His last apperance was WarioWare Move It! because there is a Mario Pinball Land microgame where you have to beat Petey Piranha, Egyptian Koopa and Big Boo (for levels 1,2 and 3 respectivly) while using the Mario ball and two Yoshi Eggs. The flippers are replaced by Joy-Cons and you have to imitate the movement of the flippers by flicking the Joy-Cons. The WarioWare series always had some deep cuts when it came to Nintendo's past, but hot damn, this was the deepest cut yet
I played it for about 10 minutes and I just concluded that the ball moves way too fast and the flippers give so little control to have any semblance of satisfying control. The developers did indeed make a Mario pinball game, but they didn't make a *Mario* pinball game. They didn't understand how to make a fun Mario game.
Pinball Land and Sticker Star really like mentally broke me. The former I never even finished at the time. This is the first time I'm even SEEING the Bowser boss fight. 😅. And the later I DID complete but i regret doing so. I was a dumb hopeful guy in 2012. But damn, you went OFF on this game HOLYYYYYYYYY. And I don't blame you at all... now imagine playing it as a kid back when the game first came out and the game just frustrated you a lot just to do ANYTHING. 😢
That's not to say adventure pinball games can't be done right. The best example would probably be Yoku's Island Express, which doesn't rely on pinball physics all the time, and awards you for collecting lots of fruit (which are plentiful in the game), as it can be used to purchase access to certain areas as well as the ability to quick travel between areas you've already been to.

I mean, I guess they tried It would have been easier (and probably better) to do one board based on each level with events that you can trigger Like, Pokémon Pinball R&S, that is really great and one of my favorite gba games, which is pretty simple in concept but is really fun
Sonic spinball on genesis isn’t that bad the game gear version Is way worse. Then another sonic spinball advanced another game I heard that was slightly better.
So the very first exposure to this game was Lonely Goomba’s old ass video on this very game After that I was curious to try the game out myself and see if I would think it’s as bad as he thought it was Years later I finally gave the game a shot on an emulator and…this became one of the most frustrating and miserable experiences I’ve ever had with a game in my life I could never fathom wanting to play this game again let alone 100% it without save states
Agreed so much. I played (and beaten) this game way back then and as someone who loves both the Mario franchise and pinball games, Mario Pinball Land is ungodly on many angles that I only ended up being frustrated than satisfied. Give me Mario Party Advance over this any day and I hated that game too.
This game had SUCH a cool concept but fumbled it miserably. I love actual pinball but this game understands nothing about what makes pinball good. The tables are bland empty areas with a few enemies moving around without any ramps, bumpers, drop targets, slingshots, or anything that make pinball engaging. The layout reminds me of those little non electric pinball machines that dispense bouncy balls more than a genuine pinball table. Besides that, the ball physics are horrid. NES pinball games had better and more consistent physics. The flippers feel sluggish, and spot shooting is a pipe dream. Like you said the majority of the time is spent trying to hit the enemies while hoping you don't accidentally go through a door. Great graphics, and I love the idea of combining pinball with a Mario adventure game, but this was a mess.
idk, maybe it does work. i mean, i like sticker star and its mechanics (i dont really see any other battle focused platformers with rescource management ala resident evil out there and i wish there were more of theese) so i might jive with this one.

the fast food tie-in toy for this game was better than the game itself.
3:46, try colliding into the key holes.
I know how to unlocking it I’m morso saying if you don’t have all the keys you’re basically soft lock lol
A pinball game makes a lot of sense for Sonic and Samus since they can roll into balls, but this is ridiculous
I absolutely hate, no, DESPISE this Bowser Battle with a burning passion that burns greater than the sun!
I think Mario’s pinball land should get a remake.

I played this game for 20 minutes on my ds and never played again
Bro why is your intro so loud. It hurts my ears at normal volume.
I checked the video editor and it seems I accidentally cranked it high as the thing has both the volume and mover under the same thing
LMAO
1:48 how did you miss that bro 😭
He was just leaving the room after getting the star.
Mario Pinball Land is not the worst.
Can't believe I wanted this game as a kid. It was quite underwhelming when I got it on the Wii U virtual console.

9:45 this is the angriest I've heard Connor and it's from Mario Pinball land of all things
What does he even say 😭

Ah yes, the game I tried out when I was 9, played for 5 minutes and never thought about again. My favourite!
So it's a worse version of Sonic Spinball... as if THAT GAME wasn't bad enough.

9:46 I could be wrong, but I don’t think he likes this game.
This feels like if Bennett Foddy made a Mario game
I've said before that it's the closest thing Nintendo has to a rage game.

That intro was loud ngl lol
I remember wasting 5 bucks on this game on Wii U. Worst game ever.
No lie i would play pinball land over sticker star.
i find the ideas fun and engaging. just needs a modern touch-up.

It would be cool if you make videos about Mario Golf Advance Tour and Mario Tennis Power Tour one day
Hope you had a good day
Quite possibly the worst official Mario game.

This game is significantly worse than Sticker Star. It's not even close.
This game kinda rules ngl
