Was it this busy in Salem on Halloween 1994? Or did that not happen until years later. Anyone who might have been there that year I’d be interested your recollections.
@@MileMarker4k It was one of the more memorable Halloween’s of my youth. I never really went to Salem back then in spite of being only an hour away lol.
I'm going to make a serious effort to this year. 2022 I went a month before and it was busy, then a week before and it was very busy. Can't imagine what the actual day is like...only one way to find out!@@dl5634
You have to not mind being in crowds, it’s been said to be the largest Halloween celebration in the USA. I went in 2022 on Halloween spent pretty close to 10 hours. We left just before closing. Parking can be tough so you got to get there early.
A friend of mine doesn't want me to go, tomorrow. "I live and work there! It's dangerously overcrowded! don't come!" (looking at this video) OH NO! look at them all! You can't walk five feet without bumping into seven people, or getting shot! IT'S THE WHOLE STATE OF RHODE ISLAND...NO THE HUMAN RACE IS THERE!! I think my friend is exaggeratting....
Just like anyone in a spot that has a tourist season locals definitely get worn out. But if you haven't been and want to try it you should absolutely go and have fun! It's policed, it's safe and an experience

Ironically the first time I went was 8 in 1993. Too young to remember it well but do remember it being very busy. What makes you ask about 94?

@@infernicide666 sounds about the same here! 90 minutes away.. Went in 93 and didn't make it back for Halloween until last year.
Can’t be October 31st Halloween?? Hardly anyone is in costume, very unusual for Halloween day in Salem. Great video though.
