I'm Japanese. I had a wonderful experience at Fantasy Springs the other day. All the attractions were attractive, but my favorite is Frozen. I'm happy to have such a wonderful area in Japan!
Despite not being able to see it in person, it brings my great joy to see that true Disney magic continued, outside of the USA, even if no longer within it.
Ironically it continues because it is not within it. Disney tried to make OLC take Splash Mountain off the park, OLC said no, the ride is still there. The Tales of Brer Rabbit is a beloved children's classic in Japan, like Heidi and Winnie the Pooh.
Rides is the one thing not superior at Disney sea overall, though it does have some good ones. And this park is the California adventure equivalent of Japan
HOLY COW!!! This is one of the best reviews about a Disney park. The place is immaculate. Could Disney imagineers do this???? So what is up with Walt Disney World..... What a contrast..... Holy cow..... This place is what Disney is supposed to be all over........

Imagineers absolutely can do this when given the right resources. They still play a major role in designing for Tokyo Disney sea including this land. Unfortunately Walt Disney Co doesn't care as much about the parks as they do studios so imagineers have to work with limited budgets and resources in the Disney owned parks.
The Peter Pan area brought back happy memories of when that had Skull Rock and Captain Hook’s ship at Disneyland many years ago. I hope the sections they are hoping to add in Disneyland and WDW are just as immersive as this new land in Tokyo!
We will be in Tokyo Disney in 39 days! We are going to Tokyo to visit our son and daughter-in-law who are missionaries there. We are so excited to see them (it's been two years!) and we are all Disney fanatics and they haven't been yet. It will be so much fun to do together!!
Congratulations on your phenomenal video and experience documenting the opening of the latest and potentially best new theme park in the world. Your team did an incredible job covering this work and I sure hope to see this in person with my children.
The guy at 8:25 is not a random Arednelle citizen though. The one holding the cake. We DO know his name, it is Kai. And that maid from the beginning of the First Time In Forever, whom Anna spins around for a second before running off, her name is Gerda. This is a reference to the classic animated The Snow Queen which there seemed to have been two dubbed versions of. My sister and I watched the good dub on VHS. Along with an anime movie which was our first exposure to the genre, called Thumbelina: A Magical Story. It involves a girl named Mai who goes into the world of Thumbelina and encounters frog people.
Thanks AJ for all the great videos and current Disney info and help for your "older" followers. This video on Fantasy Springs was fantastic! Looking forward to the "bell" announcing the next one!❤
I’m visiting Tokyo in 7 months and I have been watching Tokyo Disney review from Japanese, , English, Korean and Chinese. Your review video is hands down the most thorough and easiest to understand and get to the point. I want to thank you and your team for such an informative video, I feel like I am in a better place and actually know what to expect.
Great video! Fantasy Springs looks amazing!!! My favorite part of the video was the ride review you did of the Frozen ride: the review itself was a well-done review, and the footage of the ride was amazing!!!!
You used to be able to go on Hook’s ship in DLP! Not sure if you still can but it’s right next to skull rock, they’ve taken a lot of inspiration from Adventure Isle in DLP it would seem.
Yes indeed! Adventure Isle at DLP is exactly what Fantasy Spring is in 2024! With similar PeterPan Lands with bonus Pirate Franchise in DLP, Frozen instead of Indiana Jones, and Tangled tower instead of Robinson’s Tree! FS looks like a polished, super modern and extremely detailed Adventure Isle !
Thank you so much for this vídeo!! I’m at Disneyland Hotel now, 1st time ever in Tokyo, and will return next month just to explore this new land.. of course I couldn’t get a vacation package as well hahah but Disneyland Hotel again next month, not too shabby at all
Wow amazing. My family wants to go for our next vacation. Time for us to start planning and researching. I’m curious how the travel process was. (from airport to hotel and vice versa) Thanks for the video!
