This woman is the truest example of a supportive wife, who honors her husband. At the beginning, she didn’t rush in to speak for him. Her silence spoke volumes, she believed in his strength, and knew that he’d find his voice. God bless you both. May the happy memories of your beautiful daughter carry you through your grief. ❤️‍🩹

😢😢Facts, Nicole. I believe grief is one of the most powerful yet deeply individual and personal of all of the journeys we take while here on earth. I've said this before... MANY MANY times before.. But I will definitely say it here again: A parent losing a child is so very much against the order of the Universe that there isn't even a word for it... in ANY language; Amber and Max.. What a gorgeous and vibrant daughter you had and now that I know her name and her story, I will say Kaylee Burger and remember her journey with that AWESOME CRAFT SESH she had where she put her upside down fingers with PERMANENT ink everywhere..including foreheads and cap bills (She's always right above your brain and your hat, Max... never, EVER to leave! She will always look over you both until your spirits are together once again never to part. Please accept my deepest condolences.

I'm so sorry for your losses. I lost my 20 yr old daughter in 2011 to a heroin overdose. She was actually put in the ICU on life support as well. They told me she was brain dead. No activity whatsoever. She went through two sets of tests by two different Dr's, which is protocol. We ended up taking her off life support the next night. She passed 10 minutes later. Addiction is an ugly disease. It is very tricky as well. God help us all get through our losses.

I am so so incredibly sorry for your loss. I am a recovering IV drug addict. I would put anything I could get my hands on in my body. I am 9 years sober. My husband is also 9 years sober. This could’ve easily been one of us. My brother is in active addiction and this is my worst nightmare. I know this disease from both sides of the coin. Living in active addiction and loving someone in active addiction. I am so lucky that I got out literally as this fentanyl epidemic started. It was all over the papers and the news. I will be thinking of Kaylee and your family for days to come now. These stories touch my heart in a way no one else can understand. I pray you find peace. I know as an addict, she loved you more than you will ever know and please know she hated the hold these drugs had on her…. Drugs take ahold of your heart and brain and I will never be able to explain it. Nothing else matters, only that drug.

Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
we since birth live in the devils kingdom, this earth here, it shall be created anew, but not yet, still is the church time = still time for souls to get saved and be raptured up. until we come to repentance and born again, we remain living according to the devil.
      devils expectations to us are:
lie/deceive kill destroy remain wicked sinner who praise death daily.
because devil is the father of lies:
John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
      GOD `s expectations to us:
      come to repentance
      come out from BABYLON
      born again
      live holy
do the will of you heavenly father.
Matthew 9:13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
John 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
1 Peter 1:16 - Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

When you said August 17th my heart skipped a beat. I almost lost my battle to the same poison on that day, 2023. After more than a decade long addiction, I've been clean for 8 months. Its not the first clean stint ive had, but its the first time i truly want to stay clean. My heart goes out to your family. I watch these stories to keep me humble, to remind me of what i almost did to my family and loved ones. Thank you for being a voice of awareness. I will pray for your family, for your beautiful daughter, all of the other lost souls, and those still stuck in this awful addiction. I will never forget your daughter. Man these never get easier to watch 💔. Anyone struggling I’m here, we’re here. I found sobriety when everyone and the world thought I was behind reprieve. You can too. Just know that. As long as you still draw breath and have a pulse, there’s hope.
The only reason I’m alive and these kids are dead is because my addiction happened before theirs. It was heroin, oxy, opanas. Horrible in their own right. But fentanyl is so much more deadly. You won’t live long.
There’s a reason you see old tweakers, but have you ever seen an old fentanyl/opiate addicts? No they don’t exist. That’s because they are ALL DEAD.

Thank you. Yes there is recovery. My son is living proof of it but as a mother I still fear a relapse. It’s always going to be a fear of mine. Keep telling your story because you are the hope for others who are struggling. My son overdosed on Fentanyl and as I breathed life into him (CPR) through the grace of God he survived. Today he volunteers his time to others and being of service to God and others is part of recovery. Parents, you’ve got to educate your children about fentanyl! It is a death sentence. I won’t even take a Tylenol from a friend. None of these victims of Fentanyl died in vein. We need stricter laws to hold anyone who gives any drug to another person accountable! I call it the 11th commandment. Thou shall not take a pill from anyone! I used to literally chase dealers down the street when they would stop by my house to see my son. I’d grab their plate numbers yet the police would turn a blind eye. Addiction destroys families and will kill your loved ones. Reach out for help. Petition the court if needed to stipulate your loved one into rehab. Fall down 8, get up 9 but don’t give up! God bless these families. For today I am the lucky mom but I feel like I’m in line to get that dreaded phone call. Go to your state house and shout your child’s name and demand change! We did more for 911 that murdered 3k people yet 100s and thousands of people are murdered by fentanyl and our government has done nothing. Keep fighting! 💝🌷

I couldn’t have said it better myself. I found recovery May 18, 2016. Everyone thought there’s not a chance in hell she’ll get clean and stay clean. Well I’m here to say I did it. It was divine intervention that saved me. My mom also played a huge part in my recovery. She works for a detention center in my area and she’s head of work release and drug court so when I was ready and willing she was there picking me up off the floor and getting me to a rehab asap. She also is a no bullshit type of woman. There was never any enabling or any of that. I either got clean or stayed far away from her and my family. It saved my life. If anyone is struggling get help. It’s not always easy but it’s always worth it. I promise. What the first comment said about why you never see old timers in the meetings who were fentanyl addicts is so true. They don’t exist. You will die. That’s the only end game if you continue to use fentanyl. Even since I got clean in 2016 things are so different. I was a IV heroin or really anything user and you couldn’t just go buy fentanyl like they do now. You might get some here and there but it’s out of control now. Jellyroll recently spoke to congress about the fentanyl crisis and he said it perfect. Fentanyl makes the Sackler Family (the ones who created OxyContin) look like a bunch of saints.

