Thank you so much for explaining the advanced settings w/ the issue around the 8:32 timestamp. I happened to just randomly scroll far enough to catch that part which was the exact issue I faced. It might be helpful for others in my situation if you add a chapter to that point :) Appreciate your help!
I LOVE YOU! Bought 25 of the SINGLE LINE FONTS a long time ago and almost gave up trying to use them with Font Lab...in 2 minutes I was doing exactly what I wanted because to your tutorial! THANK-YOU, THANK-YOU, THANK-YOU!
Leo! This is a great tutorial. I have utilized the draw function to write text, but have never installed new fonts. In addition, you offered some new tricks regarding centering and also the "ungroup to letters" element. Thank you, so much, for bringing even more life to my Cricut!🤩
Thank you, I've always wondered how to write in cards using the Cricut. I've watched plenty of videos and it just didn't click but your instructions are very clear. Also, thanks for sharing SLF - never heard of them.
This is great. I've not used pens much because the outline was not what I wanted in my text. I've used an embossing pen and then applied embossing powder then colored the letters but that is a great deal of effort. Thank you for your clear and concise instructions.
Thanks, Leo, for this video! I’ve learned a few new things that I can certainly use with my Cricut. I have a tremor in my hand and I used to have beautiful handwriting but now it’s horrible so this will make putting a message inside my cards much easier.
You can also do this with Silhouette Studio. (It has way fewer steps, but that may be because I don't have a dual carriage on my ancient Cameo 1 😊) I love it for journaling boxes in scrapbooks. You can get (or jury rig in my case) pen holders that work with a wider variety of pens. I like the Ink Joy gel pens as they are pretty fast drying and have lots of great color options. Microns work well too.
As usual, great video Leo - I usually wing it when adding text to cards. Fairly shaky on what I'm doing - they turn out fine, but your video helped so much with the single-line font vs regular font portion - I usually color in my bubble fonts because I just didn't know that I needed to select single line fonts from the choices. I have plenty that I've downloaded but never used. I try to choose writing fonts and they don't always work out correctly. Anyway, thanks so much!🤩
Thanks so much for this , Leo. I have really just dabbled with using the pens, because I wasn't really sure of what I was doing. This really helps. 🙂. What is the best tip for using the single line fonts? I have a couple of packages with a mix. The one that came with my Maker is a .4mm.
Thanks for the info on where to get more single line fonts, I have used the ones in Cricut access, but I have always wanted more. Should work well with the foiling in the cricut. ❤
Love tutorials about cricket design space. They are always fixing or upgrading our software. We now have a monogram program in design space. Sometimes people just do not want to play to learn. Perhaps people are not using monograms in their projects because that light bulb has not come in to play. All the options in design space are play and learn or hit the you tube button etc. Suggest some beautiful cards using MONOGRAMS.
Thank you. I purchased and installed the Graceful font. After loading it into DSpace and adding it to my project, the font does not look the way it's supposed to. It's still bubble text. Any suggestions?
Thank you! I love the SLF but was so frustrated trying to use them with my Explorer. They work great with a SnC without doing any of the gymnastics required by Cricut.

Thanks for taking the time to explain. Could we see something about fitting in to a shape like a heart please

Thank you my SLF kept fragmenting but your instructions was clear and concise!
Thanks for the video, Leo. I've been collecting Leslie's fonts for years - last count I have 26. She has great sales, and I can't resist.

Just what I needed! Thank you, Dreaming Tree and Leo 🩵❤️🩵
Leo you are amazing! I have been going crazy looking for script for pens for weeks. thank you thank you
Thank Leo - I've never noticed that advanced feature to 'ungroup to letters". I need to use my pens more.
Thanks for this Leo! I ordered several of the fonts with your link! Can't wait to start using these.
New trick to do the ungroup to letters - I had always welded them and then attached to the box.

This was exactly what I needed! I came across the garbage problem the other day and now I know how to fix!
TY Leo for this tutorial I always use a thin line for greetings and on my envelopes looks sooo professional but this gives me more options 😊

Can this be used in a Scan n Cut?
Thank you! I purchased 6 new SLF fonts.
Thank you so much!!! I had that issue with the font because it was just bubbles. But, now the fonts work great
OH MY GOODNESS ❣ Thank You, Leo 🥰

Thank you for this, you make it much easier to understand this function :)

Great video! Thanks
Thank you so much. This is a game changer xx
Thanks great info! 🖊
This is wonderful. Thank you so much.
I was ready to give up on using my purchased SLFs because they always wrote wonky. 😏
Thanks for the tip about ungrouping before attaching.
Awesome! Thank you!!
Very helpful, thanks!
I don't seem to have that second toolbar with the advanced settings option
So true!!
Great as always
Thank you so much for this video. I had purchased from this company a while back and wasn't able to use the SLF until now. So simple and so beautiful.
Thank you. I purchased and installed the Graceful font. After loading it into DSpace and adding it to my project, the font does not look the way it's supposed to. It's still bubble text. Any suggestions?
Thanks for this wonderful video!! Very helpful!
He said the link would be below to get the fonts. I do not see anything. Where is it?
WoW, thanks for this, my printer just died so this video saved the day.
When I press "attach" and then make it, it wants me to print then cut... not draw with the pens. so frustrating.
❤

Just found it! 🙄 I forgot to click on the text button first.
very disappointing you are now allowing more ads
Silhouette is so much easier.
