I tried to pry it open at every angle with my fingers, but I didn't consider using both thumbs like you did. I felt kinda dumb because of how obvious you made it look, but I feel better knowing I wasn't alone. Also, as a tip to others, I took the battery out by wedging the tip of a steak knife between the battery and the wall of the battery slot. My fingernails didn't quite reach in there deep enough, but I'd imagine other people might relate and appreciate the advice.
That's amazing! This is my favorite purchase this year. Now in quarantine, I am doing exercise with it. I got overweight but after playing Beat Saber and Racket: Nx (and proper diet) already shelling some lbs. I also enjoy playing multiplayer poker in the evening and trying out many other experiences. Half-Life: Alyx is a must. Did you get the cable as well to play Oculus Rift Game? I think it's worth it as it opens up a huge library of high-quality games that can be played on the Quest 2. Why is it so hard to take the covers off
ikr
Ye at first it is but there’s a specific side you need to do it on
If you see in the video that circle inside the controller is where opens the shield so just press on the sides
So when you punch a wall it does break
If you really think about it it's a good thing so they don't fly off while playing
BUT THEY ARE SO DAMN HARD TO TAKE OFF!
this was a nice simple process and honestly I needed it thank you I didn't want my controller dying on me while I was on VR that wouldn't be any fun
