Started playing EO3 this year and thanks to your thread/guide's help I managed to defeat the Abyssal god!!! Beat em on my 5th try or so, with this as my party: Prince/Wildling Lv76 Buccaneer/Gladiator Lv76 Monk/Prince Lv76 Zodiac/Ninja Lv76 Ninja/Gladiator Lv76
This is probably one of the best visual designs for an Eldritch Horror I've ever seen in media. The stuff in Bloodborne is better overall, but you never actually come face to face with a thousand-foot-tall Cthulhu-level monster like this in that game. Also, the music! It sounds like if DOOM was a JRPG. I love love love it.
Ah EOIII. Im glad Im seeing more stuff pop in my notifs than that of years ago. That charm of seeing the pixelated text taking up most of the menu spaces is so friggen nostolgic to me. Cant wait to run this game with my 3 wildlings again.
@@DrAraxxorHahaha. Oh BOY. Even with your guidance and grinding to 99 with 70 retire... Well, I won, at least. Probably heavily lucked out on that third attempt, but. Sh/B H/So A/G N/Z M/So Ninja took the Prophecies anf Bunshin for extra coverage with the Hoplite, Shogun went all-in on dualwield swashbuckle for Uroboros Guard (I actually only used it twice though) plus maximized Fore Honor to buff the Arbalist. Plus an element limit on the Ninja for when she had a chance. Funnily enough I _also_ killed him on turn 21!
@@PiradoodImo it's better when games have an intended difficulty instead of just making Expert mode the usual "You deal less damage and take more damage"
What is your favorite Post Game Final Boss in terms of Gameplay? (I know that in terms of design you prefer Abyssal God by far, but his battle is bullcrap)
Plus you mostelikely will have too cheese them (boosted immunize in EO1, hexer plus protector in EO2, Abyssal god is just ass and warped savior is comparably interesting but stupid strong if not weakened with chemicals)
I mean, it is not that bad, you must not attack while he is in defense unless you are faster, and in ofense you must be sure you are healed unless you are fast enough to dodge
@@CarlosSilva-bh4bi No, you HAVE to be attacking while he's in defense, or else he WILL use either Chaotic Beckon or Abyssal Offering to heal and drastically lengthen the fight!
I was trying this one out but everytime that I use line guard and antis, my hoplite won't use it right away. Is my hoplite just slow or I'm doing something wrong? Help ;-;
Unlike other EO games, Hoplite's defensive skills do not have priority. They just have a large speed boost, so it's possible for the Hoplite to be ending up too slow in some cases.
Just reached 25 floor And im sorry, but i am NOT gonna farm until level 90+ to fight this thing I didn't want to spoil me, but i don't have the time to be creating a nice team, because mine is a bit bullcrap Anyways the fucking boss is amazing, is the lost brother of cthulhu, and the theme is awesome
Heh. As long as you have priority (Knighthood or Fore Honor), you don't need to grind up to 90, as the party in this video is in their 70s. Also yeah the aesthetics are awesome.

Thing is, if hints thrown by the game are true, Abyssal God IS Cthulhu! You face tentacle face himself!

definitely prefer the old style DS games I've barely touched any of the 3ds stuff yet
Random 2023 comment but he's gonna look good in the new collection
Time for more people to get to experience this MAJESTY of game design.

Oh this is gonna be super fun in Expert mode.
Expert mode is just the original games' difficulty.
@@DrAraxxor oh... I did not know that. That's kinda lame.
@@Piradood Nah, that is epic because you mastered the game without noticing, now you can say everyone is a rookie playing easy mode

Star Devourer in EO5. It's one of the few post game final bosses that are genuinely well designed. Most of the other fights are simply awful.
Plus you mostelikely will have too cheese them (boosted immunize in EO1, hexer plus protector in EO2, Abyssal god is just ass and warped savior is comparably interesting but stupid strong if not weakened with chemicals)
Star Devourer for the terrifying music and challenge.

Finally gonna get to play this one! Looks fun
Have you played EO V yet? I was just playing it and their version of warrior might is crazy
Yes, I have. And it is pretty crazy.

Thanks for the response~ 💖
Do you have the Save File of EO3? I would like to have it for DSTT, please ^^
you’re playing these all on an emulator, correct?
Yes. Desmume is the one I'm using.
DraStic is a much better emulator. I used it to play the Etrian trilogy on my tablet
