I ran the Bay Bridge half this past sunday over in Oakland, CA and saw a fair share of Go One More hats out there! Cool to see BPN getting the recognition it deserves.
Nick, youre awesome! I really enjoy following your life around sports, family and work. Great work life balance. Im only 21 years old and I feel like what youre living right now, is what I want to have at your age. Keep pushing. Go one more! Greetings from austria and gl for the marathon pr!
Need a Bare Book Recommendation List or something! Would love to have a cumulative list of book and podcast recommendations from you and Steff. 🤔 Love your content, Nick!
Your videos always show me that theres so much more to life. So many more food options, so much more I could push for health and fitness wise. The vibes of the videos are killer!!!!! Food Prep, the meals!! Heck yeah!! Nick!! Go one more!!!
You are so inspirational. Most of us just let life happen to us but you have made your life. That’s something that very few can say. Your videos help, so thank you and congratulations on the amazing life you’ve made.
Hey Nick ever thought of doing Hyrox, it’slike Cross fit but ya know not dumb. Incorporates 8k running split into 1k legs in between sets like shed pull, push, rowing, skiers etc. Think you would be insane at it with your cross training. Have a look at it for after the marathon!
Hell yeah bro, I run that route 4 times a week. Long runs I go from Overlook park all the way to the middle school, or sometimes into town and to the hospital next to 35 and back.
Where do are specifically start that run? I have been trying to find a new long run spot in the Georgetown area and all the roads and trails Nick went on was crazy nice
@@jacepoole7156 if you start at Charles Forbes Middle School, take Katy Crossing and then take a left on River Park Ln, when that road Ts you can get on the San Gabriel river trail and take that all the way to Overlook park, or even to the Dam. If you don't want to start in a neighborhood, you could cut off a mile and start at San Gabriel park. Or you could start on the South trail all the way down on 17th and Scenic; go past Blue Hole Park, take the bridge where the north and south forks of the rivers combine, and then take it to Georgetown Lake like before.
Good for you for putting your child and family first. You leave behind so many amazing high quality videos and have left a great contribution for others to learn from. You're also setting a great example for others by putting your family first. A good friend of mine was raised by an age grouper Kona triathlete, and a mom who's a professional runner. She resents her parents training as her childhood was filled with trips to daycare and to grandmas so that mom and dad could train/race. She claims her family never felt like a family and she hates training and triathlon because of this. I think this stuff's only cool to the point that it's not destructive in this way, like an unhealthy addiction. Way to do it right all the way to the end!
Another great video. Looking forward to the pivot back to strength focused hybrid training with kettlebells/bands etc. especially when the kid comes, time & efficiency will be paramount
How much can you bench press. You seem to live like I have since 18. Strength endurance flexibility is the key. I could bench 375 at 25 and ran Cleveland marathon in 306 in 91. Currently 55 recovering from massive body injuries 42 months ago. Point is if I hadn't trained my whole life I would prolly still be using a walker. I wanna run a 45 minute 5k this summer, I am worried about how painful it will be but gonna try anyhow. Your an animal. Thanks for motivation.
Love the video. I figured you would slow down with your baby girl on the way. Kids change you and they become a priority in life and your personal goals come second. I am 50 and rediscovering my physical abilities all over. I am running Buffalo too. Hope to see you there! Love the products too! They have helped me on many runs. Gonna try it out on Ohio Ironman and brick workouts!
I don’t know if you read comments nick, but thanks for the vids. I’m in nowhere near the shape you’re in but I’m slowly getting stronger because of your tips.
Hey Nick. Have you considered using a vegetable bag instead of all the single use plastic bags that it seems like you use? It's the little things in life that makes the difference. Also, I would like to hear your thoughts about you eating organic, vegetarian, vegan etc. I know that all your products are great quality and I find it very interesting - so please make an in deepth video about that. Would be awesome.
Im new, started running last month. Started the Mafftone method this week. Man am i slow lol 13-14 min pace hopefully slow and steady in a few months i go a lil faster
You wanna like this guy but this is the 2nd time he's talked about a future goal before even being done with the goal he has in front of him. I remember he made a video talking about his ability to focus on the task at hand and block everything else out, while he then proceeded to talk about this marathon he was planning on going sub 2:45 at.
Hey Nick love the content always inspiring!👊 I'm up here in Maine and am signed up for Last Man Standing that is in September, noticed you were on the participants list! Are you not doing it?
Nick! I’m currently training to break the 2:30 barrier in my next marathon, gearing up for a big training block this summer! I’d love some help or advice from the BPN team!
Does anyone know where Nick starts his run from in this video when he ran 16 miles? I’ve been trying to find a new long run route in Georgetown and I want to get out on the roads that he is on and do that same route.
I love my wife as much as you clearly love yours but damn if there isn't something sweet about when they go away for the weekend:) Seems like you enjoyed!
What's others thoughts on running these types of distance without water at all? I tend to not carry water when I run because its annoying to carry extra and adds weight. Interested in what others think or do.
For me I’ll usually only drink water during a long run, and for those I run short loops around my area and leave a water bottle for me to pickup and drink for a lap or two whenever I need it.
hey nick or anyone in the comment section. I'm currently training to get better at running for BMT. I've always lifted weights but i've never been a runner. I can't run the 1.5 miles consecutively yet. Any tips on how to train for that?
Consistency is key my man. I used to not be able to run 1 mile consecutively. Been running for a little over a year & just ran my 1st ever half marathon about a month ago. Never in a million years did I think I could run 13.1 consecutive miles. Definitely possible with consistency !!
I think having "no plan" is good because honestly it's more realistic and what the vast majority of people do. Also in Nick's case it's good because his baby girl will drain his energy more than an ultramarathon! haha
I ran the Bay Bridge half this past sunday over in Oakland, CA and saw a fair share of Go One More hats out there! Cool to see BPN getting the recognition it deserves.
I’ll be wearing mine on this weekends half in bridgehampton Long Island NY 💪💪
Woo! Bay Area repping!
Nick: Holds GoPro for entire 16 mile run
Nick’s training log: *2 hrs isometric bicep work*
Been there, ran the G1M Marathon with a handheld GoPro in one hand, handheld water bottle in the other...big oof. Probably won't do it again.
It’s kind of like holding a pacer flag. You gotta rotate arms.
Glad to see family is still first, despite wanting to jump to his next race. Can’t wait to see how awesome of a dad your going to be!
Been watching you since you were in the military and I was in high school it's been really cool seeing your evolution in business and your life!