There are a few ways to get between the airport & Tokyo Disney. Cheapest is the train, there are also shuttle busses you can book, or you can grab a taxi
Holy smoke that place looks so magical please put a new land like that here Disney ( By the way amazing video it really captures fantasy springs as a whole)
Galaxy Edge and Rise don't even come close to the immersion you get at DisneySEA on its slowest day. Once you watch Tangled in Japanese, you will understand why the new ride is sorely focused on the love-story element of the film. The Japanese dialogues and lyrics for the film are completely different from the original English versions, and thus At Last I See the Light is a totally different song with a different title focused on Rapunzel finally meeting that special someone and spending a wonderful time with him.
Thanks for sharing about Frozen world. I been kind of complaining about why this land wasn't showing anything of Frozen 2 but understanding how most lands don't really include sequels so I now understand this land is more important to the first popular movie.
You know what would be a perfect fit for this area? Disneyland Paris' late stage show, "The Forest of Enchantment". It captures the very essence of Fantasy Springs and the sinergy between fables and nature. If they're ever to open a theater or an arena in Fantasy Springs in the future, that should definitely be their go-to show.
I’m from Australia & had planned to go to WDW & had dived into your videos on the park. But we can no longer afford WDW so we are going to Tokyo. One my first thoughts was “but aj doesn’t have as many videos of there!” I was almost screaming when you went there again last time and seeing this one too has made me so excited! Planning on going in January so the crowds won’t be as crazy!
It looks incredible, but I feel like they poured so much into everything, BUT the Tangled attraction; it’s incredibly short with little story beats and a small handful of animatronics. The lantern scene is stunning, but I wish the whole attraction got that level of detail and affection.
I would love to see a “making of” documentary of this new land on Disney+, but guessing there won’t be since this is not WDW company (maybe there’s something comparable but probably in Japanese and not english?)
If you have the 1-Day Passport: Fantasy Springs Magic you'll be able to do them all. If you're relying on Standby Pass (this is the free, virtual queue equivalent) or Premier Access you'll only be able to pick one ride, BUT you could get one ride with Standby Pass and one with Premier Access so you would be able to do two in one day
Great overview video of the new land! I like how you give a brief synopsis of each area. However, I was a little surprised to see ride video footage of the Peter Pan ride. Other media said they weren't allowed to film in that ride unless their camera was pointing at themselves. Other rides were okay but not that one. I know they have different rules for different attractions/shows. It's disappointing when Americans go to another country's theme park and don't follow their rules.
Hi, great video. We have a vaca pkg at Miracosta for opening day. Do you know if those who are staying at FS hotel opening on the 6th will have early entry through FS hotel entrance on opening day? Usually, vacation packages don’t give early entry on check in day. Thanks for any insight you might have.
Very cool and very beautiful 😻. Tokyo Disney understands that you have to spend money to make money. Good for them. Tokyo Disney is one of a kind. Meow meow 😻
no, it opens for the public June 6th. Disney bloggers/youtubers/influencers got to go early but unless tokyo disney does a soft opening which they prob won't you won't be able to go until the official opening day
Am confused, so if I don't opt for a holiday package including a Disney Hotel (costs are exorbitant), can I just pay for a regular Disneysea ticket and then pay extra via DPA for each of the Fantasy Springs rides?
Either pay extra for dpa or use the free standby pass. Standby pass is pretty much virtual queue, but it can only be used once you're inside the park. You can only get one standby pass per hour
@@idk-zt8rx Thanks. I wasn't sure if paying DPA for Fantasy springs (and just that) was even an option. I thought you had to book an accommodation package as well or pay extra to add Fantasy Springs access to Disneysea. One way or the other, you'll have to pay for it though. Am guessing the Standby pass will be almost unusable in the early months of FS opening.
