How To Cook Cajun Chicken Tikka Masala || New Recipe ||

  • Chicken Tikka Masala is a popular Indian dish that features marinated, grilled chicken chunks in a creamy, spiced tomato sauce. Adding the Cajun seasoning with marination and with sauce it's becoming more delicated Here’s a recipe to make it at home:
    Ingredients
    For the Chicken Marinade:
    1 lb (450 g) chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
    1 cup plain yogurt
    2 tbsp lemon juice
    2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
    2 tsp ground cumin
    1-2 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
    2 tsp ground black pepper
    1 tsp ground cinnamon
    1 tsp ground coriander
    1 tsp ground turmeric
    1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
    4 cloves garlic, minced
    For the Sauce:
    2 tbsp vegetable oil
    1 large onion, finely chopped
    4 cloves garlic, minced
    1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
    1-2 green chilies, chopped (optional, adjust to taste)
    2 tsp ground cumin
    2 tsp paprika
    1 tsp ground turmeric
    1 tsp ground coriander
    1 tsp garam masala
    1 can (14 oz) tomato puree or crushed tomatoes
    1 cup heavy cream or coconut milk
    Salt to taste
    Fresh cilantro, chopped, for garnish
    Instructions
    Marinate the Chicken:
    In a large bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, cumin, cayenne pepper, black pepper, cinnamon, coriander, turmeric, ginger, and garlic.
    Add the chicken pieces and mix well to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
    Cook the Chicken:
    Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
    Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto skewers or place them on a baking sheet lined with foil.
    Bake for 15-20 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and slightly charred. Alternatively, you can grill the chicken.
    Prepare the Sauce:
    Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
    Add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
    Add the garlic, ginger, and green chilies (if using), and sauté for another 2 minutes.
    Stir in the cumin, paprika, turmeric, coriander, and garam masala, and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
    Add the tomato puree and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Stir in the heavy cream or coconut milk and cook for another 5 minutes. Season with salt to taste.
    Combine and Serve:
    Add the cooked chicken pieces to the sauce and simmer for another 10 minutes.
    Garnish with fresh cilantro.
    Serve hot with naan bread or steamed basmati rice.