That’s an awesome suggestion. Glad you don’t hold back calling CrossFit dumb. It’s such a catalyst for injuries.
Deka Fit, Deka Mile, Ultra Spartan Race, and GoRuck all seem like they would be fun endurance competitions/events
@@wesleytwiggs7687 mark lewis made 2 great videos about it
Given he has trained with Hunter McIntyre before I find it hard to believe he won't be aware of it.
I respect your hustle, discipline & motivation salute from MAFB!!
One of the most inspirational people out there. Not many others could do what you’re doing
How he can run and lift everyday

Legend! Gonna smash that marathon. Go one more.
Thank you so much for the content Nick! I have watched for several years now and it has been so inspiring watching you and BPN grow. #GOONEMORE

I like the way you say " 16 easy miles" I don't think those words should ever be used together in that order...... haha!
Man, Nick, you reading the book of the person you podcast says a lot. You rock and motivate me a lot.
I love these weekend vlogs

You should check out World's Toughest Mudder 24 Hour race. Seems like it is different challenge that has similarities to your 100 milers
Let’s goooo! Strength training is back! 💪🏼
My favorite TH-camr!
Nick your back is something else fair play mate
I can’t wait for that baby girl 🌟🎈🌺

If you sear the roast in a hot pan or grill before putting it in the crock put it will take it to another level!
Are you and A. Klink not doing The Last Man Standing event up in Maine anymore? Saw your names on the registration list.
As someone who lives in Buffalo, I don’t think you’ll need to worry about the heat here, even at the end of May haha 😁
Any plans on more BPN apparel like tank tops and shorts?
What is that first song it’s hype
Funny to see "The Going to Bed Book" I read that to my son every night haha
GOOD LUCK

just keep doing what you’re doing man. nobody on the BPN is near your level
Please don’t listen to these guys!!!
Nick, what happened to the Boston Marathon. Saw you working to qualify and with COVID, I thought you would have done that this not Buffalo.
Nick makes the BEST videos on TH-cam

Michigan is the best!
What song is this at the beginning? Love your stuff Nick
For anyone wondering I found the song, it’s called Never Stop by S.O.
You should try Hyrox, Mark Lewis has a few videos on his channel about it
This man is everything i want to be!
Is it really needed with electrolytes in the morning if you have a normal sized meal the day before and are not going for a 30K?
Nick bout to bulk back up big time
really inspired by you to the point i switched over to hoka 😂 #hoka
What’s the name of the song playing at the beginning of the video?
Yep I’m dying to find out as well!
Never stop by S.O. As of now can only find it on music bed
New Video is uploud from Nick Bare😱🤙
No ketchup on potatoes 🥔 whoa !
Exactly what I do, 20-25 miles a week with one 10 mile run on a Saturday or Sunday morning
That's what I do. 2 5-6 mile runs during the week and 10-12 miles on Saturday
@@bhead0081 That’s what I do. 2 7-8 mile runs in the week and 10 miles on Saturday

What camera do you use Nick to record your videos ?
Anyone know this song @ 1:16? I tried Shazam with no luck.
song at 1:19 ?
Never Stop - S.O. (Found on musicbed)
Georgetown!!!
Focus on the family for the next year. It’ll be worth it. But, let’s do Ironman Florida again in 2023. Maybe a little head to head fun challenge?
Waiting for the new vegetable line 'Strong Potatoes' lol
Does anyone know where Nick starts his run from in this video when he ran 16 miles? I’ve been trying to find a new long run route in Georgetown and I want to get out on the roads that he is on and do that same route.
you should invite Ryan Holiday to your podcast!!
Mans physique is wild man keep it up
Will the app get an updated work out plan once you jump back into strength training and running about 10 Miles a week??
Isn‘t Hyrox something for you Nick?
How do you swallow so many vitamins?
Time to dive into some jiu jitsu nick
Hey bro, you should start hitting some olympic lifts. It'd be sick to see how much you'd progress in a few months with your work ethic!
I love my wife as much as you clearly love yours but damn if there isn't something sweet about when they go away for the weekend:) Seems like you enjoyed!
