It ain't no use to sit and wonder why, babe
    It don't matter, anyhow
And it ain't no use to sit and wonder why, babe
If you don't know by now
When your rooster crows at the breaks of dawn
Look out your window and I'll be gone
You're the reason I'm traveling on
Don't think twice, it's all right
It ain't no use in turning on your light, babe
    That light I never knowed
And it ain't no use in turning on your light, babe
I'm on the dark side of the road
But I wish there was somethin' you would do or say
To try and make me change my mind and stay
We never did too much talking anyway
So don't think twice, it's all right
It ain't no use in calling out my name, gal
    Like you never done before
It ain't no use in calling out my name, gal
I can't hear you any more
I'm a-thinking and a-wond'rin' walking down the road
    I once loved a woman, a child I'm told
I give her my heart but she wanted my soul
Don't think twice, it's all right
    So long honey, babe
    Where I'm bound, I can't tell
Goodbye's too good a word, babe
So I'll just say fare thee well
I ain't saying you treated me unkind
You could have done better but I don't mind
You just kinda wasted my precious time
But don't think twice, it's all right

There are some songs that remind me of a particular woman I have known, and I can't separate them from that song. And then there is this song, which reminds me of EVERY woman I have ever known
Not entirely or maliciously for any of them-- but they keep cycling through my head like a kaleidoscopic slide show. The song just applies to bits and pieces of my memories of each of them- fun memories and painful ones mixed all together.
"You could've done better... but I don't mind...You just kind of wasted my ...precious time." And truth be told, that's probably what they think about me : )

@@pipessociety2749 It's the point in the relationship where your girlfriend/wife starts to want to claim you and tries to keep you from doing the things that make you happy. I'm not saying all women do it, but a lot do, unfortunately (something to do with evolutionary biology:fear of abandonment that sort of stuff). It's the time when you should move on or have a serious talk (if you want to make it work). The annoying thing about this point is that you usually really love the other person and are willing to do a lot for her, so this behaviour flies in the face of your genuine love.

Love the video !- the combination of the classic Dylan song with the footage of London in very early 1960s shows how much that the 'Times Have Changed'. The train journey - we are all on the journey moving along. I am now 74 yrs old and still playing and singing old beautiful songs by Dylan, Joan Baez, Donovan, Mick Softley and others. Seeing this film footage reminds me what everyday life was like in London in the post war 50s/early 60s . Wonderful days. Makes me feel old but that's okay. That's the way life goes. We are here for a short time but it can also feel like an eternity.. There is a process happening which we are all a part of.

It is really amazing how these music legends seem to be as down to Earth as the rest of us. They can't possibly be living the same lifestyle now, can they? Purdy amazing, how they want to relate to us and still be themselves. I am so glad they are still around and we can be part of it. :o)