So scary & I try to educate my kids that you cannot experiment or anything. When we were kids we took things all the time that were given to us. Thanks to the family for sharing their difficult stories. My nephew is in a Rehabilitation Center as I write this, from whatever drug he is having trouble staying away from. It's dangerous, whether it's meth or fentanyl and though he has been to rehab before, maybe this time will be his last time quitting. It's difficult to know how to support a family member who's addicted. - You want to help them, but the usual way, lending or giving them money could be detrimental, so you can't reliably help them that way.

For me, my addiction was very internal. It's how you I felt about myself. I am an ex-addict. I guess I'm still an addict cuz are you ever cured? After 14 years of therapy and sobriety, I now understand that it was only ever about me. My codependency. My low self esteem. My need to want to be loved and feel worthy. I turned to substance and people on the outside to make me feel good bc I wasn't able to see my worth. I wasn't able to see what my contribution was. It was situational in a certain sense. Where I was in that moment and who I was around, but in the end, it was how I saw myself. It took a long time to figure that out. I'm grateful I had the family support to help me beat it. I'm also grateful I did it for myself in the end. I watch these videos and it hurts my heart knowing these beautiful kids never found peace. And their families deal with this regret and guilt for something they had no control over. Bless you. They say time heals all wounds, but it doesn't ever heal the heartbreak you feel when you lose a child so senselessly. I hope these stories can open the eyes of others who are in this situation and can help guide them to help their family members who need the therapy and guidance to find themselves again.

this is the realest story i’ve watched. the dad is in so much pain from so many different things, not just his daughter dying infront of him but the bio mom not giving af about the situation from the start, them knowing the seller and the cops not doing everything in their power to catch him, the doctors being rude and inconsiderate during this hard time and the “friends” who essentially killed her. personally he did better then i would have. and the step mom is an angel, well spoken, clear emotions, and sharing the good AND difficult memories. they don’t mask what their child participated in they don’t sugar coat the fact they allowed her to smoke weed. they did what they could. they were the best parents they could have been, everyone talks about signs and ways to stop it but kids are going to be kids. i’m 21 i should have died years ago and my parents have done everything they can. not necessarily in the realm of drugs but parents do what they can, their not super hero’s but they try they really do, and the funeral fights i’m so sorry, my family knows who’s allowed and who isn’t due to that exact thing.

Once someone's an adult, there's only so much you can do to help someone, and it sounds as though you guys did it all. I hope you find peace and some relief from the obvious pain of your broken hearts soon. Sending you warm wishes 😊

Being a healthcare worker for many years and some of that in the ICU, my heart broke for everyone that had to go through the tragic loss of a child. It is easy to blame us for not doing what family thinks we can do to make them better but reality is we cannot break down every time as we would mentally not survive! It’s not that we don’t care, we absolutely do! We have a job to do and we are human beings with feelings and love in our hearts. We have to be there for every patient! This is one of thousands of these cases that have become an epidemic! Again, my heart breaks for this family 💔. I see no end in sight 😢

My sweet holy precious father GOD!!! This one….. out of all of these docs that I have seen, never have I had to stop and come back… until the beginning of this one when that brave, strong dad said he couldn’t do it. Sir, bless you and your amazing wife. Thank you for being the parents that you are, and thank you for sharing. Thank you Texas pictures, your helping educate, and save lives. A hard reminder to me to STAY SOBER. This was devastating and necessary. Thank you everyone. Blessings to all ❤

This one was difficult. Every time I see Texas pictures, I am like, "Man another one?!" but these poisonings are happening everyday. It needs to be constantly in our face because Sackler, Purdue, and the cartels wish we wouldn't talk about it. They want us to keep it under hushed tones. So we have to have the open conversation. In response to Monica's death I worked at a club where the same thing happened. Girl was on the floor appearing to be having an over dose and multiple people told me not to call the ambulance. I called. She was in fact not OD'ing. When she was able to, she ran from the ambulance and I had to explain to the EMT team what happened. Everyone told me I was wrong for calling, but hearing testimonies like Monica's I am glad I tried. No regrets.

I'm so so sorry for both of your loss and I was on her to meet you both on the virtual the other day... Lost my daughter in March of 2020 to a Fentanyl and cocaine overdose at the age of 27 leaving behind four young children who had to be adopted of our family.😢

USA is a wonderful country. I visited once and fell in love with this amazing beautiful country. Drugs has destroyed it. I have attended few drug awareness courses and was really surprised that meth started in one city and like a wildfire it spread to the whole country within a year! This is shocking considering how big USA is...unbelievably sad...

His grief is soooo raw WOW! I feel so bad for him… and her too. She’s a wonderful support system for him as well. I pray they both heal and all of the loved ones too 🙏🏾❤️
