My battery was degrading and I was thinking about changing it out but didn't want to ship it. Really came in clutch with this video and the very reasonably priced products link. Even the company charges more for batteries. Definitely gonna be doing this.

@@brandoneich2412 yeah worked out great. Really easy to do. Double check and make sure you get every single screw out, almost messed my phone up accidentally skipping one.
The next few times my battery got low my phone struggled to figure out what the battery level was and would drop from 5% to 0% instantly, but eventually it leveled out.
Overall I'd say 9/10. If I did it again I might consider buying a legit battery for $40, but I'd still do the procedure myself. It only took like 15 minutes. Sure beats sending your phone out for a week or two and paying like $200, either of which is enough to deter me.

just installed mine 2 days ago. My old battery was at about 80-83% battery health. After my 8 hour work day, I used to be below 15%, now I'm at about 25-35%. (I use my phone heavily while at work listening to music/steaming videos and the like for about 7 of the 8hours). Like others have said, it's not actually OEM (at least it doesn't have the same markings) but it does accept warp charging and seems to perform accordingly. So far, no complaints.
It didn't come with any Plastic sleeve or adhesive on the battery, so I used the plastic sleeve/wrap that was used on the original with the new battery, and the pull tab from the original also.
    Thanks!

How'd it go removing the cover? Trying it, I found I could use one more hand. One to hold the phone, the second to pull the cover with the suction cup and a third to put the card in at the same time. I got it in the end but wasn't as easy as I expected.

@@dom_the3166 I'm only cautious of replacing things on my phone because I replaced the screen myself and now pinching in to zoom doesn't work well unless I press down hard with both fingers. Single finger touches works fine. What pisses me off is this cell phone scam where the battery is no longer easily replaceable forcing you to "lease" another phone. You'll never stop paying for a phone. I love this phone now but the battery has weakened and seeing how complicated replacement is it would make most people throw up their hands and restart the "leasing" process when that person could have had this phone for an additional 2 years tops
