I was able to get my hands on one of these replicade units, and i am completely blown away by it. The attention to detail is amazing. Get one before they are gone!
I grew up with DRAGON'S LAIR, and am very, very tempted to buy this miniature version of the animated game. The only problem is I'll know I'll never survive it to the finish. The amount of quarters I lost to the game could have, with interest through the years, at least bought me a decent, used condition Honda today.

That's Really Cool You've Got To Be A Guest At Don Bluth's House, One Of The All-Time Greats In Animation. I Loved The Secret Of NIMH, And An American Tail. Dragon's Lair Will Forever Be One Of My Favorite Video-Games Of All-Time. I've Managed To Finish Dragon's Lair On Hard Difficulty, w/3 Lives, Without Losing A Life, w/A Score Of 324,260. I Hope Don Bluth Will Still Go Forward With Doing An Animated Movie Version Of Dragon's Lair, To Follow Up w/The Upcoming Live-Action Ryan Reynolds NETFLIX Adaptation.
I hope he still makes an animated movie of Dragon's Lair too. I miss his kind of animation.

Don, I got my DL Replicade yesterday, and it was such a joy to have a miniature version of one of the games I loved the most. Dirk is also one of my favorite video game heroes. I think a lot of kids growing up in the 80's wanted to be like Dirk! Thank you Don for creating Dragon's Lair, thank you Lavalle for making this video, and thank you to New Wave Toys for making this instant treasured keepsake that I will cherish forever!

When this game came out, it was the first time that the arcade cabinet had a second monitor on top so others could watch the gorgeous visuals. I can't tell you how much it just blew our minds.

You didn't show the replica laser disc player inside the bottom back of the machine. And the mini laser disc.
An AMAZING Iconic game indeed! When I was a kid and played it, even as an adult using a 3DS, the quality of the art and animation actually distracts from playing the game, it's JUST THAT AWESOME! On the replicade you unboxed in the vid, how did the buttons and joystick feel? Did they feel solidly constructed? Can't say I'll buy one. Since I've already got the DS cartridge, and also the digital versions of Dragon's Lair 1 and 2, as well as Space Ace for the PS3. ^_^ Can the unit be plugged into a TV to play on a larger screen? Thanks for sharing this unboxing!! ^_^

Bummed out to hear about live action...how ironic is it that Dirk doesn't say anything. But Ryan Reynolds can't shut up... can't wait to see who will play Daphne... as long as Bluth is involved in it, just not what I expected
@@MrGundi69 I don't think Don Bluth approves of this live action idea, but if he wants Dragon Lair to come out at all, he has no choice.
It's going to be a live remake, and there's no doubt it's going to flop as bad as Cuties, or worse.

the only appeal of dragons lair is the novelty of the cabinet and laserdisc's amazing animation.
noone actually enjoys playing the objectively bad game.
this is a "why" moment.