@@davidd5226 from the way it seems, you'll be fine with standby pass. You'll be able to get on 1 or 2 because the 3 big rides are really high capacity. Tinker bell will be the hard one to get on. This is based on wait times from cast previews. It could also be possible to get 1 dpa if you're lucky; though I'm predicting it will all br sold out within 15-45 minutes within park open.
We’ve got some more info a bit later in the video, but you’ll need to have a ticket to Tokyo DisneySea. Since Fantasy Springs will be so popular, they’ll be controlling how many people can be in that area of DisneySea. You can either get a free Standby Pass to enter or pay for Premier Access for one of the rides in the land in order to enter Fantasy Springs
There are a lot of other hotels around JR Maihama train Station, which is the main transportation access to Tokyo Disney Resort. Japanese locals travelling on budget also choose to stay at popular chain hotels like LiveMax and Apa located near other train stations at the same line as Maihama's. A 2 or 3 stations' distance makes a big diference in hotel prices.
The Peter Pan ride shouldn’t be a screen based attraction. It should’ve been like Mickey and Minnie’s runaway railway where it’s a combination of physical sets and projections. Better yet have another ride where your in the role of a pirate of captain hook’s crew as your trying to catch Peter Pan
i think the reason why fairy tinker bell's busy buggies uses a visible track instead of a trackless system is because if it used the other system, it wouldn't be able to operate in rainy weather because the water would mess up the vehicles' sensors and/or wheels, just like how luigi's rollickin' roadsters can't run in rainy weather
@@crisjapopcris1564Can’t. I’m going with family, and they actually want to do Japan stuff. Maybe I’ll get lucky and be able to participate in a soft opening. The fear was that it would be overcrowded, so we picked a time before the opening day. I wanted to go two weeks from now, after my daughter finished school, hoping we could beat all the other tourists that were off on summer vacation. But my husband wanted to wait a week, and did not understand why I was in such of a rush to get there. The other hope was that there would be fewer park guests because people would be waiting to go when it opens, but with it being the day before, I don’t know if it will be crowded with people who planned to be there multiple days.
Everything looks incredible, but I am a little bit let down that they went with a 3d-simulator ride for Peter Pan's attraction. The whole area looks incredible with the Pirate Ship and Skull Island but I really wish they'd gone with something else for the attraction. I know TDL has a Peter Pan dark ride similar to MK's but they could have done something like Pooh's Honey Hunt with the Lost Boys, Tinkerbell, or Captain Hook's crew
Among the many complaints I've heard about Tiana's Bayou Adventure is how Dr. Facilier is not in the ride. Granted. But Mother Gothel isn't in the new Tangled ride at Tokyo Disney Sea either. How come no one is complaining about that? Or is it that it's simply in the Tokyo Disney Resort and it can never do anything wrong? I'm genuinely confused. The criticism of one ride versus another about its lack of villains sounds like a double standard to me.
Yeah I'm going next year. The process to get in is too complicated this year. I get it might be for crowd control, but yeah the steps are just too much to bother.
but if you want to get on Elsa Frozen Journey then you should enter the park very early around 8AM by 8AM you are able to get the Elsa Frozen Journey pass as a standby pass after 2 houres you may be able to book another ride between Peter pan or Rapunzel.. but Rapunzel is hard to get a standby pass for but it's possible if you are lucky it(s all about time tables i thought Rapunzel is around 10AM 10:30AM may be Peter pan tho but it's all about timetables for the rides
We didn't want to wait to share Fantasy Springs so we added an extra video. We've got some more extra videos coming up soon with other big news and events!
Maybe on flavor or food types, but the food theming in TDS is leagues ahead. Flavor and variety are more important but Disney should be the exception that can meet all 3 standards and then some.
