Back to basics! The perfect advise! Cornrows, which was once viewed as not pretty enough, or unacceptable is now being rocked hard by black models etc!, and are now seen as a great hairstyle to rock, even on the red carpet! No need to hide behind wigs etc as many tend to use as excusesnot to show their natural hair! Not throwing shade on wig wearers, I rock the occasional hair piece from time to time. However, get compliment compliments from both male and females when wearing my natural ''awkward' length hair... 🥰
Yes. Hair grows regardless, but, Protective style helps you retain that growth. Not just protective style: your hair care routine also plays a role in the over all health of your hair. ❤️
@@landa3121 it depends. A person who's always manipulating their ends will need more trims than someone who don't. I prefer dusting my ends instead 'trimming'. I have a video on that, kindly check it out
Hey New subbie here - thank you so much for the information. I’m trying to implement this - I notice I struggle to keep my protective style for long because of: 1. Frizz after a week😢 especially when my hair is in twists 2. Events that happen (I did my hair beginning of the year and now I have to undo the hair earlier than anticipated to attend the event with my hair looking fresh😢) it’s just difficult but imma try find ways to work around it. 😊
The thing I love about twists is, as it gets old,it gets finer with time. I really do not care about frizz But,if it bothers you much, you can simply retwist, instead of taking everything down and starting afresh.
1. You have to find out why you have bald spot. Was it from a hairstyle? If yes...then you're suffering from traction alopecia. 2. Stay away from things that will worsen it. Like tight hairstyles, weaves, wrong placement of wigs, shower cap or dagin bonnet. 3. Massage your scalp daily. I'll be making a detailed video on this
I don’t know what you mean by “nothing new here”, but, just so you know, there are hundreds and thousands of woc, that still do not know about this. So, even though everything has been covered by whoever, people like me, will still talk about it, to educate others 👌🏾 If many knew about this, they wouldn't have issues growing their hair .
Wow this is really something that most youtubers dont talk abt thank u so much❤
You're welcome. And, thank you for watching ❤️
You must've been sleeping under a rock. She has said absolutely nothing new. Everything has been covered here on YOutube.

This is simply amazing. I'm glad most of our hairstyles that was once viewed as 'local' is being rocked unapologetically.
So my hair doesn't grow because of protective styles; I'm able to retain length because of protective styles. Thanks a lot 🙏

Do you think we still need trims if the hair is always braided? I want to go a year in braids
