Hello, Thank you for reaching out to SYNLETT. The battery life for call button and the pager is varied from user to user. Generally we recommend changing the battery for button and pager once every 4-6 months to ensure they function in the optimal performance.
It can be varied in different user environment. The signal range is about 300ft in open area. It could work even in multiple floors. But floors/walls might weaken the signal performance.

Why does my pager go off by itself?

my pager also goes off at times for no reason.
