations including the kingdoms of India and it is true even today. We have never talked about the nations to the east of India where Hinduism has been major. Indonesia, Cambodia etc. Has there been conquests there in the past? I have heard a story about a Korean queen with links to India.

The other 99 percent were struggling to make ends meet and did not have the luxury to spend their time thinking about vague topics. Despite all the advancment and prosperity we have made since independence, the majority are still in the same rut. It is still visible in all the cities and villages.

Its unfortunate that despite such powerful reply by Sadguruji, people are still confused with facts.
Who said 99% we're grappling. There was inner contentment that money can never buy. Even the monied class we're pious, more focused on charitable activities than self indulgence that is seen today. Invasion of consumption theory of foreigners is more dangerous and confusing people than the physical invasion that we were able to overcome.
People want every possible indulgence and not satisfied like the westerners who believe in one life theory. That's the greatest misfortune of our times, submitting to MAYA.
Only use of personal wealth is more and more indulgence.
