    1. Make a physical playbook, with possible contingencies, put it on your desk.
    2. Deliberate Practice: Skill Development and Scrimmaging
    3. Record your calls or interactions (he says "Game Film" cuz he's a sports head)
    4. Warm up before hitting the phones or posting job listings (Get your voice warm, practice/scrimmage)
    5. Skip the rest of the video unless you wanna hear him pitch his coaching services and try to make you click the link in the description to a sales funnel where he gets your email to spam you with marketing emails trying to get you to buy.

I’ve been recruiting for 15 years. I feel scripts to me gimmicky. You obviously need to find what works for you. I do agree with practice, practice, practice!

I think they can work for beginners to see what works and what doesn't work for them. But yeah with experience they become unnecesary

I hate scripts and never use them, I think if you need a script to speak to someone then your not a true salesman. I’ve only been recruiting 11 months but when I started at my agency they give me this very full, script based training. I tossed it, and I’ve been doing very, very well. Now with that being said I do start my interview and end it the same way every time, And I do use templates for everything debriefing from interviews, client contacts, I use the same initial contact, and ending words, but what’s in the middle is for the most part winging it and adjusting to the clients personality.

Scripts are gimmicky. It’s about learning your delivery.

this is funny i received a script message from a recruiter with 'hi wrongname, blah blah blah,' and then i received again another ' hi myname, blah blah blah...' i answered back myname is not here now but you can talk to wrongname if you like... nyahahahahhaha

The first tip, "Develop Your Playbook" was as abstract as the Abe Lincoln drawing. Can you place it to a real life situation?

You dont need a script. You need to be human. This is why UK recruiters clean up in the USA.

Hi David, I love the content man, really creative and nads on tactical you are teaching. I am inventing an innovative pet hair remover that rids hair/dirt from fabrics in furniture and clothing and currently am looking to build a team of sharks, primarily in the engineering/design realm. I need some real professional help to find these right-fit experts. As you know, no matter the tools or resources you give someone, certain things about recruiting and persuading the best of the best to go to battle with you is a matter of will and talent, in my humble opinion, but I could be dead wrong also. What I would say is that If someone is hunting or tracking down a monster, wolf, lion, etc, it simply takes a wolf to catch a wolf, in lamens terms. I would be grateful if you could help me out as I have been working on this project for 14 months now and know exactly the sort of help I need.
Hope to hear back from you soon
    Thanks
    Jon Bonafide-