Seeing these animatronics only proves Twisted Wonderland should take over Tokyo Disney Sea. Especially since one of the main characters is a freaking adorable Robot. 0rth0 Shr0ud is the humanoid brother of prodigy technomantic engineer, Idia Shroud (reincarnation of Hades from Hercules and Prefect of the Ignihyde dorm of NRC). After your boss battle with Idia you discover that 0rth0 was created after an incident in Idia's childhood. During the chapter boss battles you will notice monsters with inkwells for heads almost puppeteering the students as their magic goes out of control. These creatures are Phantoms and the Shrouds run this sorta Men in Black organization in the flooded ruins of Thebes from the film, repurposed into STYX, where they study the creatures since before the Overblot (the term used to refer to what happens to mages when they over use their magic) epidemic at NRC, the Phantoms would force mages to use up all of their magic turning them into withered lifeless husks thus freeing them from their host when they have exhausted their magic and lifeforce. The Shrouds and the employees at STYX are tasked with capturing Phantoms roaming around and wiping away any evidence, including memories, recorded video evidence, damages, etc. of the Phantom's existance from the public. Idia when he was little was already a prodigy programmer, hacker, engineer, and inventor, even creating STYX's newest virus protection software and security system, known as the Cerberus program, at the age of 10. After a while of being cooped up in the top secret base below the ocean, and watching reruns of his favorite tv show, however, Idia and his brother decide to go on an adventure but they would have to reach the surface outside of the artificial dome surrounding the entire facility. in order to do this Idia hacks his own program unaware that testing was being done to one of the captured Phantoms and it ends up escaping and finding him and his brother. It takes a swipe at both of them and he passes out. The next thing Idia knows he is surrounded by the medical professionals and his brother is nowhere to be seen. After that fateful day where he realizes he will never be able to leave, He locks himself away in his room for several years. Everyone at STYX including his parents are worried until one day he comes out with a smile. He reveals his latest creation, 0rth0 Shr0ud, a robot in the very image and with the very name of his late brother. Programmed with his memories and personality. Everyone at STYX is disturbed by this Taboo magical engineering marvel that Idia presented. the biggest defense he could muster was that "this one won't break" before violently sobbing at the part he played in his brother's death. While 0rth0 starts out the game as just following his programming to emulate how Ortho would have behaved in similar situations, a glitch in that same programming had given him a will of his own, allowing him to make decisions that go against that initial programming. Developing his own unique interests and fascinations. And he genuinely becomes a third child in the eyes of the Shroud parents. Of all the animatronics i want to see, give me my flaming haired baby Brobot, Tokyo Disney Sea! Grumble grumble.
The Frozen and Tangled rides seem well made, but they just retell the stories from the movies so it's nothing original. Peter Pan is just a (vastly inferior) Spider-Man ripoff. They look interesting for a first time ride but that's about it. Not sure what all the hubbub is about when most of the existing offerings at DisneySea are at the very least just as good, while being older and probably costing less money. Still much better quality than 80% of the US parks though LMAO.
free guide? are you kidding me i download it and the first thing I see is 38$ or 104$ for a bundle... so no it's not free free free guide ( like you mention it)

I just cannot get over how awful the Peter Pan ride is. I cannot believe that this is an all screen attraction. I never thought in a million years that Tokyo Disneyland would build an attraction like this. This Peter Pan ride will have absolutely no nostalgia in the future. Anyone can sit at home and watch their screens

WOW, they know how to do Disney then Disney in the states do! Best Disney park hands down.
The theming, snacks, and merch in Tokyo put WDW to shame. If Walt were around, every Disney park would be made to keep pace with Tokyo Disney Sea.
OLC should start running all of Disney. Funny how they do a better job than Disney itsself.
Does Disney sea have better rides than Disneyland Japan?

i think the reason why fairy tinker bell's busy buggies uses a visible track instead of a trackless system is because if it used the other system, it wouldn't be able to operate in rainy weather because the water would mess up the vehicles' sensors and/or wheels, just like how luigi's rollickin' roadsters can't run in rainy weather
Maybe you could photograph that tray
how dare they open this one year after I go there!!! grr
Going to be at DisneySea on June 5th! …so… …good idea? Bad idea?
