Picked up the Lariat hybrid from Tim. I drive a lot in the city so love the fuel economy. Would love to have the ranger but only when the PHEV lands.
😮Isn't the Bronco a truck? Myself, I went with the F-150 XL super crew 5.0 STX 4wd rear locker for only $37k (MSRP $53k) gets 20 mpg on the highway. Traction control is brilliant in nasty weather. It has a very quiet car-like ride. Absolutely worfh the money I paid for it.
I think that you should have looked at the STX as the value proposition in the F-150 stack. It's in between the XL and the XLT. The only glaring issue I have with the F-150 XL STX is no heated seat in the base package. It has multiple modes (eco, normal, sport, slippery, snow/sand, mud/ruts) which are highly effective in nasty conditions. It has excellent payload (over 2k lbs) and towing capability. It also was just about the same price for the 4wd STX as the 2wd XLT.

@@valleydude5000 nothing wrong with the XLT, it's a nice spec, but value is slightly less - however, it's not like you are not getting additional features, but whether those features are worth it to you personally. What I got was right for me... What others get will hopefully be the right truck for them.
STX offers the best value in half ton and the Super Duty
Ranger fits my needs perfectly
Own '22 F150 Tremor an love it. My 4th F150 in 35yrs. Cant beat em. Getting a '24 Maverick hybrid for my son. 💯
I like the Ranger only because I can afford it. The majority of F-150’s cost around $67k!
The Chrome-like PVD is just a Chrome finish on the aluminum wheels. I have it on my '21 Ranger and it has held up really well. It's chrome without the negatives in my experience so far.
The Maverick is very capable., and a good value. I think the F-150 has become over priced. I've had a few F150s but found they are very large, won't fit in the garage. Also parking spaces have shrunk. The sweet spot is the Ranger. Great size, you can add all the options that the F-150 has if you want. Ranger / Ranger Raptor for me.

I have a 2010 F-150 XLT EXTRACAB 4x4 in Blk keep up maintenance and clean interior plus good S & W tires might not need another one.... but have cruised around the dealership and those LARIATS could change my mind...
We have a 2023 Maverick XLT AWD, LUX, FX4, 4K Tow, Hard tri-fold cover after selling our 2019 Ranger Lariat FX4, Sport, Tow pkg. We kept the 2008 F-150. My wife likes the Maverick but I miss the Ranger tbh.
I have a 2020 Lariat F150 and it's awesome and too much of a truck for me at this time. Kids grown and it just hauls me and my briefcase. Ordered the Ranger and I should get it next month. Really excited. The 7,500 towing capacity is plenty for me and my text trailer.
Can't beat em. Run good full synthetic engine oil & Motorcraft filters always. Getting '24 Ranger XLT FX4 soon. Be 2 Ford trucks in driveway. -NY
