    I have a setback and did a big chop in September last year. This was a result of using gel constantly. The roots were thick. The rest much thinner. I am now cutting out chemicals and using natural diy products. I am incorporated a lot of what I have learned from you. I am seeing so much growth in such a short time. Keep up the good work.

    A silent hair killer is tap water that is hard. Essentially hard water is the worst for your skin and hair.
    Please use rain water whenever you can to bath and use on your hair.
    You'll see such an absolute amazing change.
    Ever since I started using rain water, i actually have my curls popping without putting any product in. Wet or dry my curls are still visible

    I agree, showed your video to a friend with 4C Low Porosity hair who was getting to the point of being scared to wash her hair as it just knotted up (today's tap water contains fluoride and limescale) and it she left it to dry naturally in a protective style it would be wet for days. She tried a tea rinse made with distilled water, 3 days after a henna treatment (which dried her hair out a little) and after watching your video. The tea rinse left her hair soft and drank up the tea within hours like a nourished starved plant.

    I abandoned plain water a few months ago. I have used only aloe vera juice on wash day and diy fenugreek tea and diy Amla tea to hydrate between wash days. My hair is shiny, thick, I have retained length and shedding has really been reduced. I had a huge shedding problem that I thought was just natural shedding until I began spritzing my scalp and hair with fenugreek tea every day between wash days! @@AnnalineRoenelOor Fenugreek tea is easily made by boiling Fenugreek seeds. Try 1/4 cup fenugreek seeds to 2-1/2 cups of water. Ring to a boil and reduce heat down to a low simmer. When the seeds are mushy and the water has a brownish color to it. Remove from heat and let cool. Strain into a separate dish/cup/measuring cup….let it continue to cool and then funnel into a mister bottle. You can add msm. Dissolve it into the fenugreek tea and use throughout the week. I use it daily… but, my hair is high porosity. I pitch the fenugreek seeds but some people keep them!! Good luck!! ❤️

    just want you to know that God loves you so much so that he gave his son Jesus, fully human and fully God to be a perfect sacrifice and die on the cross for our sins. One sin can take us to hell but by accepting what jesus' death burial and ressurection from the dead on the third day, if you truly believe that, you receive the holy spirit who changes your desires, who makes you seek after righteousness by convicting you of sin(which is what he did to me). If you accept Jesus, he grants you the gift of eternal life and give you purpose. God bless, i hope you see this.

      Wash and condition every night ! Hey..... the time alone on this is more than i have .

    • @CarolynForney
      @CarolynForney 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@janetg7605 My hair is relaxed, dries quickly and the beating of the shower water is a great detangler so combing is not necessary. No styling just braid, 2 strand twist or Bantu knot into a ponytail or two low pigtails. All three options result in curls when dry and loosened but I just braid and tuck it in. No pre poo or conditioning for a long time under heat . I only apply a non or low sudsing shampoo to my scalp only ,rinse then condition for 1-2 minutes and I’m done. I just discovered this some months ago and my slow growing hair that took four months to get enough new growth for a touch up now gets that amount of growth in one and a half months. I wish I followed my natural instincts in the past as opposed to believing the narrative about hair washing too often not being healthy. Although I’m relaxed I got this from the naturals.

      @@CarolynForney oh I see. I use rain water currently. But this natural hair journey at my age seems to be never ending. And tiring. ..and toooo easy to mess things up . 1 positive thing I have found is onion rinse. It’s excellent. Can literally feel the hair folicles growing . Just need to combate my hair drying too quickly. ……

    • @CarolynForney
      @CarolynForney 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@janetg7605 I’m 56 and although I’ve never had issues with my hair or a relaxer the growth was slow until I accidentally bumped into the daily more scalp washing. I didn’t want to try the onions for fear of the scent lingering . My hair doesn’t dry as quickly as it use to with the daily method . Could either be that the hair is longer so there is more hair to dry or that I’m holding on to moisture which is what I wanted. My hair is highly porous but now seems to be more balanced.

I used the deep conditioner yesterday overnight, followed by, rinse, leave in, oil and cream(scalp only) this morning, my hair never felt better.