Oh! Extend your stay! It's a once in a lifetime opportunity...
Can anyone point where the cheshire cat is?
Among the many complaints I've heard about Tiana's Bayou Adventure is how Dr. Facilier is not in the ride. Granted. But Mother Gothel isn't in the new Tangled ride at Tokyo Disney Sea either. How come no one is complaining about that? Or is it that it's simply in the Tokyo Disney Resort and it can never do anything wrong? I'm genuinely confused. The criticism of one ride versus another about its lack of villains sounds like a double standard to me.
We are heading there in Tokyo Disney at fantasy Springs inJune! we cannot wait!!!!!!!
Have so much fun!!
@@DFBGuide thank you so much! happy mothers day!!!
Ugh if only the Disneyland forward plan gets built with an Oriental Land Co budget…long shot but a girl can dream😂
Yeah I'm going next year. The process to get in is too complicated this year. I get it might be for crowd control, but yeah the steps are just too much to bother.
What is everyone's favorite ride at any Disney theme park in the world and why?
Alice in Wonderland in Disneyland. I turned 5 on the way to Disney in 1974.
I saw the live!
but if you want to get on Elsa Frozen Journey then you should enter the park very early around 8AM by 8AM you are able to get the Elsa Frozen Journey pass as a standby pass after 2 houres you may be able to book another ride between Peter pan or Rapunzel.. but Rapunzel is hard to get a standby pass for but it's possible if you are lucky it(s all about time tables i thought Rapunzel is around 10AM 10:30AM may be Peter pan tho but it's all about timetables for the rides
I'm surprised that DisneyFoodBlog released a video on Sunday
Me too
We didn't want to wait to share Fantasy Springs so we added an extra video. We've got some more extra videos coming up soon with other big news and events!
I see
Okay this new area is great and everything but is Repunzle's Tower also a bathroom? No? Didn't think so. Checkmate, Tokyo.
So, you can only get on 1 ride for free per day at Fantasy Springs??
this channel is my MrBeast
Actually, the ride goes back to Neverland so you step out into Neverland, which makes linear storytelling sense.
They’ve gotten us beat here in the US as far as attractions, but we’ve got them beat on the food part imo
Maybe on flavor or food types, but the food theming in TDS is leagues ahead. Flavor and variety are more important but Disney should be the exception that can meet all 3 standards and then some.
But the food is marketed for the Japanese people.
early ❤
Disney Sea….doing everything every other disney park does for details lol
Still much better quality than 80% of the US parks though LMAO.
free guide? are you kidding me i download it and the first thing I see is 38$ or 104$ for a bundle... so no it's not free free free guide ( like you mention it)
Welp....
If you want a deal on that hotel, join DVC! 😉
Can I use my DVC there??

Hi. Sorry for the late reply. Well... All of the other resorts, for Tokyo, are available, so, I don't see why this should really be any different.
Good luck.
ITS NOT FAIR ITS NOT FAIR ITS NOT FAIR ITS NOT FAIR ITS NOT FAIR ITS NOT FAIR ITS NOT FAIR ITS NOT FAIR ITS NOT FAIR ITS NOT FAIR ITS NOT FAIR ITS NOT FAIR ITS NOT FAIR ITS NOT FAIR
If Disney did not want you to steal the trays, why did they make them so desireable?
that's what I'm saying!
😂😂😂😂 They test us to the limits, everything in Tokyo Disney is too kawaii!
I just cannot get over how awful the Peter Pan ride is. I cannot believe that this is an all screen attraction. I never thought in a million years that Tokyo Disneyland would build an attraction like this. This Peter Pan ride will have absolutely no nostalgia in the future. Anyone can sit at home and watch their screens
also that's a lie one ride per day with a stand by pass NO you can book all the rides if you are lucky every 2 houres you should be able to book another standby pass ... ONE PER DAY WHAT A JOKE
