For those who wonder why Ziqi hasn’t uploaded any new video, she is going through some tough time fight for the fair share of her name brand. Her MCN makes huge money in China selling Liziqi brand merchandises, but Liziqi did not get much because of her lack of experience when she signed those contracts. That’s why she stopped creating new content to protest. Hopefully this whole thing can be settled in her favour and she can get her name brand back.

I challenge you to look up the US’s history of capitalism, it was even worse. Liziqi’s case is due to her lack of experience in business world, things would be much different if she hired someone professionals in the first place. No one stole her brand, she gave out her rights without knowing it.

She basically stopped making videos to stop making money for that company. She also couldn't make any content independently with her name because that company had the rights to her name.

Long story: when her video started to get more attention in China’s platforms, a businessman and his wife talked her into a joint venture that gave them the majority ownership, registered the name liziqi as a company brand name, and later used liziqi as a brand to authorize numerous products without Li's approval and participation, and most of all, withheld 90% income from youtube from Li even thought the couple were not involved in any of her video ideas, creations or productions at all. Initially liziqi wanted only to concentrate on creation of videos so she was happy to let someone else handle the business and didn’t really care about how much they were making. Later when she found out the numerous products being produced using her name weren't up to her standards and disagreed to such business expensions, she was overruled due to that she lost the use of her own name liziqi. So she sued to get her name back. She stopped creating videos due to the lawsuit. Now she has won the suit, let's hope she'll be back soon.

For those who are asking about Liziqi, she is fine but has been seeking out legal help to sort out an unfair business deal with a promotional company she used to use to manage and promote her content and products. She has always been in full control of her content, but only in partial control of the business side of the things. She was a bit naive when she started to work with the private business who said would help her to grow and she signed away a lot of her business rights. Maybe she really only wanted to focus on content creation and leave the business management to others. But right now she realized she got taken advantage of and she wanted her rights back. She deserves better anyway. I think she is taking a break from uploading until she can sort out the business dispute. It’s a good growing lesson for her. Being so big, she has to grow into a savvy business woman also to protect her hard work.

For those who wonder why Liziqi started to post again and to put this long dreadful time into closure: Li Ziqi has officially won her legal battle with her former MCN, Weinian, and it’s huge! After a tough fight, she now owns 99% of her company, with Weinian almost completely kicked out-they went from holding 51% down to just 1%, and their founder had to step down from the board. This gives Li Ziqi full control of her brand and the “Li Ziqi” trademark,this win means she could finally return on her own terms.

She sued the company in 2021 for this, and stopped making videos in the meantime. At least it ends the extortionate terms of the contract. I wish her the best of luck with this and hope she gets the justice she deserves.

@@msttamanna739 the contract she signed with the people that film her videos was unfair, she thought she was a shareholder but they basically own her brand name, her content and entire work, and she's not receiving the proper payment. That's what I read in the comments. They had an argument and since then she can't focus on posting videos/isn't able to.

For those who wonder why Ziqi hasn’t uploaded any new video, she is going through some tough time fight for the fair share of her name brand. Her MCN makes huge money in China selling Liziqi brand merchandises, but Liziqi did not get much because of her lack of experience when she signed those contracts. That’s why she stopped creating new content to protest. Hopefully this whole thing can be settled in her favour and she can get her name brand back.

I challenge you to look up the US’s history of capitalism, it was even worse. Liziqi’s case is due to her lack of experience in business world, things would be much different if she hired someone professionals in the first place. No one stole her brand, she gave out her rights without knowing it.
We all miss her, but she went through a lot of hardship and challenges from people all over the world. She fought a long battle. Let her heal and enjoy life. She taught us so much through her videos. She basically stopped making videos to stop making money for that company. She also couldn't make any content independently with her name because that company had the rights to her name.

I’m glad she showed us the process of making salt this is actually a style that is slowly fading away. You don’t have many people who are in the salt business. Show love to all the hard working salt farmer, she showed support instead of just going to the store to buy salt. Most salt sold in the store doesn’t have as many minerals in is also she cooking for her grandma so many this salt is of better quality. Also good for her on all her modern day tech from the drones to her new car.. I still like that she’ll ride a bike or a horse even is she has updates modern comforts.

Later when she found out the numerous products being produced using her name weren't up to her standards and disagreed to such business expensions, she was overruled due to that she lost the use of her own name liziqi. For those who are asking about Liziqi, she is fine but has been seeking out legal help to sort out an unfair business deal with a promotional company she used to use to manage and promote her content and products. She has always been in full control of her content, but only in partial control of the business side of the things. She was a bit naive when she started to work with the private business who said would help her to grow and she signed away a lot of her business rights. Maybe she really only wanted to focus on content creation and leave the business management to others. But right now she realized she got taken advantage of and she wanted her rights back. She deserves better anyway.
I think she is taking a break from uploading until she can sort out the business dispute. It’s a good growing lesson for her. Being so big, she has to grow into a savvy business woman also to protect her hard work.

@@jaspreetkaurgill5117 Liziqi has been on hiatus due to a legal dispute with her content network who over commercialise her brand against her wishes, and who make almost all the profits from her brand, leaving her with barely anything. She sued the company in 2021 for this, and stopped making videos in the meantime. At least it ends the extortionate terms of the contract. I wish her the best of luck with this and hope she gets the justice she deserves.

@@msttamanna739 the contract she signed with the people that film her videos was unfair, she thought she was a shareholder but they basically own her brand name, her content and entire work, and she's not receiving the proper payment. That's what I read in the comments. They had an argument and since then she can't focus on posting videos/isn't able to.

@@dianmaulana4909 She basically signed a contract with MCN a company called Weinian that "helped" her manage the online community and monetize her brand he basically stole her channel and brand and used her name to gain more influencers and also took 51% of her shares and that 41% was given to another company but it was under the same guy and he basically stole everything but people kept on hating her for all the money she gained but she literary didn't get anything then she sued them and finally has her channel back but she hasn't posted in 2 years. The part where she was furiously running to pick those leaves at just the right time to plate her food with was an adorable touch of humanity.
