In today’s video, we shall be comparing two African countriesm Angola and Ghana, to see which comes on top.Angola and Ghana are two equally strong countries with many things in common. Though both countries are unique in their own ways, they somewhat have similar features. Many factors go into deciding which country is a better option such as the primary aim of the trip and what you intend doing in both Countries

Geography and Demography .
Angola officially the Republic of Angola, is a country on the west coast of Southern Africa. It is the seventh-largest country in Africa, bordered by Namibia to the south, the Democratic Republic of Congo to the north, Zambia to the east, and the Atlantic Ocean to the west. The capital and largest city of Angola is Luanda. A highly multiethnic country, Angola's 25.8 million people span tribal groups, customs, and traditions spread over 1,246,620 km2 of land area.Angola, although located in a tropical zone, has a climate that is uncharacteristic for this zone, due to the confluence of three factors; The Benguela cold Currentalong the southern part of the coast,the relief in the interior,and influence of the Namib Desert in the southwest.As a result, Angola's climate is characterized by two seasons; rainfall from November to April and drought, known as Cacimbo, from May to October, drier, as the name implies, and with lower temperatures. With average annual temperatures above 23 °Celsius , the interior zone can be divided into three areas:North, with high rainfall and high temperatures,Central Plateau, with a dry season and average temperatures of the order of 19 °C,South with very high thermal amplitudes due to the proximity of the Kalahari Desert and the influence of masses of tropical air.
Ghana, officially the Republic of Ghana, is a country located along the Gulf of Guinea and the Atlantic Ocean, in the subregion of West Africa. Spanning a land mass of 238,535 km2, Ghana is bordered by the Ivory Coast in the west, Burkina Faso in the north, Togo in the east, and the Gulf of Guinea and Atlantic Ocean in the south.Ghana's population of approximately 30 million spans a variety of ethnic, linguistic and religious groups. According to census, 71.2% of the population are Christian, 17.6% Muslim, and 5.2% practiced traditional faiths. Ghana is located on the Gulf of Guinea, only a few degrees north of the Equator, therefore giving it a warm climate.The climate of Ghana is tropical and there are two main seasons: the wet season and the dry season. Around 29% of the population is under the age of 15, while persons aged 15-64 make up 57.8% of the population. Close analysis of the demographics and geography of the country indicate that Angola is bigger in land mass than Ghana but Ghana has a higher population than Angola. It further shows that Angola’s temperature and climate is harsher due to desert effects meanwhile that is Ghana is more temperate and friendly. Hence, we give it up for Ghana in this round.
Infrastructure
Due to the extensive warfare, most of Angola's infrastructure has been destroyed however Angola is still a beautiful country. Luanda its capital city is very developed with beautiful houses and clean streets. There are 19,156km of paved roads and a total of 2,952km of rail tracks. There are 32 airports with paved runways and 217 with unpaved runways. Perhaps no sector has suffered more than transportation from the war. Roads, railways, and bridges have been severely damaged and more than 60% of the paved road network needs repair. The telecommunications industry is considered one of the main strategic sectors in Angola.In October 2014, the building of an optic fiber underwater cable was announced. This project aims to turn Angola into a continental hub, thus improving Internet connections both nationally and internationally.
Ghana on the other hand has been improving in its infrastructure for decades now to attain one of the best infrastructural systems in Africa. The soft components of Ghana’s infrastructure base have witnessed improving performance over the past two decades, thereby helping the country to maintain satisfactory growth. The country’s rising trade has been reflected in growing cargo throughput, which increased from 15.99 million in 2014 to about 23.13 million in

I don't support an United States of Africa. It sounds good, but it will not work. What we need to focus on is regional integration. West Africa, East Africa, Southern Africa, Central Africa, and maybe Northern Africa. That will make five strong united African countries. Then we need to go further by abandoning English, French and Portuguese. The Five regions should adapt Swahili as the language of Africa.

comparisons can be good, puts pressure in government knowing theres someone to keep up with. Most african countries suffer with endemic corruption , tribal favours. I don't think comparisons are the biggest enemy of African unity , instead lack of vision of a country. Look at Europe, union came after prosperity.

If religion is not taken care of it will be hard for Africa to stand together and the most important thing to do is to build a railway lines through out our continent for easy travelling and business. If railway lines are built today within Africa you will be surprised how business will grow in Africa. I'm from and I can take train to Angola meanwhile a Nigerian can take train to south Africa and Rwanda Kenya and Ghana and do business and come back at the same time. Imagine what is going to happen. It will boost our business and economy. The leaders should do something about it fast to bring togetherness business opportunities to our youth in the continent. Africa is too big to lack this

Well im disapointed in angola a big country full of oil, gold, diamonds and landspace yet it is one the poorest countries in the world😤 its full time the nation do better if i could of ruled within say 10 years angola economy would be twice the size of japan and south korea combined. we cannot compare countries but if we have to then Ghana is better than most of the countries in Africa in terms of everything. Ghana is always a beautiful country in many things. I am from Sierra Leone and I live in Ghana and I tell you the country is very very beautiful and the Economy of Ghana is well regulated. 1 dollar is only 5 Ghana Cedis And the environment is awesome. What a beautiful country of Ghana. Population is just 27 million. Ghana is well developed in Africa. the Airport in Ghana is very very modern and beautiful. the people in Ghana dress well and speaks good English with a very good assent.

Guys let’s no play games here, when take into account infrastructural development Angola is way ahead of Ghana. However in terms of public services, stronger institutions, exposure to the world Ghana is way better.
TACULAMANN Angola can not have infrastructure than Ghana,the reason is that Angola has centralized all its infrastructure in their capital city of Luanda,whiles Ghana practice decentralization,meaning that every region in Ghana must enjoy the same infrastructure like it’s capital of Accra

TACULAMANN, the exposure you mentioned is more to the English speaking world, whereas Angola has its strong exposure in Portuguese speaking nations. However, it doesn't make sense to compare the two, Angola only became truly independent in 2002, whereas Ghana has enjoyed its independence for long. Again, Africa hasn't done much to improve the lives of its people.

Do you have United nations of Europe? They are not the same people just because they are black. Some business deals together, yes. But not United nations of Africa. Nigeria alone is more than 200 million people
The reason for comparison is not discriminating, it's just for knowledge sake, so people should stop seeing it to be discriminating, whether Ghana or Angola both are two African countries and we love them both
