That pool right next to the ocean is the Bondi Icebergs. You have to swim there all year around to be a member. Good place to meet friends.

Good to see a visitor's view of Sydney, positive and upbeat. We lived in rural Central NSW before moving to New Zealand and used to dread having to go into Sydney for whatever reason. You found the great spots to explore.

In Australia you'l find that the term "European" early setters or colonists is used pretty frequently, because a large proportion of arrivals in the convict and colonial era were Irish. Being predominantly from the Catholic south of Ireland they definitely didn't consider themselves "British." To them, the "British" were occupiers of their homeland.

As an old Sydney girl who now lives in QLD. I don’t understand the tourist fascination of Bondi beach. I can name 50 other beaches in NSW that are just as nice looking if not better looking, less touristy, have less crime and have cheaper food than that tourist trap. No beach in Australia is rubbish looking but this Bondi fascination tourists have I don’t understand. Is it because it’s easier to say Bondi compared to Tamarama or Cloverly or Manly? Or is it because of the Bondi Rescue TV show?

I don’t know how to contact you - I don’t have social media. I hope you see this comment??
Could you please do some videos around affording housing and travelling at the same time? Also how did your family take it when you got married without them?
The cost of living is so high (everywhere) I’m in Australia. I want to travel more (29F) and my boyfriend wants to secure a house (30M). We have been together for 2 years and we haven’t travelled together. I’ve done a lot of travel and I really want him to experience it too. I just really need our first trip to be a good experience for him so he can see we can do both (house and travel). Okay so questions:
    1) How do you and Carrie manage money to be able to afford grounding yourself and travelling too.
    2) How did you and Carrie get on the same page about what you wanted in your early 30’s? There is so much pressure to buy a house, or pack-up and travel while you can, or get your career going, or have babies (all full-on big life changes). What were the questions and discussions you had to get on the same page/make a plan?
    3) Any suggestions on where to travel for a first trip as a couple.

They were not “Stone Age”. They made the first flying aerofoil, they cultivated and tended the land, they built complex fish traps in rivers. Sadly there is a history of racism in our British history, most of us whitefella Aussies respect the 240+ Indigenous nations, their art, science, culture and spiritual link to “Country”. Always was, always will be..
