SUNDAY SPECIAL DHABA STYLED CHICKEN MASALA GRAVY

  • Every body likes Sunday, And what make a Sunday special? Yes it’s a nice and juicy chicken recipe to have with rice in Sunday lunch… So we are here with a Sunday Special Dhaba Styled Chicken Masala Gravy recipe for you… Watch the video to learn and enjoy….
    INGREDIANTES:
    1. Chicken (with bones) : 500 gms.
    2. Onion : 2 pcs.
    3. Tomato : 3 pcs.
    FOR MARINATION :
    4. Ginger Garlic Paste : 2 TBSP.
    5. Kashmiri Red Chile Powder : 2 TBSP.
    6. Turmeric Powder: 1 TBSP.
    7. Cumin Powder: 2 TBSP.
    8. Coriander Powder : 2 TBSP.
    9. Curd : 1 cup.
    FOR GRAVY :
    10. Kashmiri Red Chili Powder : 1 TSBP.
    11. Turmeric Powder : 1 TSBP.
    12. Cumin Powder : 1 TBSP.
    13. Coriander Powder : 1 TBSP.
    14. Garam Masala Powder : 1 TSP.
    15. Cashews : 5-6 nos.
    16. Salt: As per taste.
    17. Kasuri Methi : 1 TSP.
    18. Green chillis : 2 nos.
    19. Fresh Coriander Leaves : 50 gm.
    STEPS :
    1. Marinate the chicken and set it aside for 30 mins.
    2. In a pot fry the onions (thin sliced), Tomato’s (4-5 pcs diced) and cashews for 5 mins and then make a fine paste out of it using mixture grinder.
    3. In the same pot add some more oil and fry the chicken for 7-8 mins.
    4. On another pot heat 1 cube of butter and 2 TBSP of refined oil and add the paste.
    5. Cook the paste for 4-5 mins then add all masala’s for the gravy.
    6. Now add the fried chicken into the gravy and sauté it for 7-8 mins properly and then cover and cook in low flame for 10 mins.
    7. Remove the cover add kasuri methi, garam masala and salt as per taste, mix well and cover and cook again for 8-10 mins until it’s done.
    8. Take out the recipe on your favourite bowl and add some green chillis and fresh coriander leaves for flavouring…
